"Rumors Persist on Line That Upcoming Wonder Woman Movie Will Not Suck." Don't worry never fear the haytazz on this site have fifty gallon drums of vitriol to douse any embers of interest to say nothing of ... enthusiasm.

It certainly looks more coherent than the other three DCEU movies. I know we've been here before, but maybe - just maybe - this will be the really good DCEU movie.

Gadot still tends to be rather a charisma vacuum sadly. The Stath is a marvel as ever. His physicality and body language are loved by the camera.

Yeah... I am trying to reserve comment and wait to see the film before I say anything but I don't get the warm tinglys from Gal Gadot. She's attractive and she can handle the role, but I feel like there's something missing from her personality that doesn't make her as endearing as I'd like her to be. I don't have much to go on, however and I hope I'm proved wrong because I would like this film to succeed.

But I felt the same way about Halle Berry in Catwoman and, well....

She has a poker face. No facial articulation. She's always looking like a model. And even in BvS when she is straining its just not convincing. she's just too pristine IMO. She looks a lot more like a high end model cosplaying wonder woman than she does the character.

Plus a German sniper would've popped one between her pretty little eyes the minute her head popped up above that ladder.
I agree with everything above but like everyone above i hope I'm proved wrong, but Gadot only seems to convey any degree of personality off camera rather than in the characters she plays on it.

I think its her eyes. They don't articulate. They almost always seem glassy and frozen. No real wide eyed look. Sultry=angry=shocked and so forth. Brows don't move. Very stoic. If you watch the commercial she did with Stamos its the same way.

I think stoic works with guys cause in the absurd form (Arnie for example) it can be funny/entertaining. But with women I don't think it cuts it. Plus she isn't really stoic, more like she's not animated. There are actresses that can pull off stoic like Sigourney Weaver. She doesn't have to be hyper emotional but mean should look mean. determined should look determined. she just always looks pretty.

Like look at the thumbnail pic here between her and Stamos. Stamos with a few eye brow shifts, smirk, face muscles pulls off a look. With her its all glass smooth. Is she upset? Excited? Scared? Determined? Threatened? Having gas? In Love? Waiting to get paid? Not one muscle used to express anything. The only thing in the movie that would help is if she wasn't hyper emotional which would really become odd given her total lack of expression. She should then stay emotionless and determined. In that case I would like the character because I don't like hyper emotional people.

Just a heads up, Mr. X: that gent is Jason Statham, not Stamos.

And for the record, in the B v S: Dawn of Justice movie, I thought that Gal did a more credible job as Diana Prince in her scenes with Bruce Wayne when retrieving the memory stick about her past from Lex Luthor's HQ than she did in her WW scenes.
Supergirl Captured By The Mob
Wonder Woman &the Superheroine Serial Killer
WonderWoman in the Lair of the Scarecrow
WW: In the Harrods' Dressing Room
Batgirl: A Loss of Dignity
Supergirl: Prison Hostage
Defilers' Club: First Victim (Supergirl)
