The Paddington movie, now out on DVD and Blu-Ray, is mostly a nice cute family flick about a talking bear from Darkest Peru who is taken in by a family in London. On that level, it's fun, and has some familiar faces among its live action cast, including Hugh Bonneville and Jim Broadbent from Downton Abbey, and Peter Capaldi the current Doctor Who.
Of somewhat more relevant interest, however, is Nicole Kidman as Millicent Clyde, a wicked museum curator who wants to add Paddington to her taxidermy collection. She is quite kinky in this role, running around in curve-hugging suits, high heels, and at some points, a snakeskin catsuit. She delivers her dialog in an arch-villain fashion that is campy and sexy, and she possesses a full complement of spy gadgets, including a well-used tranquilizer dart gun. She also has a fairly iconic look with her white pixy-cut hair. Pretty much an Emma Peel gone bad.
I would say it is definitely worth a watch.
