Hey everyone, you might've noticed this little Tags box that sits above the new topic window, it's so you can tag your posts with tags of interest.

This is great for new releases that contain characters or elements that are well known. I added a few as an example.

Story witers should love this feature as well!

1) do yopu mean tags like marking a subject *chloroform *peril *debooting, etc so that people looking for just those elements can type in their area of interest and then having a list of topics wit those tags?

2) I can't seem to find where the tags are.

is it available with all templates?
I'm asking because this is what it looks like when I start a new post. I can't seem to find where the tags are.

Can you post a screen shot of what we're supposed to see?

Wait do you mean those topic icons just above the subject line?

yup. there it is. my only follow up question would be: if we wanted to add more than one tag would we be able to just by putting a space between tags?

BTW Im on Safari for a web browser
admin

I've just started to post a thread in the Releases section as a test and I could see them, I was also able to add tags to an existing topic that I had started (in the Stories section) with no problems.

Anastasia, was it in the releases section that you could not see them? (I ask because I know some elements of the forum like the reputation thumbs don't appear against all threads in different parts of the forum) They should be a blank field below the subject/title box that when you type into it creates the tag.

Have you tried editing the first post of a thread you have started and if so can you see them then?

Also are you using dark theme or light? Dark theme has to have the CSS fixed so that users can see the tags..

:ybat: When I see the tags against the dark background, they remind me of the Bat Signal, only in rounded button shapes and not a circle, and with text instead of the bat symbol. They definitely draw attention with their relative brightness! :ybat:

Actually seem too attention drawing when many are used.

Yeah I might need to tone that down a bit. Those default colors are meant for the lighter theme, so they're a little bombastic in the darkness :)

It turns out the topic Tag plugin has been abandoned by the developer. I could keep but my initial feeling is to remove them until they are being updated again.

However , if you guys feel strongly about them, I'll keep em up.

I won't miss them a bit. See "Saturn Girl 2-Witching Season" in Recent Superheroine Releases.

Topic Tags are gone. They have not been updated for a while and if they ever come back I''ll figure another way to implement them.

Topic Tags could be making a comeback! Apparently the developer made progress on them and they are working better, so I may add them back...
