My latest movie: The Perils of Slave Leia/ Episode 2 - Return of Leia
It is a sci-fi parody, with a damsel in distress. This time Princess Leia. But she is not weak, she can absolutely take care of herself but she would need some rescuing form the Rebels. SO maybe she is more of a super heroine than a damsel. I will let you figure it out yourself and categorize her any way you please!
They are villain of course. Lady Vader and a female stormtrooper just doing her soldier duties. They want Leia to become their ally and join on the dark side of the force. Because Lady Vader knows she would be quite an asset!
But they are NOT related in my story. That's why people do parody. It's not a copy of the movie, it's an original take and twist on existing characters.
And it's VERY entertaining!!
I am excited about this project because a lot of heart, time, effort and money went into it. YEP. It was my idea, so I made it happened.
The movie is 56 minutes long and was shot in 4 different locations, over 3 days with a week of editing and several days of prop building and costuming. It was a bigger project than usual but something I wanted to do. And I am VERY pleased with the way it turned out.
