Here is a short script I wrote, hoping to actually make it into a short film, but I got bogged down with other projects I never really pursued it at the time. If someone else want's to take the ball and run with it be my guest, also I am looking to do a story or a superheroine script, for a film using some of the characters from THE CHARACTER HANDBOOK, (in this forum) (some of these characters have GREAT stories to tell,) but I am at an end of which one;s to use. I would like it be something like where old joins with new to combat an unstobable evil. Something like the BATMAN film of the 1960's where they not had to battle one enemy but 4. If anyone has any ideas let me know or I could start a thread by starting the script out and anyone who has something to add can add on.

Anyway here is BLOODMOON.

FADE IN:
INT. WAREHOUSE OR BASEMENT - NIGHT

A strange ceremony is in occurrence. Present are several men
(Mid 20's-30'S) dressed in somewhat strange ritualistic
attire. There are several candles burning at a makeshift
altar. Tied to it is an attractive female who appears very
desperate. There is a haunting chanting as the chanting
seems to drown out the woman's screams. The leader ROLF(Mid
20'S/Early 30'S approaches her and douses her with a strange
type liquid. The chanting seems to grow louder as one of the
men removes a strange dagger and hands it ROLF.

ROLF
(Taking dagger and
crossing to
altar.)
O Lord and master.Xvaquis with
this soul we purge to your
greatness and await thy
deliverance Hail
Xvaziquis


KLEIN (Mid 20's), JOSH (Mid 20's) SVEN (Mid 20's)
the other men in the group repeat the chanting.

As the chanting reaches a crescendo the blade is raised
high. The woman screams as the blade slashes down repeatedly
leaving a gory crimson remains. The men dabble in the
woman's gore and raise their hands in a frenzy chanting and
shouting.
CUT TO:

EXT-WAREHOUSE-DAY

A television report is broadcasting the report as an
attractive female reporter AMY KNIGHT (Mid 20's/Early 30's)
is broadcasting from the scene.

AMY
Again authorities are at a
standstill as the grisly remains
of another victim are discovered.
This marks the 10th victim within
the past 3 months. Authorities
suspect that the ritualistic
slayings may be the work of a
cult. While many questions remain
one thing is for certain with
these predators about no one
sleeps easy these nights. This is
Amy Knight reporting from.



INT. DOJO OR WAREHOUSE - DAY

An attractive girl (early 20’s) is working out more
aggressive than before. She is in costume. In a rigorous workout of martial
arts and gymnastics and sorcery. This is BLOODMOON but her persona is ANTAKAYA

BLOODMOON (VO)
As the great goddess Sekhmet
protected the world from evil
throughout centuries it was
prophesized that evil shall
consume the earth and hell shall
claim its kingdom. But the chosen
shall oppose the forces of
darkness. For she shall become the
protector of the innocent and
destroyer of evil.


ANNAKYKA stumbles during a routine.

BLOODMOON
Just my luck.


BLOODMOON (VO)
For I am the chosen, the judge,
jury and executioner. The forces
of darkness shall and fear my
name.
For they shall know now why they
will fear the night.


The title BLOODMOON is slashed across the screen in crimson
red titles.


INT. DOJO OR WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

ANNAKAYA is in conference with older gentlemen this is
XAVIER.

XAVIER
(Pacing across the
room)
Antakya is you sure this is the
best action to pursue. They will
surely know that you are
Bloodmoon.


BLOODMOON
Xvaquis minions are out there
slaughtering innocents for their
bullshit purposes. My God two of
the victims were just children.
KIDS. I mean 3 years ago here I
was this perky cheerleader out in
Egypt on a field trip I find this
amulet and suddenly I become this
BLOODMOON. And then you show up. To
fulfill my destiny...


XAVIER looks at her and smiles and nods approvingly.

XAVIER
So young but so wise. You are
ready to fulfill your destiny.


BLOODMOON
I learned from the best.


They embrace in a solemn moment.


INT. HOUSE OR WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

ROLF, KLEIN, JOSH, SVEN, are preparing for their next
prey (victim) as they are seated around the altar.

ROLF
(handling dagger)
Soon my brothers the master shall
be upon us and it shall be
glorious!


SVEN
Just one more special soul to
fulfill thy destiny.


JOSH
Schoolgirls are hot. And oh so
pure


KLEIN
I know the exact place where we
can find some fresh meat.


ROLF
Tomorrow we strike.


KLEIN
Umm brothers not to dampen the
mood here but what about you know
who... Little Miss Mighty.


JOSH
Yeah word has it that she's our
worst nightmare. With her on the
loose we're screwed.


ROLF
When the ascension commences
she'll be the one that will be
screwed.


They all laugh while continuing to discuss plans.


EXT. STREETS - NIGHT

ANNAKAYA is disguised as a schoolgirl in attempts to lure
the minions into her trap. She appears to portray the part to
a tee looking naive and innocent as she walks down some
lonely streets knowing that most of victims were grabbed in
isolated parts of the city. ANNAKAYA is speaking into a cell
phone as she walks.

BLOODMOON
(speaking into
phone)
Ok Xavier I am on the move now. No
signs of anything out of the
ordinary at the moment.


XAVIER (VO)
They will come little one. They
will come.


BLOODMOON
That's what I'm afraid of.


ANNAKAYA continues walking with somewhat with caution but
unaware that someone is following her. ANNAKAYA soon begins
to get a feeling that there is danger near and she quickly
begins to feel uneasy and pick up the pace a bit. All of a
sudden out of the blue JOSH appears in front of her.

JOSH
Hey what's the hurry little girl.


BLOODMOON
Oh I'm sorry I was just, just.


JOSH
Now, Now a pretty little thing
like you shouldn't be wandering
all alone out here by yourself.


JOSH grins menacingly at her and his eyes glow. ANNAKAYA
gasps
as he reaches out to grab her. She backs away a bit only to
be grabbed from behind by SVEN who covers her mouth with a
rag her struggles become weaker as she starts to black out.
Sound of menacing laughter is heard.


INT. WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

ANNAKAYA is tied up to a hanging upside down she is gagged
while her hands are bound and it's above a chalice. above she
is still unconscious while sounds are heard from her POV.

ROLF
(examining her
face and body)
This one is perfect. The best yet


JOSH
I told you we could pick em.


ROLF
I must prepare alone. The rest of
you make sure nothing goes wrong
tonight. Guard this place and one
of you... Make sure Cinderella's
not late for the ball.


ROLF, KLEIN, SVEN, disperse leaving JOSH along with
ANNAKAYKA. JOSH throws some water into her face; suddenlely
awaking her she is startled.

ANNAKAYA struggles but it is useless. JOSH laughs

JOSH
My you are a fiery one. Good we like
them spicy.


BLOODMOON
(still struggling)
MMMFFFMFFF MMFFFF MFFFF


JOSH (cont)
Oh sorry cat got your tongue?


He removes the gag.

BLOODMOON
Let me the hell out of here!


JOSH (cont)
No can do, you have a date with
destiny tonight. You are the guest
of honor.


JOSH moves towards her and starts to fondle her she resists.

JOSH (cont)
O.O you’re a tender one aren't you.


He feels her ass.

JOSH (cont)
Someone's been working out.


BLOODMOON
You bastard, you creep. You will
be ...


He covers her mouth with the gag.

JOSH moves to her ANNAKAYA senses there is danger about her.

JOSH
To much yakking not well I'll just
leave you here a little while to
simmer down, and then we can get on
with the festivities.


She is left alone. This becomes a short montage of her
struggling within her bonds, to no avail realizing the
situation is helpless. With her gagged she can't chant to
the goddess Sekhmet and become BLOODMOON, but then she
realizes something.

XAVIER
(V.O)
Reach out with your mind, young
one, reach out within your soul.
Feel the power from within and
become.


ANNAKYA shrugs what little choice does she have now.

She slowly starts to pass out from lack of oxygen but a
strange occurrence happens. Suddenly there is a great aura
of light as the image of Sehkhmet appears suddenly their as
an image of an eclipse as the moon turns blood red, and
after the aura fades, ANNAYKA is now BLOODMOON, bathed in a
shinny red leotard, red mask, her hair is fiery red, and
shinny red low cut boots, and a cape. There are Egyptian
hieroglyphics on both of her upper armbands. With all of her
strength she escapes her bonds and pretends to hang
suspended as she hears JOSH approaching. He is so wrapped up
in his own world; he is oblivious to everything around him.

JOSH
Here I come for some fun


BLOODMOON
(softly)
Ok, yeah, yeah, you know you want
it, come on


As Josh rounds the corner to where is captive is suddenly
with a burst of fury BLOODMOON, kicks out with all her
strength. Her feet blast into his face in a crimson of blood
as JOSH reels back. He looks shocked.

BLOODMOON
Sorry your girl took a rain check.


JOSH
BITCH. You'll do fine. Okay you
want it rough.


ANNAKAYA springs down into a combat stance.

BLOODMOON
Bring it.


They fight. Details of combat scene TBA. Most of the time
he's distracted by the bright glare of the shinny leotard
between her legs before her feet collides with his face. It
concludes where ANNAKAYA dispatches him with brutal and
savage force in either a martial art or gymnastic maneuver.
He either vanquishes into ash or dissolves into a pile of
goop. ANNAKAYA a little battered herself removes herself
from the scene.

BLOODMOON
Was it good for you to.


She darts out of the room in her vengeance quest.


INT. ANOTHER PART OF THE BUILDING - NIGHT

KLEIN is guarding another part is trying to radio, JOSH

KLEIN
(on device)
All quiet on this end, JOSH you
there? JOSH cut the shit man or
ROLF is going to get...


BLOODMOON swings down from a beam she was hiding from above and
kicks him he falls. He notices her covered with gore and
gook.

BLOODMOON
Your buddies’ gone bye, bye.


In a rage KLEIN charges her they fight. Details of combat
sequence TBA. Again he's distracted by the bright glare of
her costume especially between her legs as he sees a bare
foot or feet smash him to a pulp. She dispatches him with
swift and brutal justice. BLOODMOON starts to get hyped up,
about this and surge of energy flows through her like an
orgasm as the radio voice comes through.

SVEN (VO)
KLEIN come in, KLEIN, ROLF is
almost ready, KLEIN.


KLEIN runs into the area and sees a shambles, he removes his
dagger in anger only BLOODMOON leaps on him from the
shadows, and they fight details of combat sequence TBA. Again
she dispatches him with savage fury.

BLOODMOON
3 down one to go.



INT. BASEMENT OR CHAMBER NIGHT. - NIGHT

ROLF is preparing for the sacrifice. As he prepares to decorate the alter.

ROLF
O mighty Xvazquias your accession
into this world will be glorious
and the beginning of a new world
order as only you can deliver o
master.


While he speaks ANNAKAYA sneaks in behind him. He is unaware
of her presence but then something posses him and he turns
around as if given a sign.

ROLF
(in a possessed type
voice more
bizarre sounding
than previous.)
YOU! BLOODMOON. .


BLOODMOON
Awe seems like I spoiled the
party. Sorry but party crashing is
my specialty especially for scum
like you.


In a rage ROLF charges her and they fight. Details of combat
sequence TBA but this time it is more even sided because ROLF
seems to have unspeakable power now. As this is a brutal
struggle, chanting, begins, (Other FX stuff TBA.) ROLF
hurls BLOODMOON toward the alter and forces her body upon
it as he rises what seems to be a claw type hand.

ROLF
(In a possessed
type frenzy
shouting above
the chanting
music)
MIGHTY XVASQUIS, ACCEPT THIS
SACRAFICE AS YOUR WELCOME MAT


When it seems like BLOODMOON will suffer a fate worse than
death in a last heroic brazen maneuver she manages to free
herself from ROLF'S grasp and the battle turns in her favor
as she dispatches ROLF, with brutal, fury, there is an
unearthly scream as he perishes. Soon all is quiet BLOODMOON
rests looking around as she catches her breath and licks her
wounds. Looking at her costume which is a cascade of gore
and gook.

BLOODMOON
They always have to do it the hard
way. Great this cleaning bill is
going to cost a fortune but wait.


She closes her eyes, and raises her hands a mysterious
aura appears and suddenly her costume is clean again.

BLOODMOON
How about that. Instant laundry
service.



INT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY

ANNAYKA's friends, HAN, BETH, CARA, and JOEL, are gathering
around conversing.

HAN
So Anna where you last night. We
all went down to the surf but
couldn't reach you.


CARA
Yeah your phone always went to VM
you really must have been busy.


BLOODMOON
(aka ANNAKYA)
Ummm yeah. I had some things to
take care of. Really crazy night.


JOEL
You mean something’s or someone.


Beth nudges JOEL.

BETH
Well at least the streets are safe
again, those creeps finally got
what they deserved.


HAN
Yeah Justice.


BLOODMOON
(aka: ANNAYKA)
Y.Yeah, Yeah,



EXT. CITY SKYLINE - NIGHT

BLOODMOON (V.O)
It is said that vengeance is a
dish best served cold. For those
that inflict evil, pain and
suffering upon mankind. They'll
have BLOOMOON to deal with.


There is a shot of BLOOMOON standing on the rooftop looking
at the moon as it turns a reddish color.


EXT. STREETS-ALLEYWAYS - NIGHT

ANNAYKA is maneuvering through the streets and alleys like a
cat on the prowl.

BLOODMOON
For I am the protector of this
world and destroyer of all those
who threaten its existence.
Creatures of the night and other
unspeakable terrors fear and know
my name for I am...


The title BLOODMOON is flashed across the scene as well as
an echo whisper repeating BLOODMOON
