Help us save some bandwidth!

How does that apply to those of us who are hosting our own images and using the IMG tag to show them on here?
I mean if the image is being hosted on my servers and I am linking to them via an image tag here does the forum still use bandwidth?

I know that in the past i have uploaded images to the forum in which case the forum is using bandwidth but i can easily host those images as well if it will help the forum save bandwidth.

please advise.

Lately Ive been noticing some large images being uploaded, both in filesize and image size. As long as the filesize is manageable I can always constrain the image size..and in fact, I do!

ok, cool to know. I'll start hosting our screen caps as well that way it will help with the bandwidth. Sometimes i like bombarding the thread with images....probably for the best to host them on my side. lol
