Male/Female OR Female/Female Peril... which do YOU prefer?
Female/female, generally. Yes, I'm one of THOSE fans who are supposedly in the silent majority on the Internet.

Definitely F/F all the way. Besides, the males in most M/F videos are usually not on par physically with their female counterparts and often look like they would struggle to rise from a comfy couch, much less defeat a superheroine. And while I'm thinking about it, what's up with villains on one particular site wearing t-shirts with their company name and web address displayed prominently while they're in character? Completely destroys any suspension of disbelief.

M/F but with the guy who looks like he actually could defeat a heroine.A guy can have a girl over his shoulder without straining like a woman would.

So far, it's an even poll. Which makes things easy.

Probably. As long as it doesn't turn into the online preverbal food fight... all in good fun.Duran wrote:This question ranks right up there with the hose/no hose debate.

Female v Female, but with both opponents being fit/attractive. Something very appealing about a sexy bad girl
F/F
This is one of the reasons I never understood mainstream pornography. Why would I watch another man's private parts bounce around as he does his thing ?
When it comes to superheroine peril, the problem with movies at least is that the male characters portrayed are not compelling villains but rather low-level douches. Writers can create interesting male villains in their stories, but there I return to the first problem, namely that at some point my imagination will register another guys' private parts bouncing around as he humps the heroine, so no.
With women things are different. Even if they do not have mind-boggling acting skills, it's enough for them to be curvy and fight dirty in order to make things interesting.
I think it would be totally possible to make outstanding M/F films which would remain hallmarks of human culture, but given that this subject is currently "forbidden", it remains only a dream for a faraway future I will probably not live long enough to see. Still, with a mainstream-level budget, I think even the gods of Olympus would be left in awe at the result .
Edit: also, just because someone mentioned it, bare legs forever. If pantyhose was the way to go, women would have been born wearing them.

1) porn is meant to induce the imagination of being in place of the male. Not to assess his genitals...?
2) by the thought process regarding pantyhose, wouldn't that mean girls shouldn't wear makeup as well?
You raise some valid points. Let's see:
1. I guess it makes sense, but if you cannot identify yourself with the character and the setting, and remain an external observer, it's like watching wildlife documentaries about weird mating habits. For me, it goes the same way with superheroine peril. I can never identify myself with the villain, that is, if I was living inside a superheroine fantasy I could never be the guy tormenting the heroine, so maybe it's all about the roles we want to play inside our heads.
2. First off, just to be clear, I was joking. I do not like hosery but I have absolutely nothing against fans of it or productions involving it. They do not target me, so I do not target them. Now, the answer to your question is "yes, they shouldn't", which should once again be interpreted as "I do not like that element, but it's ok if you like it!". At least as far as real life goes, if a woman is really beautiful she remains so without the make-up. If you take the make-up off of celebrities in the film/music industry, many times you end up with women that are downright ugly, or at best average. Then again, I do not know much about filming, I guess make-up is actually necessary so that the cast is visible through the camera?
As an added comment, I like make-up in one particular context, namely when it is used to portray an exotic character, like Mystique in X-Men. So yes, if in a movie you want to present a character with features that are currently impossible for human women (but let's talk again in 50 years, if they have nailed genetic engineering down by then) you need to resort to make-up. However, I simply do not like when it is used to make an otherwise ugly woman appear beautiful.

Because of the wording of the question which clearly means that it is the peril part we are being asked about I voted for "either" because the peril scenes are just that so as long as the superheroine is in peril I don't care who is putting the peril to her because this is the superheroines and we know they have limitations.
But if the question had focussed on the entire movie or the fighting I would always say Female v Female unless it was somethig like DOOMSDAY but then again I wuld prefer to see a hulked out woman rather than the male DOOMSDAY even though he was great..I simply like looking at women more than I do men LOL!

Looks like I will be on the minority for this one again, lol.
When it's about pure Peril, I don't care if it's M/F or F/F.
When it's about fighting, I prefer M/F by far. I always loved to see a Superheroine/villainess fighting/wrestling against a male. I don't really care who's the good and who's the villain. Also, I prefer when the male and the female are equally powerful, this makes the fight well balanced which is a thing I like a lot. Also, I prefer when the male wins at the end, perhaps because it's more subversive this way, lol.

They each have their advantages.
Personally, I prefer F/F, because you get to watch two hot sexy babes instead of one. And I also like to watch the villainess strut and posture and just be generally sexy.
M/F has the potential for a little more threat and tension, though, because there's always the possibility of penetration. Personally, that doesn't do much for me, but I can understand the appeal.

Mostly f/f for me, but I do enjoy m/f as well, if the male completely overpowers the heroine.
For me, the f/f thing ruined this genre because so much of the material now features it. I know guys like seeing girls doing other girls, but when it comes to this fantasy, for me at least, it's about being able to put myself in the role of the villain. Many of the scenes, be it in comics, tv, movies or wherever, that originally seeded this fetish for many of us featured a male villain doing the dirty work even if the actual leader was a woman (Fausta, Baroness, Catwoman, etc.). Sure, it would be nice if the villain was a visually appealing guy instead of some fat guy in a tee shirt and shorts like we see in some productions, but these aren't Hollywood produced with a real budget. When I see a video featuring a female villain and then her and the heroine doing each other (often willingly), I see a cop out, just two chicks in costume playing with each other for the camera and getting paid to do it. It has little to do with this fetish IMO.
"There's no feeling quite as exciting as that of having a helpless superheroine in your arms"
Question: For the M/F peril, are we talking having the male put the female in peril? Or can it go both ways? I ask because I always love to see Tiffany Chase as Moonstar dominating an opponent, and it could be fun to have her kick Logan's ass on an episode. Of course, I'll freely admit that Tiffany Chase as Moonstar in general is a favorite of mine.
Maybe that's the difference? Personally I don't want to imagine myself as the villain. If I gave myself a part in this kind of film I'd be the hero who bursts in and rescues the heroine just after the villainess has successfully had her way with her.drh1966 wrote: ... it's about being able to put myself in the role of the villain ...

Without disrespecting anyone who produces these films, this is EXACTLY what I said. 2 Adult Actresses who were like - we can get together with some girls we know and do sex scenes in superheroine costumes and these guys will go crazy for it! When I see the previews, its always like "X Girl gets caught in the evil trap while trying to thwart Evil Y's plans..." but then trailers (if there are any) and the screen captures look like 2 minutes of "story" followed by 13 minutes of eating each other out and using obvious sexy toys. Like Batwoman just carries a pink dildo around with her-- hence my confusion as to what viewers want because - I can EASILY make that if that is what is wanted. All of my films in this genre have been laden with fighting and story - adding as much peril in as possible-- that is very difficult to do-- especially with adult actresses. The sex scenes are what come natural and easy for them. It's also EXTREMELY easy to make a 15-20 minute sex video. It naturally takes that long to drag out. But have you have ever tried to make a 15-20 minute fight scene? It takes A LOT of time and A LOT of direction to do properly. Wrestling videos and sex videos = easy to make long and justify the $1/min rate everyone fascinates over. Eat someone out = 5 minutes. Chokehold = 1 min-2 min... a punch = half a second.drh1966 wrote:For me, the f/f thing ruined this genre because so much of the material now features it. Monster would only do that in Heroine Kombat since Monster is part of Super vs Evil which is all female. We don't do too many female-dominating films in general-- the general consensus is to see the heroine Defeated. 00Angels has Alexa winning 80% of her films though so that's probably right up your alley-- but that's a Girl Power (mixed with Peril to make it interesting) series. And she held her own as Shadowgirl vs Kaid (me, Logan) in our Heroine Kombat episodeBrad wrote:Question: For the M/F peril, are we talking having the male put the female in peril? In Superheroine Peril, the mix is pretty much 60:40 male to female villains. This is probably about right for the interests of the majority of fans are going to be covered by the hetero and lesbian sex implications, male and female domination and so on. If you want to ring the changes a bit then follow up on the Joker/Harley combination or maybe an evil version of Charlie's Angels [Charlie's Demons, perhaps] with henchwomen doing the evil deeds on the heroines: KAK and their sister productions provide a template for such stories. But most of the mainline producers in this field already have an understanding of their market [if not every individual] and I'm very much a supporter of the "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" school of thought.
Heh no but I guess that speaks to the "two directions" thingLogan wrote:is that really a rescue?niko999 wrote:Maybe that's the difference? Personally I don't want to imagine myself as the villain. if it's porn -> super heroine then the hero bursts in *after* the sex scene
if it's super heroine -> porn then the hero bursts in just after the pre-sex suggestive dialog scene but *before* the actual sex
I much prefer F/F. I also much prefer videos with story, lots of fighting and peril over videos where it's mostly sexual content or essentially "porn in costume". I understand your difficulties Logan with adult actresses not being used to demanding action scenes along with their costs, time, choreography, training etc. to make X-rated F/F videos which involve a lot of peril and action and less of the sexual stuff.
So despite my preferences, I think it's unlikely we'll see many long running F/F adult-themed superheroine series with a decent action/peril:sex ratio but if anyone can pull it off consistantly, it's you guys!
