The title says it all.

I've finally decided to take the plunge and jump into the pool of superhero fetish filmmaking. Through some mutual connections, I was able to secure a meeting with a top level porn producer who I had no idea lived in my area. He heard of my love for this fetish, and has decided to try an offshoot of his own very popular clips4sale site that centers exclusively on heroine peril.

We are prepping for the first shoot now, which is tentatively scheduled for the end of July. Two porn girls will be partaking, both well known. Don't want to lay out names yet till everything is set in stone, but needless to say I am very excited.

I'm posting this here to see if there are any special things you guys would like to see that you feel go unfulfilled in most other productions. In this first shoot, we will be hitting on sleepy elements, carrying, bondage, vibrator work, light wrestling, groping, foot fetish, pantyhose, and topless nudity. ALL of my videos will have girls in tights, at least initially.

Things off the table (initially): Death, rape, and disturbing stuff lol

The tone here is corny, pulpy, 60's esque superhero fun but with some sexiness added in. First shoot will be Wonder Woman and Poison Ivy. Hit me with what you've got. Script overview needs to be done within a week or so.

Excellent news. It will be good to see what happens when one of "us" long-term fans crosses over into the industry. I wish you every success.

Having said that, you do realize that MH might have something to say about any deadlines you miss, don't you?

Congratulations on entering the field.
I wish you success. I know there is very little I can possibly help with but if there is anything at all I can do to help please feel free to reach out.
you're going to love this job.
Seriously.
If I can leave you a few suggestions:

1) don't go into debt buying a pro-sumer camera. As long as it's HD quality you don't need a $2500 camera. start simple and as you get comfortable (not to mention start making money) you can move up to better and better cameras.

2) this also applies to lighting. do tyne best you can with your budget.

3) if you already have disposable income that you don't mind blowing then disregard the first two suggestions.
I have met a few producers who had a really great idea but spent thousands on cameras (multiple for different angles) and lighting.
He made one movie and didn't make back 1/8th of the money he spent. He ended up hiring models and shooting a few movies before realizing he spent too much on startup and wasn't anywhere near breaking even.

4) If you have a fetish....try not filming it right away. There are some producers who shoot their kink and they get so caught up in doing what turns them on that they don't realize they are filming crap. Put the filming first.

5) don't be surprised if your first movies aren't perfect. nobody's are. as you grow and learn new things your films will become better. don't get discouraged.

6) listen carefully to constructive criticism, but disregard trolls. There are a few producers who are very sensitive when people comment on the quality of the work. this is to be expected. If you feel someone is trolling you just reply with "I'm sorry my movie isn't up to your standards" and don't reply again. Listen carefully to what others say. see if you can add whatever element they say is off. learn to accept contrary ideas. they make work better and if they work, then thats all you can ask for.

7) don't be afraid to ask other producers questions about editing. Some will ignore you, some will tell you they are not parting with secrets, others will help you. When I first started I was lost and I asked a guy named Gary Pranzo who shoots giantess content about editing issues and he ended up spending an hour with me walking me through premiere pro. There are producers who will help if they can. don't be afraid to ask.

8) don't forget your roots. Did you every order a custom and had to wait a month or longer to get your custom? remember those feelings when you have to edit a custom for a client and you're exhausted and think of putting it off. Currently it takes me 1-7 weeks to deliver customs. this is because we shoot them, and edited them, and deliver them in order they were ordered. If I tried putting it off because i was tired it would take 2-3 months to get them out. I just don't have that luxury and soon neither will you.

9) The most important thing is to have fun, and laugh. if you don't find the happy you will soon be miserable and want to quit.

If I can be of any help....please...reach out. I will do my best

Good luck with this new venture, obvious caveats about going into business with someone you barely know, so make sure it's all properly done, I wish you every success.

Thank you for the tips. Your generosity and advice are valued and much appreciated.

This is a unique case in that I've lucked myself into a fantastic situation where I've aligned myself with an already established producer who is looking to branch out to new areas. So i already have all the tools and equipment needed. My role is to be the creative force behind this new content, writing the scripts and doing the on-set directing, which I have prior experience in.

I will definitely be in touch, and I hope you can do the same. Gonna be an exciting summer.

Good luck with this venture. I hope you find it rewarding both financially and personally. I've long been interested in entering this genre as a hobby and producing the type of videos I love since I have trouble finding what I like without having to pay for what I call filler and the checklist of fetishes many producers feel are necessary to include to reach the most consumers. But unfortunately, for this hobby, I have a wife so it'll forever be a no go...Now if I was single...hmmmmm

totally cool,

good luck, really, any opportunity to have some one put out the things we like is a very selfish and self serving but I still wish you tons of luck and enjoyment in all your endeavors. wish you all the best, success on your part means great heroine XXX peril on our part,,,,we hope

as MH said we all look forward to being affirmation/asshole fans/critics and customers for you.

please remember, naked is boring, enjoyment is not peril and most importantly, there is no such thing as too much spandex and nylon,,,,,and penetration :P

and Levi,

very cool of you to provide lesson learned, kudos to you and evi, you guys are good peeps.

Wanted to update everyone:

Script has been turned in. Looking at an early to mid-August shoot date. Once we have locked models (have several options we are mulling over), I will update again. After that I should soon have some preview pics as well!

Good on you fella.

Whilst I don't expect details, just out of interest, how many models are you looking at in the film? (1,2,3?)

We are starting small, so just two. No other additional. There are ko's, carries, forced orgasms, lots of fondling, all the good stuff.

Future videos will be more involved and require more prep, but we wanted to keep the first one simple yet highly satisfying and cater to the tastes of those here. I believe the key is to make films that I would enjoy, and hope that enthusiasm and passion shows through to cater to a wider audience.

Trust me, I will pay attention to the little details and I will make sure you get your money's worth. Cuz I've been disappointed before with some other product many times myself, and I don't want that happening here.

Alexis Grace MIGHT be playing Wonder Woman, but I haven't decided if I want to go with someone established or someone fresh and new. Have several VERY sexy options with some girls who have not done any superheroine work before.

I'll be sure to keep you guys posted.

Is there a male villain, or is it just female/female?

This first go round, its female villain against female heroine. Future installments will mix things up more.

Do you know what model rates are in the industry?
If not feel free to contact me because there are certain models who hyper-inflate their rates and to be honest are just not worth it.

I've lucked myself into a situation where my SOLE responsibilities are developing story ideas, costume design, and co-directing on set. As I mentioned in the first post, I've aligned myself with a well-established porn producer who is looking to branch out from his usual content. He's handling all the booking of talent, and has established connections and strong rapport with lots of industry mainstays. So that whole aspect is essentially out of my hands. And i wouldnt have it any other way lol

I do highly appreciate you reaching out with all of this fantastic advice and info though. Youre clearly not only a well respected producer but a good guy to boot.

Sorry about this guys. Just now saw that this got bumped. As in many situations with producers on here, I may have spoken a bit too soon.

Funding and casting has been slowly but surely making its way together. Things got a bit sidetracked over the last month but were almost back on track. I'll keep everyone informed.
