Thigh Highs vs. Tights On Superheroine Costumes

Im curious. I've been coming up with some designs for superheroine costumes and I keep cycling back to a thong leotard styled costume with thigh highs, like Silk Spectre but with thigh highs and I don't know if it's something that would fly. I'll never drop the shiny tights that I've shot with forever since I love them so much.

What do you guys think?

Another vote for the tights. They just work.

Thigh highs don't seem very superheroiney and virtuous to me. They make the wearer seem too... available.

If thigh highs are going to be used at all, I'd personally prefer them to be on villainesses or transformed superheroines.

while the thigh highs above have their merits, I hate the feel of the liquid look spandex or latex so that in turn ruins it for me, I know what the feel is like so the look doesn't matter, I haven't found nylon P-hose/tights I didn't like though, I don't think bad sheer nylon exists.

Thigh high stockings would be best used with a villainess. Heroine's I'd have in normal tights/pantyhose.

Only thing that comes to my mind is about the high cut outfits I do like them but when the panties end up showing it pretty much destroys the whole look, I only say this because of the recent video called Agent Walker 2 model was great but part way through the video her lingerie started to show and that pretty much killed that video for me :(
Also some times to high is too much ?

You know, this is exactly what I had in mind when I created this thread. I like the look and jiggle of a bare butt in a thong or french cut leotard but I also like the legs and feet to be wrapped in spandex or nylon. But I have to agree, thigh highs with a costume is a tough sell and of course I love tights.

(Of which I will be bringing PLENTY to FetishCon!)

I think both could work, but tights over thigh highs.
As Heroine Addict said the thigh highs make the superheroine seem to "available.
Thigh high boots "eg on ms marvel" work well though, without tights.
