For those of you not familiar with her, a quick history on the character.

Suri, is a character that i designed over half a decade ago, and has quietly existed and evolved in my mind over time.

She is the daughter of Superman's sworn enemy, General Zod. She left Krypton when Zod disgraced himself, and has arrived on Earth only recently. Time has passed and Superman has established himself as the hero the world knows him to be today, while Suri remains the young adult she was when she left Krypton through Cyro-hibernation. With a desire to restore the house of Zod, for the infamous disgrace it fell into following her father's failed coup, she starts a career as a hero.

In my mind, she has had many adventures, great successes in contrast with spectacular failures. She has grown and evolved in the adventures i have fancied, but never been able to quite share, beyond the glimpse of an occasional render here and there. Recently I've made an arrangement with Doctor Dominator, which was mutually beneficial.

Part of that arrangement was a collaboration, of a character (suri) and the outline of a story (the one you're about to read), that i have always wanted to have written. While the character concept, and the general outline of the story is mine, I give full credit to the word crafting of the story to the good Doctor.

If you like what you read and see, please leave a few words of encouragement. It might help with a follow up sequel to the story.

Batman vs Omega Girl : Dark Knight of the Soul

Story by Doctor Dominator
Story Art and Outline by Angelic Kitten

It was a faulty relay that caused all the trouble. The half-second delay between detecting the stream of nerve gas from Joker's drone and swinging down the gas filters on the cowl's defensive system had allowed one potent puff of gas to infiltrate Batman's nasal passages before the nose filters were fully engaged.

He'd managed to exhale enough through his mouth to prevent a full dosing so the Dark Knight was still able to function. He'd apprehended the Joker in a quickly brutal one-way fight and helped usher the belligerent black-eyed and white-faced criminal through the booking process. He even took the time to escort the police van through the very gates of Arkham Asylum in his Batmobile before heading back to the Batcave secure in the knowledge that the Joker was safely put away for now. But if Gotham's Greatest thought he had dodged a figurative bullet from that gas attack, he was very much mistaken.

Only three hours after the attack, the insidious effects of the nerve gas were making themselves known to Batman's physiology if not his brain. Sitting at the Bat computer, he wiped his sweaty brow with the back of his hand. His breathing rate was elevated and his pupils clearly dilated. His brain was too focused on his task to realize the task itself was an issue of bad judgement.

In order to be ready to go out again if necessary while allowing for easier typing, Bruce had pulled off his gloves and pushed his cowl off his head to rest loosely on his shoulders as he worked. He was still wearing his costume as he feverishly typed away at the keyboard.

"Could be a future threat...not seen in six months...low priority...in jail...out of the country for now...in hiding for years..."

The mug shots of known criminals and pictures of possible troublemakers rushed by with each tap of his forefinger on the forward arrow key as the Caped Crusader urgently processed the many potential threats to his beloved city. Anyone trying to create havoc, to steal, or to endanger the citizens of Gotham would have to answer to the Bat. He'd vowed that on his parent's lost lives so long ago and he wasn't about to break that promise now. The threats were constant and he had to always be on guard, prepared, ready to respond at a moment's notice. A terrorist or a supervillain attack could occur any time, any where. There was no rest for the vigilant.

Bruce licked his lips, his mouth dry, his eyes boring into the screen.

Who would come to endanger Gotham next? Who? Who could be trusted? Who couldn't be?

Omega Girl's picture slid onto the screen. It showed her in mid-flight, rushing down toward the scene of an accident between a vehicle and a bicyclist. Small time stuff indeed. The attached police report said the barely-injured cyclist had attacked the driver with his bicycle pump. Omega Girl had prevented it from escalating further but charges had been pressed by the driver for the assault. The Bat stopped reading the police report and wondered about the pretty face. Was that earnest look hiding something a bit sinister there? She was young, only just turned 19, the daughter of Zod, a renegade Kryptonian general who had almost beaten Superman himself not that long ago. His daughter, named Suri was a known Kryptonian with questionable allegiances. She had already scuffled with Superman who'd passed her off as little more than a confused girl who'd shown poor judgement when he'd tangled with her briefly not too long ago.

Clark might not think the girl represented any trouble but to Bruce, the teenager could be a very real threat. Dealing with an angry Kryptonian of any age could be a recipe for disaster. The brooding defender of justice considered the determined face as he read his file on her. He had files on everyone. It paid to be prepared and his Bat computer was only as good as the information he fed into it.

Omega Girl, Named Suri Zod, secret identity is Sue Lee. Daughter of General C'Sar Zod via his mistress on Krypton. Mistress Tellae-Maz deceased with explosion of Krypton. After arriving on earth on a survey ship, young Suri Zod was placed in an orphanage by Superman in Kyoto Japan. Currently studying biophysics in Kyoto University. Sophomore. Said to reject father's actions. Claims to be peaceful and to stand on the side of justice.

"Well, Omega Girl," Batman declared aloud as he broke off reading the rest of the file for now, "others may buy your claims of innocence but I for one think a more stringent test is called for. You're much too powerful to just let you wander around without some sort of confirmation of your intentions here on Earth. I think I better handle this at the low earth orbit Watchtower station. Everything I need to test the truth of your allegiance to justice is there. Even kryptonite should the need arise." Wiping his sweating brow yet again, Batman begins to plan Omega Girl's arduous test.

<hr>

Omega Girl pulls a tight downward spiral in mid-air just managing to avoid the Phantom Zone ray that would imprison her in a floating void of nothingness for what could be forever. She is sweating profusely as she turns to face her assailant. Arcs of perspiration beneath her breasts cause the silvery Omega symbol on her tight silvery blue tunic to cling tightly to her body. Her skirt is partially torn from a battle that feels like it's been going on forever. Across the street on a rooftop with the skyline of Kyoto behind it, her father faces her. He's bellowing at her with unbridled rage even as he waits for the Zone projector to recharge. His eyes start to glow red at her, about ready to unleash a devastating blast of heat vision.

"You used to love me, to adore me like a hero," He yells over to her. "Now you deny my name and my heritage, you ungrateful bitch! Then suffer the consequences!" The twin beams lance out from his eyes and though she knows they're coming, Omega Girl freezes in place, stunned by his words. She had loved him once. He's right. How did it come to this? And then the beams envelope her face and for a second all Omega Girl sees is the flare of red light blinding her, roasting her eyes, her face, her very brain! The shrieking sound of a siren fills her ears. Her father's revenge burns her to cinders!

Bolting up from her face-down position on her bed, Suri Zod awakes from her nightmare with a start, staring at the beeping alarm clock with absolute fear. Twin lasers from her own glowing red eyes turn the small home appliance to a bubbling pool of plastic that drips off her night stand like warm taffy.

"Oh, hell! That's the second clock this month!" She closes her eyes, takes and breath and slowly wipes the sheen of night sweat off her brow. Then the young Kryptonian with jet black hair rests on her forearms and hangs her head low off her shoulder blades and sullenly contemplates the meaning of her nightmare. Her breasts dangle freely in the translucent white top as she sighs heavily and then gripes, "It's not my fault my father turned out to be an obsessed crazy man! What was I supposed to do? Join him? I don't think so!"

Swinging her body around and planting her two feet on the floor, Suri pads over to the bathroom to pee. Her bikini briefs don't even cover up the top half of her shimmying butt cheeks. She likes to be comfortable when she's in bed, nightmare's notwithstanding. Just after she's finished with the toilet, there's another beeping sound, this one coming from the small necklace on the night table.

"My Justice League alert pendant? What the hell?" She flushes the toilet and then dashes over to the pendant, pressing the tiny comm button on its back. "Uh, hello? Yes, Suri Zod here. Who is this?"

"It's Batman." The gravelly voice says followed by a long silence with just the hum of background static.

"Yes.....and....?" Suri prompts. Does he expect applause?

"You're needed. Here at the low-orbit Watchtower."

"As opposed to the high-orbit Watchtower," she says reflexively.

"What?"

"Nevermind. What's going on? Earthquake? Terrorists? Did a rodent control crew get hold of your cape?"

"Is that supposed to be funny?"

"It's the best I can do at the crack of dawn. Look I'm barely even a probationary rookie to you guys. Isn't there anybody else you can call?"

"Come at once," the irritated voice says and then even the static is gone. He's signed off.

"Gee, isn't he just Mister Warm and Fuzzy. And now I have to miss my morning class. I hope this doesn't take long; college course makeup homework is the worst!"

Despite her trepidation about being called in, Suri is still excited about the summons. And she's never been to the space Watchtower, just the one in Metropolis that one time. A week-long indoctrination and training meeting with her and about four other recruits. She hasn't been on earth all that long so everything feels brand new to her.

After taking a super-speed shower and toweling off, Suri dons her newest costume. It features a long-sleeved silvery blue top with a prominent gray Omega symbol in a diamond shape across her chest. Dark gray tights, silver mid-calf boots and a silken flowing gray belt complete the look of a modern day heroine. Once again at super speed, she opens the sliding door to her barely there 16th floor terrace, closes it behind her and leaps high into the sky heading straight up to the stars still visible in the pre-dawn blackness that surrounds Japan.

Kitten- great prologue! I always love the trope of the heroine waking up and destroying her alarm clock. (I think Jessica Jones did that once?) And the idea of the daughter of Zod being a heroine is a great twist..it's dumb that DC didn't think of it. :) Keep up the sexy adventures!
[I will say, however, that the character does remind me a bit of Cir-El. But I think her character might be dead now in the DC universe right?]

Check out the adventures of my Slavic heroine Devana. I wrote these stories to get into the practice of doing stories for scriptwork.

I'll continue to follow the adventures of Suri.

Thank you. Ive been want to get a story out for Suri forever.

I had an outline for what i wanted to have happen in the story, but Dr. D filled in all the gaps and details, so much of the text story is his hard work.

Should be some neat peril in the next few installments.

We'll see how much interest the character continues to have for Dr. D.

Nice build up. Having Zod daughter as centre character is a great idea. Loved the costume idea. Hope to see a faceoff between her and our dark knight soon.
