Hi all - having had a little time out I've been working on a new project.

In the past I had began various threads of ideas. There was the Project D vault stuff - and the the fetishy multiverse set and I tested the waters with the Party Trap and Reactron The Slutmaster which were, well not my normal kind work. To be blunt none of it was well received and even my written efforts with The Broker have gained little traction. So, back to something more mainstream... here is a little teaser ahead of my next photo story.

Doc, I know I've worked with you a lot but with with the nature of my operating conditions it's not been so easy to do this time - I hope by being on the outside of the loop the not-knowing-the-plot will make it more enjoyable. All I can say is that this one is not exactly like any of my previous work.

I've enjoyed your earlier work (broker, reactron, the original Lillian luthor experiments etc) so looking forward to seeing what you've got planned with this one.

I would normally try for a Saturday/Wednesday pace but being as I am away to Toledo Wednesday and Thursday I thought I'd grace the forum with the next bit ahead of schedule. Besides, having received an uplifting message out of the blue I am feeling a lot more positive today than I have done for a while ...

Yes, beware what lurks in the dark! Thanks for the feedback as always.

On a more technical note I guess it's easier to remove light from a shoot than try and put it in. Still images of this scene being originally shot seems to indicate everything was a lot lighter and it was darkened in post production for the sake of mood. When I began to use images from here to put this short story together I was left with wondering if I should light up the scenery a little, however the darkness helps ease the editing process, so I kept things at their original levels of darkness.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to comment. I notice it's not often that you do so I appreciate you spending a little time on my work.

I would on a cursory inventory suspect there were quite a few fractures on the damage report but while SG complained briefly about perhaps not feeling her legs Bane seemed confident a little sun time would fix that right away. Let's say for now about 10 fractures or breaks... some in the spine, a few ribs and perhaps a cheekbone or two...

I like this series but as dark as it is it's hard to see details.

Hi Tmon, sorry it looks too dark for you. I've rewatched on youtube the original TDKR scene captured by various sources and compared them to the screenshot library I've used to put Supergirl into. The screenshots do seem to pretty much match the movie's lighting levels and the latter part of the fight sequence in the movie happens in deeper darkness after Batman uses an EMP to disable the local lighting... you may recall the whole "Oh you think the darkness is your ally" or something like that. Basically - watching the original scene on your screen would yield a similar experience.

I could try to rework the whole sequence by adjusting the scene brightness but suspect if I did it would end up having to recreate everything from scratch. The need for accuracy of composition was lower than I sometimes do while making these images because the scenes were inherently dark. If I just went back and ramped up the lighting in the scene I think those images would start to reveal glaring inaccuracies - work that I might not want to release unfixed - and I've already invested some time on this story.

My advice - perhaps raise the brightness on your device just a little. It may be your settings are hampering an already dark scene.
