I thought it might be fun to share some panels/panels from mainstream superhero comics (so nothing that's MEANT to be smutty) that give you that special heroine in peril tingle. I'll start by sharing some of mine and hopefully a bunch of you will jump in
((P.S. - it would be cool if we could keep this a positive conversation about things we love and not have it devolve into the same conversation about what certain members of the forum hate about the mainstream comics industry))
This is from Astonishing X-Men. It's Emma Frost using her powers to make herself look like her partner's dead ex. It's such a deeply depraved and kinky use of telepathic powers!
From the same run of Astonishing X-Men. Kitty Pryde clearly accidently phasing naked into the mansion's common room after Colossus made her cum too hard. It's a delicious ENF (embarrassed nude female) moment and the implications of her powers going haywire when she gets off too hard is wonderful!
From the 2004 run of She-Hulk, a wonderful moment of Jen having become such a vapid slut even a seemingly more vapid male model thinks she lacks substance. A good bit of humiliation as someone realizes what they've let themselves become.
From the 2003 run of Runaways. Cloak and Dagger being captured right when they feel like they've got a solid win. Them being so easily taken down by the violation of the mind wipe and their memories being implanted of the hard "teetotal" couple going on a drunken bender is an even more perverse violation.
From the 2012 Hawkeye run. Kate bishop having a moment of triumph not in costume then having her arch-nemesis sneak up on her and deliver that ominous warning before melting back into the crowd. This one REALLY hit me in the right place, especially because it was an older woman creeping on a younger one.
Finally something from the 2017 run of Runaways. It's got the two heroines off being masked vigilantes and not at all trained properly or prepared for it even though they should be powerful enough to take on some mooks. Some good bondage with them being carried off completely helpless to have who knows what happen to them!

Damn, those are some hot pages! That angle/pose of that last panel hits me just right right down to her bare feet! Thanks for the share.
One of my favorite mainstream series for the fetish/tingly stuff is the Bulleteer mini-series in 2006, written by Grant Morrison and draw to very shapely perfection by Yannick Paquette.
Most of the first issue is Alix Harrower (the Bulleteer) in various stages of undress or in the tight metallic sheen of her artificial skin.
The whole idea of Alix's shapely superheroine being encased in that metal skin, and then wearing a tight costume on top of that, is chef's kiss.
There's a subplot that has to do with superheroine fetish (perhaps the only time it has existed as a theme in a mainstream book?)
and another that has to do with a sexy villainess named Sally Sonic whose M.O. is to fuck the husbands of superheroines.
By the final issue, there's also a knock-down drag-out F/F battle between Alix and Sally.
Here are some panels from Issue 1. It's part of the series of books DC put out around that time called "Seven Soldiers of Victory" which revived the name of a Golden Age superhero group.

Special tingle, you say? How about this one?

There’s few, but here’s one; Polaris & Jean Grey get tied up from X-Men Unlimted v1 #6
Just a man who loves powerful ladies in skintight spandex. Tight is right.

A good knockout of time displaced Jean Grey while she's distracted. She was kicking all kinds of ass leading up to this, seeing the tables turned so quickly and "easily" by a heavy hit always gives me that special tingle!
I always liked these two from Detective Comics #401

That is a hella hot cover!
Made me want to go look up the very first comic I ever read that gave me that tingle! I don't often go back before the early 2000's in my reading, so it took me a hot minute to figure out what it was. But I found it and the pages that hit my JUST right when I was still too young to know what exactly I was feeling. It was a New Warriors issue I'd picked up from the discount bin at my local comic shop. It was one of the first comics I ever bought and it was definitely the first bondage/peril I saw or noticed.

I started with TV, so I don't have a cover or panel that got me into peril. But from what was established and what I found to be my favorites even to this day. Also, there are too many to post so I'll go with these for now.

Almost none of them would be made today.
That's why I find this hard to conceive:
But there is some great stuff in the 2000s, too.
For me, it's not all about peril. I also enjoy the hot romance, the strenuous combat, and the transformations.
Here's one that really did it for me, from 52 #12 in 2006.
(There are also a dozen or so transformations of Isis in the 1970s Isis and Shazam comics.)

Because much of the best tingly stuff was before then.

Another one I just ran into. Nice bit of mind control and breeding kinkiness!
(From Avengers Academy)
Picked this up for 50 cents today!
Whatever happened to Tula? (Aquagirl) She's super cute. Any appearances in DC Comics since the New 52? (Nothing in the Aquaman movies, even though she's the half-sister of Orm aka Ocean Master).
