The Superheroine Office Lady Becomes a Slut (Rocket RCTD-117 2018)

I was looking over some JAV stuff again, and as we know, when it comes to superheroine JAV, it's pretty much completely synonymous with GIGA.
Why there aren't any other companies producing SHIP in Japan (are there?), I don't know.

But among all the GIGA videos, I found one lurking which had a different looking serial number, and investigated.
Behold, it's from a different company called Rocket. And after searching, I found that Rocket has produced hundreds of JAV movies, but to my knowledge, only ONE of them was superheroine-based, and it was made back in 2018, starring actress Satori Fujinami. Here's the cover.

Surprisingly, what I found in the slightly unfortunately titled "The Superheroine Office Lady Becomes a Slut" was one of the most entertaining stories in superheroine porn. Unlike with the GIGA videos, there's no corruption and degradation of the main character (not that there's anything wrong with that) ending in distress and defeat.

On the contrary, here the main character has development and a heroine's journey, becoming empowered and improving over the course of the story. That is refreshing. And when an insecure nerd gains power, confidence and sex appeal through a superheroic transformation, that's what I'm looking for in a story like this.

Since the story is long and involved, and since there are a lot of great opportunities for excellent photo stills, I'll be doling out this review over the next couple weeks, one post at a time (since posts have a limit of six photos).

Our tale begins with a dull, nerdy and insecure office worker shuffling papers at her job. Since I'm still not very versed in Japanese (all I can really catch in videos are "watashi", "anata", and "demo"), I'll guess that the very first line of dialogue is her saying "I am Miyabi Kori" so we'll go with calling her Kori for her now (until someone tells me otherwise).

Kori is bumped into by a gruff and pushy man who works in the office, possibly as a boss. She drops all of her papers and is forced to pick them up

Too bad what comes next is a little more disappointing. Her face turns from nerdy into 'beautiful', but it's really not that beautiful. It's just above average. If the production had used a bit more makeup, eyeliner and lipstick, they could have emphasized more clearly how sensual and attractive she has become (Giga videos often make this distinction quite well.)

But that's not the only issue: the top of the costume isn't that tight. In fact, it's very flat - you can't clearly see the outlines of her breasts, let alone the nipples, and there is no cleavage. I don't really think the 'epaulets' help the situation, either, as they are an unnecessary coverup when we could be seeing more of her beautiful skin.

But anyway, here is the full costume, and it's also when we first hear her utter her superheroine name, which I think is "Mashinima" (animated filmmaking?) or maybe it's "Shinma" (truth). I can't exactly tell.

And here you can see the problem with the costume: although the crotch is gorgeous, it's just not tight and/or revealing around the torso. And although her hairdo is cute, they could have spent a bit more time making her superheroine form look really beautiful. In any case, she is ready for action!

Yes, very different. It's not from Giga, it's from a company called Rocket, and it's the only video they did of a superheroine nature.
It seems quirky, funny, sweet, sexy and creative, as if it was done by someone who just decided to dip his toes into the genre without knowing anything about it but having a decent sense of what could be sexy and fun about being a superheroine, while combining it with another genre entirely: that of the "Office Lady". Apparently there's a whole fetish in Japan of turning a prim and proper office girl into a sex maniac (I mean, that's true here as well, but it seems to be a bit more intense in Japan).

The thing is about this particular video is that since there are several superheroine characters, it's more instructive and entertaining to "show" the story rather than just tell it by critique. But don't worry, I'll get to the critical evaluation by the end!
