That's unfortunate. I would have liked to have seen a modern take on the classic Buffy series. We rarely ever get an explanation from execs on why these projects don't go forward.

I think if folks are going to pick Paramount in this drama, the question has to be, based on what, with "Thanks Dad" Ellison at the helm. Ellison's kid is the great unknown at this point. It's funny. Before WBD went up for sale, folks seemed to think media consolidation might be the answer...

I wish the best for any actor or celebrity, regardless of their political views, that mindset is one that almost all rational, reasonable people used to share before social media and cancel culture warped people's minds. It's nice to see the tide turning back towards sanity again.

Yes, Loni Anderson was beautiful. Besides WKRP, I remember having a brief arc on Melrose Place, playing Pamela Anderson's mom on the show "VIP". Loni Anderson was certainly a TV sex symbol of the 1970's and 80's, the kind they won't let us have anymore, sadly.

OK, to try to veer this discussion away from the needless politicization of the question, I think a lot of the frustration isn't that SHIP is dead or dying as much as the hopes among many that the genre hasn't grown to the extent that many may have hoped, it never really exploded.
