Re: golden woman vs dark girl
I like this a lot! It's kinda poorly executed in a lot of ways though. Makes me sad that there's no decent superheroine focused brawler game.

Re: Marvel/DC vs Ms. Americana types
In addition to being safer from legal threats, I also find analog characters more interesting as a concept. They're instantly recognizable as being (loosely) based on the Marvel and DC originals, but they're not bogged down with mainstream continuity. This gives producers more freedom and flexibili...

Re: Favorite Type of Supeheroine Outfit
Titan Icon ? whats that ? Explained earlier in the thread with download links, but to put it all in one place, it's a famously detailed character creator for a now defunct superhero game. The download for windows is here and the mac download is here . I figured it's a decent resource to show your f...

Re: Favorite Type of Supeheroine Outfit

Couple of City of Heroes designs I did just now in Titan Icon. Like I said, it's ok, dated but a bunch of options in there.

Re: Favorite Type of Supeheroine Outfit
Small update, I got Titan Icon running. Short review: It's decent, but has its limits. The download for windows is here and the mac download is here . Just follow the links and run the installer. Everything after the character creator is a bit broken since it's based on a now dead MMO with no server...

Re: Favorite Type of Supeheroine Outfit
Any decent costume design thingies lying around that people like? There's this http://www.dolldivine.com/x-girl.php Champions Online is a free MMO that you can download and use as a costume builder. There's also a standalone character creator for (the no longer running) City of Heroes called Titan I...

Re: Christina Carters-What shall I do next??
Well, since it is fantasy... anything can happen. Even WW winning against someone with more strength and power. I'd love a script where Wonder Woman actually wins in the end... anyone want to write it?? I would totally do this, but I'm not sure what would be most useful. What kind of format, length...

Re: Champions Online/other games
Separating look from mechanical effect always infuriates nerds. I don't know why, but it does. So I'm not surprised that nobody has done it, even after hearing it suggested, but obviously I'd rather have it your way. I've heard nothing but good things about Marvel Heroes Omega Are you stuck playing ...

Re: Champions Online/other games
One thing that blunts my enthusiasm about the new SuperHero MMO's coming up is that none of them seem to have anything really new to add to the genre. They are basically re-making the old games with slightly newer technology and perhaps even making some of the same mistakes, which is disappointing....

That's fantastic. Do you have a place you post your art?
Edit: and seconds later I just click the link, ok. Well, it's still really good.

Re: Directing - perhaps a question for only producers
Speaking as someone who hasn't done specifically what you're doing, but has done a bunch of super amateurish video projects, the issue is time. If they're getting paid X dollars to show up for Y thing, you're good. But obviously your budget isn't infinite, so you're kind of encouraged to show up, sm...

I've had this happen too. Logged in as someone else, couldn't log out (because I wasn't logged in as them actually, got an error) and similar.

Re: Are they getting a bit too close to us?
And yes my other concern is when SJWs set their sights on this industry "to make it better". I've been in various extremely niche areas for decades. There has been no sudden, recent explosion of people with liberal positions on social issues. There HAS been a sudden, recent explosion of p...

Test

It looks like your problem is fixed, but for future reference getting offsite hosting (I like imgur) and using tags is probably reliable.

Re: Champions Online/other games
I've heard nothing but negative things about DCUO, but I suspect it's a case of loot crate/loot treadmill/token farming/pay to not wait more than it is a criticism of the game's ability to provide cute costumes and punching. May look into it. I think all of the upcoming ones are from itty bitty stud...

Re: Champions Online/other games
Ah yeah, I have tried SL, but my end conclusion was that it was really hard to get a nice looking avatar without throwing down a ton of money, and that second life rp consisted of a good ten hours of sitting around waiting for every decent scene. It's a great idea, but I didn't enjoy it at all.

Champions Online/other games
Anybody play Champions Online? I've poked around with it quite a bit, so here's my take: Pros: -free -costume creator has a ton of options -you will eventually be paired with/stumble on a player with a hilarious or well done name or costume -decent number of options for powers -gets attention from t...
