Superheroine Dream
Anyone know what's up with that guy? He never released the rest of the videos he was filming. He's a mad genius!

He is referring to the fact that Wildcat promised monthly releases, sold a monthly subscription to his site, then went radio silent for 5 months, no updates, no new films and from the comment section appears to also not be doing much customer support for people with purchase issuesHiDef wrote: ↑2 months agoHe released everything on his website: https://superheroinedream.com/channels/ ... 00002/home

Don't take the bait though - if you criticize Wildkat CIA will attack you personally. IMO keeping people guessing indefinitely is the true sign of a 'Wild genius'

Okay, thanks for the heads up, I don't know much about Wildkat and even less about CIA. I've only been a member here for a short time. I vaguely remember Wildkat promising a supergirl film and then disappeared for while. I believe he finally made good on his promise because I see a supergirl series in his releases. That's about all I know about his studio.SHL wrote: ↑2 months agoHe is referring to the fact that Wildcat promised monthly releases, sold a monthly subscription to his site, then went radio silent for 5 months, no updates, no new films and from the comment section appears to also not be doing much customer support for people with purchase issuesHiDef wrote: ↑2 months agoHe released everything on his website: https://superheroinedream.com/channels/ ... 00002/home

Re: Superheroine Dream
He's doing the same thing he always does where he lays out a big rolling plan of content, delivers some of it, then goes dark for months before releasing the rest of it. The only difference is that now he's allowing people to pay a monthly fee for literally nothing while he figures out what he's doing.... which is nuts, in my opinion.
I was skeptical of the structure of his new site but curious to see how it'd work out. He kind of blew it.
PSA for anyone who goes to that site and considers the monthly membership. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT. You get literally nothing. Access to the videos is separate from the membership. The membership only gets to access to a second discussion board where you can suggest scenes/alternate endings to videos (which is pointless, since he's MIA and nothing is happening).

Thanks for the explanation. That's exactly what I was looking for. It's unfortunate as I think he has immense talent and produces some of the best quality videos in the genre.bbsucks wrote: ↑2 months agoHe's doing the same thing he always does where he lays out a big rolling plan of content, delivers some of it, then goes dark for months before releasing the rest of it. Re: Superheroine Dream
I will also warn that if you want to watch the videos, buy them at your own risk. You can definitely buy them and you can definitely watch them, HOWEVER.
1. The owner of the site is, like, completely MIA. If you buy a video and have an issue, I don't believe it will be resolved, and you will likely not get refunded either because he needs to approve refunds, which he's not around to do. I submitted a refund request when I bought the membership and realized it wasn't doing anything and it was eventually rejected after several days of nothing, and I suspect it had just timed out, completely unread.
2. When you buy a video on this site, you don't actually get anything you can download. You get access to stream the video for 1 year. Considering how absent the guy is, I don't even know if he still exists. I don't know anything about how this website is hosted or paid for. I could totally see a world where the site goes down or stops working and you can't actually access your stuff. This is a possibility that might never happen. But nobody is home. You never know.
Otherwise, as far as I know, buying videos (or... temporary access to stream them) does work and playing videos does work (though I haven't bought one since he went MIA since I have them all, already). Just know that you're taking a risk.

Re: Superheroine Dream
WIldKat finally posted an update (with images of Supergirl, Superwoman and Black Scorpion): https://superheroinedream.com/channels/ ... sts/539258
Hello, this is Wildkat.
I am breaking the long silence to greet you once again.
First, I sincerely apologize for not being able to share any updates over the past few months. I fully understand how much concern and anticipation you must have felt during this time. However, today I am here not only to offer my apologies but also to meet your expectations with exciting news.
During this silent period, I was far from idle. On the contrary, I have been preparing for a greater leap forward.
Some of you may have worried about my well-being or even thought I might have given up on this genre.
But those who have followed my journey know well that I am not one to give up so easily.
As I have said many times before, I firmly believe in the potential of this genre and remain committed to growing this industry. Driven by this conviction, I have been working tirelessly to pave the way for something extraordinary.
Now, after this period of preparation, it is time to announce a new beginning.
Through the upcoming works I will be introducing, I hope to share the new possibilities I have envisioned.
In the first half of 2025, we will unveil the new projects I have been working on.
Thank you for your patience and trust.
Let’s embark on this new journey together.
Re: Superheroine Dream

Re: Superheroine Dream
Great to Have WildKat back but I'm afraid if he does not start listening to suggestions, etc, he is simply not going to do well and ruin his opportunity to create a leading genre site vs just another site. First and foremost, by "being busy" as he claims, but also being silent on his site, including to those who paid for memberships, he simply damaged people's trust and that will ultimately cost him money. While he may be enjoying producing, he is in this for the money as well. So my first STRONG suggestion to WK is to post updates no less than every 2 weeks, post content regularly if you want people to pay for memberships, and make sure your online purchase and play mechanisms are working 24 / 7. Because if you spend all this time and money producing but people do not trust you or your site enough to purchase, then the money and the potential is going out the window.
And yes, I'm fully aware that the genre enjoys having another producer. So save me the "I dont care what he makes", etc comments, I know we like content period. The genre has numerous producers in it now to also produce competition for the dollars people spend in the genre. From a business standpoint, and since he is still relatively new, if he can maximize the "details" of his videos in addition to what I wrote above, then he can leap to the top of the genre vs being just another different style with ok quality and content. And he can do this with little more investment than what he s spending now, yet probably sell 2x-3x of what he will sell without the details enhancements. I'll post suggestions again in another reply. Certainly everyone else is welcome to do the same.

Re: Superheroine Dream
So as a producer creates and sells video after video, I assume they get better at their craft..... camera angles, quality, editing, costumes and stage, story lines, etc. If selling well, he also gets more money to spend, hopefully not wasting it on non sales producing aspects, but enhancing future films with aspects that enhance his return on investment. Its really no different than all those house flipping shows we see on TV these days. When your fixing or building a house for resale, you concentrate and only spend money on aspects and installs that have a return on investment vs for your own home where you can paint a wall purple if you want but don't expect that purple wall will help you sell your house one day.
So while trying to tell a producer to simply spend more in the beginning is unfair to them, but spending minor dollars, on ket aspects, more on "DETAILS" early on and continuously can reap multiple in profits for films that have a longer life and continue to be sought after by new consumers entering the genre.
Allow me to suggest: While the superheroine genre specializes in the fantasies surrounding comic book ladies, peril, helplessness, being defeated, etc (this we all know), it contains within in it sub genre's that support the main genre. Superheroine costumes, beauty, sexuality, etc are are supported by the things that drive men's desires outside the genre as well. Tight clothes, short skirts, high heels, boots, gloves, latex, leather, attractive looks and hair, bust lines, legs, etc, etc.
1. So when I see a producer like WK using masks that look like they came out of a part city halloween costume for children, I feel bad because for a few dollars more, he could have utilized a rubber / latex wide eyed mask that enhances the actress' sexuality vs the silly mask he used (ie TBFE Tabula Rasa like mask vs WK's upcoming UM mask). Small dollar upgrade yet huge upgrade in the attractiveness of the heroine and thereby the quality and popularity of the whole film. So in the sub genre of people who like films with masks, which one do you think they would buy? Small dollar upgrade, made back many times over in popularity of the film.
2. Costume materials. I'm willing to bet that a producer that uses a cloth costume vs a fakes leather / latex costume see's a marked difference in interest and sales with the fake leather / latex. I'm sure a vegan leather costume costs more, but how many more videos would you have to sell to make up for the difference in cost.....2-3 if that? And how many more would you sell as a result of that change?
3. costume details that enhance sexuality....zippers, belts, cleavage, gloves. what would investing is several pairs of zippered leather gloves in different colors, over the elbow type, cost a producer leveraged across possibly hundreds of films over time? Yes for the sub genre fetish of glove interest or leather, would that sell your film to more consumers? Would your film than be featured as a "gotta get it" film in a completely different fetish genre in addition to the one your producing for? Small dollars leveraged across many films equals more sales because more interest, and more sexy. If your filming anyway, just like some producers add a detailed scene of a costume part removal, would the same 2-3 min close up sell more videos to that glove sub genre?
You can see de booting is already a sought after aspect listed by producers when its present in their film. one small 2 min clip close up draws another fetish to the movie yet also enhances it for the fetish it was originally produced for as well. Small cost, decent return.
Boots as well. There is a guy "Bertoni" that made a fortune producing videos of gals wearing high fashion leather, latex, and mainly stiletto boots before porn became so pervasive on the internet. While I know some people like the chunky lower heel shoes and boots, the stiletto thin high heel is considered the most sexy. And Bertoni leveraged expensive high fashion leather boots (Thigh high, etc) and shoes across hundreds of videos, And the sexiness of those higher quality items drove the interest in his videos and site. Close up shots of bondage, etc, his site and videos are like a "how to" lesson for any producer in fetish genre's. Which would sell more to boot fetish genre's, stiletto high heels, chunky low, leather or leather looking vs plastic looking? WK obviously spent money on the costumes already....but these small details, and mistakes in my opinion, simply cost him money in potential sales, and set a lower quality tone for what people will expect from him.
I can keep going. Maybe another time. Listen any producer can make what they want, their style, their vision. But since they are selling these videos, and production has a cost, they are clearly trying to produce the best product for the market (sell more). You either follow some of the rules where the money is or you don't. There will always be room for a producers style and creative differences across companies. But certain aspects need to be included like standard parts. I don't see anyone producing high selling superheroine videos using 90 year old grandma's wearing a nightgown right? So lets all agree that certain standard aspects sell better than others.

As a fellow boot guy, I feel your stiletto vs chunky heel issue, I got immensely turn on by stiletto heels myself, and I am also a fan of Bertoni work (I love how he uses bondage and boots with fashion together, that was early 2000, nobody else does that, now you have a lot of copycat,) but after talking to a producer here who uses both stiletto boots and chunky heel, she told me it's very hard to walk on, let alone run and fight, in stiletto, most girl she uses have a hard time just walking on 5 inch stiletto heels, they can't run nor fight, unless you want them to be static and just stand around and look sexy, it's not really an option for superhero genre.Robertteams wrote: ↑1 week ago

Chunky heels give these girl more area to stand on and allow them to move around and fight easier.
On the other hand, I have a similar issue with producer using cloth costume, especially for accessories like gloves. I can't imagine it's hundred bucks difference using satin gloves or latex gloves vs clothes glove. For example, this is from one of MH video
I don't understand why Batgirl (forgot the name of that actress) wear clothes gloves while Knightwoman (Play by Emily Addison) uses satin gloves, IMO Batgirl would look a lot sexier if her gloves are also satin. Maybe MH can share some light on the costume choice??

Re: Superheroine Dream
Yes, the yellow gloves tend to get a little washed out once the video is compressed. Maybe they would stand out a little more in 4K.
But also they are shorter so that might have something to do with it.
Also that cape is really satin-y as well but the sheen doesn't really show through on the video. I'll get around to remastering it one day.
Also, about boots, what the other producer said was totally true. Trying to get decent fight scenes or any kind of movement in stilettos is really hard. Luckily, a lot of the models that I used in LA were used to walking around in them so they did a decent job. Of all the boots that are used for superheroines, I liked the stilettos myself.
But sometimes it comes to down to supply. The stiletto boot wasn't offered in as many colors as the "gogo" boot with the chunky heel. Based on your character's colors, you had to make a decision on which to use.

Re: Superheroine Dream
All great points. And let me reiterate, I love any producer that is trying to create a product in the marketplace. I'm not picking on or trying to rain on anyone's parade. I just thought the rules of profits is to follow the money...at least first. Once your making money. you have more freedom to experiment or follow your own style completely (whether it sells or not).
I read the whole stiletto vs action remarks and while its completely understandable and common sense, it can be done through editing , changes to wardrobe, slowing action down and then speeding up the film, etc. But anyways, I think I got my point across. In general, follow the money, follow where most of the demand aspects are for consumers, spending little more in key places can greatly expand your profits, etc.
I'm also a great fan of leveraging a single day of filing, or two, across multiple films or multiple versions of films. Example: One or two of the producers of SHG-media have "cream pie" scenes where the heroine is basically drowned in cream pies. So I get the whole "disgraced" angle, I do. But I can tell you, I never bought one of those films because I just didn't think those scenes belonged. Now, is there a pie in the face fetish.....PROBABALLY. So might that producer have sold a few more of the films due to that fetish....MAYBE. But I think the best way to handle using more fetish angles in a film is to have multi version where you edit in or replace changes in scenes to an already existing full movie . Sell it as version B with those changes and fetish angles, and then you can leverage 1 movie into 3-4 versions and appeal to a wide range of fetishes, all while having filmed it once. Just another smart money angle.

Re: Superheroine Dream
And regarding Bertoni, or many producers, if your going in the business of producing any sort of porn, soft or hard core, there is so much industry data to tell you exactly what to do, how to do it, and what works from day 1. You can see what Bertoni did, and how he invested in higher end footwear, leveraged it for years, and made a fortune because of the enhanced sexuality partially provided by those high end boots. And these days, the amount of sexy clothes, shoes, etc available is 10 x vs year 2000. And thats just to satiate all the instagram hotties trying to get you to follow them.
I think I wrote once before, SHC is a fantastic model of how to create new characters, sexuality, situations, and profit. That guy made (makes) so much money that he eventually just walked away for 75% of the work to produce new stuff.

Wardrobe shenanigans. I remember doing this stuff. We had one pair of calf boots we spray painted like 8 times for different colors. And we had to use a different pair for fights that had the heels chopped off OR the entire foot removed and she was in sneakers with the boot and a calf sleeve and we just avoided shooting down. Plenty of our shoots had boot swaps ie white boots then light blue boots with zipper on the side. We also had to get boots bigger than the girl cause she would have to wear two layers of socks cause they would cramp feetMightyHypnotic wrote: ↑1 week agoYes, the yellow gloves tend to get a little washed out once the video is compressed.

Yeah, he's back. Which is fun. I like his stuff so I'll always check it out when he releases it.
Bold that he just stopped delivering on the membership for that site while continuing to keep recurring payments open and then just didn't even mention that in his message about being back. The guy kind of doesn't get it. I'm skeptical about his ability to take that thing anywhere. But here's hoping!

I think the genre enjoys everyone that produces anything. But yes, I don't think he gets it at all as what is the purpose to be filming 5-6-7 movies and at the same time disappears for 6 months without a word. He is not doing himself any favors.bbsucks wrote: ↑1 week agoYeah, he's back. Which is fun. I like his stuff so I'll always check it out when he releases it.

Some producers are part time and have day jobs.

That's totally fine. The thing I'm saying he's doesn't get is how people might be miffed that they paid for multiple months of a membership service where they got absolutely nothing for it and he's just not mentioning that.
I work a job and don't have time to mow peoples' lawns for them. Thus I do not sell people a lawn mowing service.
Re: Superheroine Dream
Exactly! Does he still have paying subscribers? Is anyone suffering from the delusion that this eccentric is going to share his profits with his subscribers, one day? Let him buy his own coffee and pay for his own meals. There were bumperstickers back in the days when girls would hitchhike to get where they needed to go. Here's two that I remember, "Put out or get out!" and "Gas, grass or ass - nobody rides for free".bbsucks wrote: ↑4 days agoThat's totally fine. Re: Superheroine Dream
Who me? What part, the bumperstickers or all of it?
The gist of it is, that I agree with you. I can't fathom why anyone would still be a paying subscriber to a site that does not offer content on at least a monthly basis.

This seems to happen with subscribe star, patreon and pixiv sites as well. People join and the author rarely updates or updates only the 1st of the month. I can see subscribing to merely support the author but at some point its a waste of money.bbsucks wrote: ↑4 days agoThat's totally fine.
