RIP Loni Anderson (1945-2025)

Actress Loni Anderson has passed away at age 79.

She was best known for her role as Jennifer Marlowe on the sitcom WKRP in Cincinatti, which ran from 1978 to 1982.

She also teamed up with Lynda Carter to play amateur detectives on the series Partners in Crime in 1985.

Yes, Loni Anderson was beautiful. Besides WKRP, I remember having a brief arc on Melrose Place, playing Pamela Anderson's mom on the show "VIP". Loni Anderson was certainly a TV sex symbol of the 1970's and 80's, the kind they won't let us have anymore, sadly.

Loni was a bit like Barbara Eden in the sense she was the almost surreally perfect beautiful blond of the 1970s. big smile, big hair, big... Any way, she was a beautiful lady that added to fodder to my adolescence... RIP
