Are SHIP films Scripted?

Question for SHIP film producers. Watching SHIP films, one thing I have always been curious about is whether SHIP films are mostly scripted. The thought occurs to me that these folks are not classically trained actors schooled in script memorization, from my totally uninformed ignorant perch as a SHIP film consumer who has no idea how these things are made, I wonder that if instead of scripts, producers have a rule of do's and SHIP dont's they impart on the actors, perhaps they lay out parameters, scenarios for scenes, but largely let the actors color inside the lines for themselves instead of scripting every line in the SHIP film. I was just curious.

I think most, if not all are scripted.

When I made them they were more of a grocery list than scripted. I had a rough outline but it was checking off boxes and including fetish scenes.

If you are asking about SHIP in totality (including all the stuff you find on clips sites like Clips4sale) then the majority of it is not scripted, if anything probably just a short list of bullet points to hit.

If you are asking about the more intensely produced films that are shot in studios, I’d say at least %50 percent of them are scripted.

Speaking for myself, all my films have a script. My LoFi series usually is more a bullet point list.

I can’t talk for anyone but me, but my movies are always completely scripted. Writing is one of the things I have always really enjoyed doing. And I find it even better if I have some time to write revisions, but that isn’t always possible. Then again, I’m pretty ridiculously anal about this sort of stuff. Years ago, I actually created style sheets in Microsoft Word that I use to format the scripts properly when I’m writing them (see attachment). I’m not sure how many people go to that sort of length - but I think it helps people with their lines.

Some gals are great at remembering lines (Diana Knight), and some are completely incapable of remembering anything, but you can generally get through it, if it is not too complicated. Unfortunately, my scripts tend to get pretty complicated… oops.

I don’t think you can expect people to come up with great dialogue on the day, not that is going to work cohesively, and flow. I haven’t seen it in all the time I’ve been doing this…. But that’s just my .02.

Wow, those scripts are beyond legendary, Jim. Need to be under a glass case in a museum! (Where, of course, Diana Knight's character can steal them like in a Batman caper)

For me, our regular productions are 90% scripted and 10% ad-libbed (actions or phrases added by the actress).
Our customs, of course, are whatever the customer wants, within reason, so sometimes it starts out as 'bullet points' but it always gets fleshed
out into a formal script, again with some measure of ad-libbing.
I like the actresses to have fun while they're taping, so if they have something to contribute, if it makes sense to include it, we do.

Sometimes, for fun, I would try to get the girls to say something stupid just to crack them up.

Or we had a running joke from futurama. When the girls weren't getting it right we would pretend yell at them "you're not acting hard enough!!"

Ooh.. tantalizing... You always had a flair for dialog. I have stolen a couple of phrases from your Perils of Batgirl stories. "poe-gasm" is one that jumps to mind.

Not had the pleasure of making any BDSM heroine videos, but expecting model to come up with witty banter on the fly is not realistic. If you have someone that you has been role playing a character for a long time, maybe they will come up with something clever in the moment, but I don't think it realist strategy when the girls are charging by the hour.

I bet the biggest advantage of a ball gag is it limits the number of lines a girl can mess up while having her pussy rubbed.

SHIP movies are not usually fully scripted; instead, they have a structure and some pre-prepared elements to make them interesting. If you like the freedom in gaming, try Snow Rider 3D for exciting snow races in vivid 3D environments!

It's an interesting question, bushwackerbob! The blend of structured scenarios with the actors’ improvisation might create that unique charm we see in SHIP films. While they may not be fully scripted, it allows for genuine moments that resonate well with the audience. Speaking of creativity, have you checked out Block Blast? It offers a fresh take on content creation that might inspire filmmakers.
