Sniper actually sounds like a good idea as mentioned above. Sexy heroine patrolling a rooftop at night, never hears the shot and gets taken right off her feet with the blast. Of course her costume stops her from being killed but taking the shot hurts like hell and keeps her on her back for a good long while, long enough time for the villain to find her and tie her up while she's stunned/dazed.

The client wants to call her Catwarrior but will change it if someone comes up with something better.
This will also be a connected to the Wondra video where our heroine will take on Mace, (the Bane like character in Wondra). The costume will be based on the Anna Hathaway's cat woman costume.
So far in the script we have: carrying, a bear hug that results in a broken back, de-masking, fighting and in the extreme version strangling. Any other suggestion are welcomed. This will be shot next month and an actress has already been chosen.
Make note, there will be no porn, no rape and this time no topless. This will be shot and edited like a movie/TV show, the tone will be dark and we do not do cheesy. This is a small shoot, one location with the characters Jack and Mace returning from the Wondra video, we are also looking for anyone who lives in the UK/London to play henchmen.
Will keep you guys informed as we go along, comments on this project are welcome.
Bear hug, broken back, Anne Hathaway costume, strangling. Well this sounds great!
As for names... the best I've got is 'The Cat'

Sad about no Batgirl, but Catwoman sounds good. While basing it on Hathaway, you should make the costume, and Mace's, differ from the movie enough to keep certain parties off your back. But overall this sounds awesome.

Any way you can have a shot where her mask breaks? Perhaps Mace hits her in the head repeatedly which causes her mask to crack. Or even have him break it after removing it.

I can't really blame Bluestone if it's a custom. I was just all super excited when this poll came out, and then again when Batgirl won...and then it was all tossed to the wayside for a video with the character who placed last in the poll.
Yes, Catwoman can be hella sexy if done right. But she's almost NEVER done right. And she's so overdone. And honestly, there aren't enough high quality Batgirl vids in my opinion. And Huntress vids are non-existant, except for one producer...who, while I will not name them, I feel they have never read the character, ever.
Yvonne Craig style Batgirl's are EVERYWHERE, and I was looking forward to a darker toned Batgirl film. Along the lines of Batgirl: Spoiled, if possible.
IDK. If they do Catwoman well, awesome. I'm just skeptical, because I haven't seen her done well. Ever. Every Catwoman I've ever seen on this forum is either half assed or some horny lesbian villain that doesn't portray the actual character accurately in any form.

Fair enough man. I agree with you that the whole lesbian villainess Catwoman thing is really lame. However, I have complete confidence in Bluestone that they're going to make this one dark and violent. Especially considering they are basing the characters on their particular film versions. I'm sure they will do Batgirl when they can - as they said they had to postpone it.
Batgirl: Spoiled had awesome costumes and a hot lead, but I personally felt pretty uncomfortable watching what was obviously a peril movie disguised as something to reach a more vanilla audience on YouTube. I guess I didn't agree with, or see the reasoning behind certain "decisions" they made. I digress about that though since this is a Bluestone thread.

That's putting it mildly. 75% of the producers advertising here have either never read a comic book, or haven't picked up a comic book in years and only know the characters from TV and movies. Which does explain why you keep getting the same damn characters over and over, since Batgirl, WW, Supergirl, and Catwoman are the big four TV/Movie superheroine icons. Their exposure to the characters is strictly from the media, and they are trying to capitalize on a emerging niche market because of the popularity of superheroes in movies now.
As for that producer that makes the Huntress videos, I at least give them credit since they've been improving the costume over time, and at least it's not the shitty store bought Batgirl/Supergirl/Wonder Woman costumes that everyone's been lamenting.
So, if this was a custom video anyway, what was the point of making this poll? Publicity?

I don't know why producers use copyrighted characters anyway since they are risky to use. I personally like made up heroines.
Another reason those 4 characters are used is because the public recognizes them the most and they can be debilitated fairly easily. Supergirl with kryptonite (whole fetish there of weakening etc), WW with any anesthetic or a blow to the head. Batgirl and Huntress can be KOed anyway a human can. There are whole fetishes revolving around weakening and KOing especially of Supergirl and Wonder Woman. So I don't think its just the producers only knowing 4 characters.
Marvel has plenty of heroines but less well known. Few people know Mockingbird or Black Widow or Black Cat. How do you disable Ms. Marvel? She Hulk? And costumes are problematic. WW and Supergirl costumes can be had even if they are cheap halloween knock offs. Yeah I suppose one can tape or silk screen a lightning bolt onto a leotard for Ms. Marvel.
Just nice to see this niche fetish has grown so much.

This sounds like more of a beatdown movie with minimal, if any, sexual peril. But bondage would be great. And if you can get away with any over the clothes breast fondling, that would be awesome. And for the fight, maybe some punches to the breasts, if it can be done well. A kick to the crotch is never a bad idea either.
I'm also partial to the type of scenes where the heroine is trying to crawl away, and gets kicked in the stomach by her adversary.
And I'm sure you have this planned already, considering who your villain is. But a backbreaker is totally a necessity.

3 things:
1) At the beginning of the video, Catwoman should be in charge and in control, almost as if the 'Bane' character is just a stupid henchman of hers - she might get close and flirty with him occasionally, but she should never suspect him to turn on her.
2) For the backbreaker, please do an extended shot of her just being completely limp and lifeless in his arms, especially with a camera angle from behind her, showing her head hanging back and wide open mouth and closed, relaxed eyes (a few extra squeezes while she's out would also be nice).
3) Please don't end the video with her eyes open - I almost feel a separate poll should be done on this, but I've never been a fan of open eyes when the heroine is supposed to have been permanently defeated. Closed eyes and wide open mouth is so much better than just staring into space (and if he's supposed to do her in with a rope or whip, eyes closed and tongue lolling out would be 100 times better than open eyes).

I would have to vote against doing anything strange with the tongue as an above poster said. The way you guys did it in Wondra was fine (eyes closed of course). As far as my requests go:
1. Face slap/body punch after she's been strangled. She won't react to it. Essentially, Mace is making sure she's defeated.
2. Mace kicking her boots after she's been strangled. Same concept as above.
3. During the fight, Mace grabs her by the front of her costume, stretching it a bit as he lifts her off the ground to throw another punch.
I also agree with d00lin to have her limp in Mace's arms for the backbreaker/bearhug.

Sorry LeeCarl, we do not do sexual peril, bondage or breast fondling, there's other production companies that do that kind of stuff. We might do a kick to the crotch - I wonder if you saw Wondra, if you did you'd know we do not do porn, this video will be of the same tone as Wondra.
Here's another pic of the actress.
PLEASE, IF YOU KNOW HER REAL NAME DO NOT WRITE IT IN THIS FORUM.
If you need to refer to her please refer to her as Mink.
Thank you.
I completely respect you desire to not do porn. But, as a peril fan, I feel I do need to specify that bondage hardly constitutes sexual peril. At least not any more so than Yvonne Craig's Batgirl or Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman. And while I totally get not wanting to do over-the-clothes fondling of the chest, I also feel the need to defend this as "not pornography". If light over the clothes caressing constituted porn, then 1984 (which included both bondage, and a scene of over the clothes fondling) would be classified as porn (which they are not).
And I can't personally blame Lee Carl for not making the distinction that you don't do sexual peril, because numerous clips on your nicheclips store, including Wondra, feature topless nudity. In my opinion, at least, this constitues porn more than light bondage or specifically over-the-clothes light fondling.
Now, I completely respect that you don't want to do those aspects. But as far as I'm concerned, any pictures or videos featuring topless women can be construed as porn. Is it extreme in any fashion? No. But many people, including myself, and maybe others on this board, would consider Wondra a form of porn, even if you do not.

No offense, but if it's a custom video for a private customer, why does it even matter what the the general public wants? The poll was completely ignored since the customer wanted a certain character anyway, and then to ask for suggestions from people and then keeping telling them they can't ask for this or that because it's a commission is just a waste of everybody's time.
Just make the video the way that customer requested, since it seems like there's already too many chefs in the kitchen for this video. I don't even know why that customer would let the public decide what goes in the video anyway, unless he doesn't know about it or he gave you carte blanche, which I find hard to believe that's the case. Once you're done filming and editing, just let people know what sort of content is in it, this way no one can complain about being cheated out of their money when they buy it.

This, exactly.
Just film what you're going to film according to the client's specifications, since this is a custom. Asking for ideas and suggestions from the public, both in the poll, and from asking what peril we want, seems sort of fruitless, as you seem to already know exactly what you will and won't do.
This way, your client is happy. If others buy it, great. If not, no big loss. At least that way, you won't have people upset over misleading polls and their peril suggestions being shot down for not being what the client wants or not being "that kind of movie".

I have to agree that this seems more like a marketing tactic than actually incorporating our suggestions. If this a custom, then there really is nothing we could say that would change the final product, unless the customer is reading our posts instead of the producer. My thought is why not make a video for the general peril loving public after this project is complete? That way it would actually feel like our suggestions matter.

According to an earlier Blueharvest post on this page the original customer backed out which is why the poll results were ignored as the second customer wanted a Catwoman type character.
Let's not attribute any cynical marketing mischief when in fairness a reason for the switch to Catwoman was offered in regards the poll, and asking what people's preferences are I think its fair enough and if the customer is happy to have it then it can be incorporated and if nothing else it gives the producer a better idea of what will sell. We just have to accept that not everything suggested will get a look in.

I totally agree. It would appear some people have not read (or have forgotten) some of the discussion that has gone before.
I totally support and applaud =D> Bluestone seeking the input of "the community" as to what people like/dislike. I suspect producers receive customer requestd for custom videos that vary from very vague right through to minutely detailed down to the smallest detail, so in the case of a vague brief, "what the customer wants" may not be all that restricting.
Obviously not every suggestion is going to make the "cut", but even thoes that don't, but that fit Bluestone's style, are being filed away for future use, as, I am sure, is the reults of the poll.
On a couple of other points raised recently :-
Fight - the more brutal, the better - plenty of gut and crotch hits for my taste
Eyes open or shut - not that I am an expert, or anything, but logically, a victim strangled is going to pass out before they die, so realistically the eyes would be shut, but, eyes open visually makes the distinction between the victim being unconcous and being dead (and would be the case if their neck was snapped in the course of being strangled). Artistically, I prefer "eyes open" as it add a degree of "finality" to the scene.
Back-breaker - the one in Wondra was too short - the victim should be held on the knee longer, and possibly a double fist pound into her wonderfully exposed belly once or twice before she rolls off onto the floor - what villan could resist such an inviting target

Hi All,
Sorry for not posting earlier on this thread, but I've been busy with my own murder/crime genre shoots.
BlueHarvest has explained why we have gone ahead with the Catwoman-type video above despite the poll, but many of you still seem confused as well as cynical. We had a customer who was going to co-fund a Batgirl video with me. When he decided to pull this video project from the public domain, coupled with the problems that I encountered with the Wondra video, I opted to do a Catwoman-styled video which I have fully funded. So, I am the customer! Having said that, although there are aspects that I wanted in the video, I also wanted suggestions from the community, so that as many as possible could be incorporated into the filming. It was NOT a marketing ploy at all, simply an opportunity for you, the fans, to have some input into the video.
Finally, I am not an opportunistic producer who knows nothing about superhero/superheroine comics. In fact, I daresay that my comic book collection and knowledge rivals that of many of you here. My collection of superhero/superheroine comics stretches from the 1940's to the present, and, yes, I have read them.
Should "Catwarrior" be as successful as "Wondra", I will do more, and a Batgirl-styled video would be next, followed by Huntress, Black Widow, and who knows what other sexy superheroines. I consider the X-Men ladies to be some of the sexiest superheroines of all... but, I'm getting ahead of myself. If you want more realistic and sexy videos, such as "Wondra" and "Catwarrior", simply purchase the "Catwarrior" video, and leave the rest to me.
I intend to package the peril and extreme versions separately this time, so that peril fans don't have to see their heroine die... just be defeated. If you are into the 'extreme' genre, simply purchase the extreme version. Once the video is edited and available for sale, I will post the store link on this thread. So, stay tuned.

Hey Bluestone, thanks a lot for touching base with all of us here. I think we're all pretty anxious to see it. The actress looks gorgeous and the stills are awesome so far. I must say that I think selling the different versions/endings separately is a mistake. I for one, liked getting both versions of Wondra in the same package - especially when it's probably only a small difference in terms of running time, and it doesn't seem like it's shot in HD either. This "bang for buck" only helps your productions, in my opinion.

I consider the X-Men ladies to be some of the sexiest superheroines of all... but, I'm getting ahead of myself. If you want more realistic and sexy videos, such as "Wondra" and "Catwarrior", simply purchase the "Catwarrior" video, and leave the rest to me.

A Huntress video?! YES!!! I wasn't really that interested in the Batgirl video but if it means getting a Huntress video I'll be sure to buy it.

Well, I haven't packaged it up yet, so let me know what others feel. It's quite easy for those who don't want one of the versions to delete the one that they don't want, but for those who want both... or all three... it may be important. By all three, I mean that there may be a third video, being another extreme version. So, who wants all versions packaged together, and who wants to see just the peril version?

Personally having all three in a packaged deal sounds best to me.
