Hey All,
The Members' Release of "Ultrawoman 8: Undercover Amazon" has not as yet taken place. The fx editing is proving more extensive than originally foreseen, taking into account the multiple bullet and knife impacts in the Extreme version. Accordingly, so that the members get the first opportunity to purchase this video, the public release date will have to be delayed at least until the evening of Sunday, September 24th! We are now planning to release the Members' version on September 22nd!

We are sorry for having to delay the release date, both for members and the public, but we can assure you that our editing team is working feverishly to complete the very special FX required for this release. The last section is being completed right now, being the stabbing sequence in the Extreme version. Below is a still from this section. Since we bundle both versions for our members' package, and since our members are entitled to an early release, both release dates had to be extended. We will let everyone know when the new dates are set, which will be when I have the final versions in my hands and have approved them for release!

Hey All,
It's here! Ultrawoman 8 has been released!
Agent Steel takes on the Gate Keepers and Collectors, but has to call on her alter ego, Ultrawoman, when she gets in over her head. Problem is that her adversaries have laid a trap for her, and our Amazon is immediately bathed in a power-draining gas, and has to fight her enemies in a weakened state. Will she be able to overcome the odds, or will both Ultrawoman and Agent Steel be defeated in this awesome adventure?

You didnt exactly give the members a lot of time to pick up this bargain. My email notification came through at 3.24 am on 24th. I didnt even get to see the email until after the offer for members had closed. Such a quick turnaround might be precisely WHY the previous release wasn't so well supported.

Possibly, but there was a lot of prior notification here, and the release dates had to be extended a couple of times. So, we figured that since notification was sent out at about 10:00 pm on Sat. Sept. 23rd and the membership offer was in place until past 10:00 pm Monday Sept. 25th, 48 hours was sufficient time for members to buy their copy of the members' package. We didn't want to delay the public release any longer, because fans were virtually crying for this video release.

Most of the prior notification here invlolved announcements postponing the release, not saying when it was genuinely out. Even the day it was out we were still getting posts in the morning saying it would be delayed. And I didnt spot anything saying the members offer would stop once the wider release was available. If you did say so then my apogies, I didnt see it. A reminder of that would have been more pertinent than the various its 'tomorrow'-' no its not ' posts. But when you swamp the boards with mostly the same info and just a new pic the danger is that people will just look at the pic and not read your messages, which is probably what i did.

Hi Tallyho,
The Members email clearly gave the window of opportunity for when the Members Package was available, right down to the time in EST that the members package would no longer be available, and I even left it up a little longer than that deadline. Also, there are more to my posts than just the same info and a new pic every time. You will see above that Sunday morning at 10 am I advised as to the public release date and time, indicating that it was "to give the members time to purchase their members packages". This was in addition to the members email, and gave more notice to both members and the public as to when the releases were available. Two release dates had been posted several days before, even though those dates had to be extended.
To tell you the truth, this members system is a LOT of extra work for me and my editing staff. If all we get is grief from the members, perhaps it's time to simply scrap the members club and or reduce the membership to those who really care about the club and appreciate getting input into the video, an early release and extra bonus material.

Yes. The reason is that the Members Club was founded to encourage a group of 100 fans to buy new releases as they are released, so that those sales could offset the costs of production. We have to pay our production expenses when the videos are shot, so we need sales asap in order to pay our line of credit back down. The club and the benefits of membership are granted to encourage these early sales. If we do not get them within 2 days of release, there is really no advantage to us of having the membership club. We might as well simply release our videos to the public right away.

Yes the members email DID clearly state that but I didnt receive it until the middle of the night Sunday morning and didnt have a chance to go read thru the email until after the deadline on Monday, and as I say none of the posts indicated that the members offer was for such a limited period. (That I noticed, anyway) As far as I am aware it is only myself who is complaining, if so there is no need to penalize the other 99 members for your dissatisfaction with my views by scrapping the membership scheme. If others are, then maybe it WOULD be worth displaying the 2 day deadline more prominently. Due to my own personal circumstances and the timing of the release I had a 2 hr window where it was theoretically possible for me to get this based on the posts here, and in my case it was not achievable due to other issues. I was doing stuff with the family on Sunday, in work Monday. And then it was gone. I get what you say with regards Dr Doms post and your response and you have made clear the logic behind getting early members sales to offset your costs, and thats fine. If you still wish me to be a member then I will make more effort to buy the next release sooner. But i would still advocate displaying the deadline to buy more prominently in posts, and I certainly wouldnt like you to scrap the members benefits just for my voice of disgruntlement.

What you are getting from two very senior and supportive members of this forum is constructive criticism, not "grief". I am not a member of your group, but like Tallyho I do not always check my emails frequently each day or stay logged on to this forum carefully reading each post. You want your membership program to work and so do Tallyho and Dr. Dominator. I believe it would be worth your while to see if there was a reasonable way to make your system friendlier for members who clearly appreciate your videos.

I also had various obligations (family/travel/work) that prevented me from seeing the email until today, just now, in fact, and the deadline comes as a surprise to me too. Looks like I got the email Saturday night, so I don't know if knowing about the deadline ahead of time would've made any difference. It might have helped if I'd had a sense of when the member email was going out, but that wasn't clear either.
I get the significance of trying to incentivize early purchases, but I'm going to have to think about whether I want to buy the video for $25 without the extra footage that comes with the member package (I don't need two versions of the video.)
