Biologist Tanya Ford had a lot on her mind as she alighted from the plane shortly after it landed at Eduardo Gomes International Airport..the main airport serving Manaus...the capital city of the State of Amazonas..located deep in the Amazon jungle region at the confluence of the Negro and Soliemos Rivers.

A renowned biologist in the Brazilian scientific community..the 30 year-old Tanya had come to Manaus to undertake an important expedition into the Amazon.

However her decision to come here had been strongly opposed by her boyfriend Joaquim De La Cruz...a well known attorney and senator..who she shared a penthouse apartment with in Sao Paulo. He was angry at her for deciding to go on this expedition against his wishes rather than accompany him to formal engagements which meant a lot to him and nothing to her.

Putting those thoughts aside... Tanya collected her bags and made her way out of the airport terminal and hired a taxi to take her into the city to her first stop..the Environmental Police headquarters...where she had an appointment with its chief. On arrival at her destination...Tanya was hustled into a meeting with Chief Jose Delgado. The veteran police officer carefully read the letter which Tanya presented him with..outlining her reasons to travel to the small town of Humaita..deep in the Amazon jungle...to conduct her research on the wide species of animals and plants there.

"I've read many of your papers Doctor Ford...Your work is well known and respected here in Brazil...I'll see to it that one of my best officers accompanies you on your trip to Humaita...and will help you get settled..." said Delgado with a smile as he picked up the phone on his desk and tapped a couple buttons on it. "Officer Torres...Can you see me in my office.." said the police chief into the receiver before putting it down.

Moments later..the door opened and a 26 year old woman with shoulder length blonde hair..in the olive green uniform of the Enviromental Police..which hugged her shapely, athletic body..entered the room. "Doctor Tanya Ford...Officer Juliana Torres" said as he introduced the two women to each other. Juliana couldn't explain it..but somehow..she felt a strange warmth in her body as she studied Tanya's curvy body underneath her cream colored shirt, slacks and brown boots..her black hair which was tied into a thick pony tail behind her head..caused Julianna to experience feelings which she had never felt before. "Thanks Officer..Chief Delgado ranks you as one of his most experienced officers..I need someone like you to liaise with as I do my work here.." replied Tanya with a smile as she accepted Juliana's hand in her own right hand. "Excellent!..You two are perfect for each other...Officer Torres...You had better hurry if you are to help Doctor Ford catch the next ferry before it departs for Humaita..." remarked Delgado who himself felt there was good chemistry between the two women. He watched as they walked out of the building got into Juliana's car and drove away. However other eyes were on the duo as well..for a different reason.

Amazon River.
4 pm

The journey on the ferry downriver towards Humaita had been relatively uneventful up to that point. Tanya and Juliana spent a lot of time talking. Tanya told Juliana about the scientific breakthroughs she hoped to make while in Humaita..and how she regretted her boyfriend Joaquim didn't seem to appreciate what she did for a living. She was amazed and comforted to find Juliana more than understanding of her situation...having been the only girl in a family of five brothers..and how she went against her father's wishes to be a police officer. However their pleasant conversations which were solidfying their budding friendship were about to be interrupted unexpectedly.

As the ferry turned a bend in the river..entering a narrow channel that would lead to Humaita...a series of arrows shot towards the ferry from either side of the dense jungle undergrowth. "What's going on Juliana?!" asked Tanya with alarm. "We're under attack Tanya!!..Stay down!!..I'll deal with this!" replied Juliana as she drew her pistol from the holster on the left side of her waist...and took aim at the undergrowth..firing a few shots..hoping to hit the persons who were firing the arrows at the ferry.

However as the arrows struck the surfaces of the ferry..they released a thick, noxious yellow cloud which engulfed the boat in a matter of seconds."Ooooh...What's happening...Feeling strange...My nipples..hardening under my shirt...getting tired...going to sleep...I..can't..I..I..

As the boat drifted to a stop against one of the banks...several Amerindians emerged from their hiding places. The leader pointed to Tanya and Juliana..and they were carried away into the jungle by the natives..while the other passengers and crew were left on the ferry.

Tanya had no idea how long she was out...but she awoke to find herself tied to a wooden post inside a hut with several Amerindians surrounding her..babbling at her in their native tongue. "Please!..Let me go!..I don't mean you any harm!..I'm a biologist...I come in peace..to look at your jungle...its animals and plants!..You have to believe me!" said Tanya as she tried repeatedly to placate the natives who seemed unresponsive to her words. However the Amerindians fell silent when one of their number..wearing robes of jaguar pelt..a feathered head-dress and a wooden staff bearing the head of a jaguar entered the hut..and they bowed to him.

Tanya reasoned he was the chief of the tribe and her deduction was correct. She was comforted when the elderly chief spoke to her in a kind tone of voice. "Have no fear of us woman...I am Mentalo..Chief of the Jaga...The prophecy has come to pass..a woman with an aura of undeniable purity comes forth from the great river..." said the Chief as he untied the vines which bound Tanya to the post. "Come woman...You will be a guest in my hut..My people will care for your friend..." said Mentalo. "Juliana!..Is she?" asked Tanya..worried about her new friend. "She is strong..She will rest..recover..while..we talk.." replied the Chief as he ushered the female biologist into his hut.

"Why did you bring us here?" asked Tanya once she was inside. "You are chosen woman..Chosen by the Spirits to fulfill a great mission"
replied Mentalo. "What?..I don't understand...I'm a biologist...I came here to do research..study animals and plants here in the Amazon...
find ways to help people" said Tanya..who was more confused than ever by the old Amerindian's words and what they meant. The Chief reached into a pouch and revealed to her a golden chain and amulet which bore the face of a jaguar. For a reason she could not explain..Tanya Ford found herself drawn by the gleaming amulet.

"Your mission is more than just being a scientist Tanya Ford...The Spirits have spoken..They have chosen you..to be the Heroine of the Amazon...to protect the weak against the strong...to fight for justice...for peace in the Amazon...accept your destiny...wear this talisman..and think...think of changing from the ordinary female called Tanya Ford...into she who will be known throughout the Amazon as...JAGUAR WOMAN!" said Mentalo as he held out the golden amulet to her. Without hesitation...Tanya slipped the golden chain and amulet over her neck..the amulet resting in the space between her shapely breasts. She closed her eyes and did as she was told.

"Madness!!..The Spirits are mad!!..I will prove them wrong!!..I will show the stranger is unworthy to be Jaguar Woman!!" screamed Hannah as she ran out of the hut and the village...never to return again.

Humaita
7 pm.

"Are you sure that's all that happened?" asked Juliana as Tanya handed her a cup of coffee in the living room of the small house which would be her home while she was doing her research in the Humaita. "Yes..It must have been some kind of sulphruous discharge from an underground vent...Everyone on the boat lost consciousness...but once it faded...we were all right.." replied Tanya who was clad in a white dress and brown flat shoes as she sat down in a chair in front of Juliana with her cup of coffee. The two friends sipped their coffee in silence for a minute.

Juliana still had no idea what happened while she was unconscious. She thought she was hit on the head...but found no trace of injury. She thought the ferry was attacked by Amerindians shooting arrows. There was no evidence of that on any part of the ferry. None of the passengers and crew remembered anything of this. As she pondered those thoughts...Juliana heard a crackle on her walkie-talkie and answered it. "Torres" she said. "This is Delgado..Torres...a launch is on its way to collect you..we have reports of heavily armed poachers at work close to Humaita...You are to apprehend them!" said Juliana's boss.

"Yes sir" replied Juliana as she got to her feet. Tanya took Juliana's hands in her own. "Thanks Juliana..and please be careful.." said Tanya. "I will Doctor...I mean Tanya...Goodbye for now..." replied Juliana with a smile as she walked out of Tanya's house and made her way towards the docks of Humaita to meet the police launch which Delgado had sent to pick her up.Tanya closed the door as she watched her new friend leave.

"Juliana could be heading into a dangerous situation...From what I read before coming to Humaita...the poachers who operate in the Amazon region are well armed and well financed by powerful allies back in the cities...even professional lawyers like Joaquin have been corrupted to work for them...This is the perfect opportunity for me to become Jaguar Woman and help Juliana to defeat these enemies of the Amazon..." resolved Tanya as she took out her golden talisman and began to focus her thought..the roar of the jaguar filling her ears as she began her amazing transformation.

Moments later..the silhouette of an exceptionally busty and bodacious woman was moving swiftly through the jungle at incredible speed. It belonged to none other than the Heroine of the Amazon...the Jaguar Woman. Doctor Tanya Ford awoke from sleep..with vague memories of what happened the night before. She remembered using her new found super powers to transform into JAGUAR WOMAN..the beauteous Heroine of the Amazon to go and save her new friend...Environmental Police officer Juliana Torres from a band of armed poachers who had trapped Juliana and two other officers at a location in the jungle.

However after saving Juliana..who Tanya could not explain her strange attraction to...everything went black and her mind went blank. She could not even remember how it was she was able to return to her home here in this city located in the heart of the Amazon jungles of Brazil. Slipping out from under the covers of her bed...Tanya was vaguely aware that she was stark naked as she staggered towards her nearby bathroom to take a shower.

"Ohhh..Why do I feel a lingering soreness in my nipples..in my breasts...like someone was touching them...Why do I still feel so tired?" wondered Tanya as she brushed back a few strands of her shoulder length black hair which fell across her face. Nowhere was she more actively talked about than in the seedy section of the city where reputed underworld figures gathered on a regular basis..away from the eyes of the law...which was very limited in the Amazon region..at least until the sudden appearance of the big breasted jungle crimefighter.

At a particular cantina in the backstreets of Humaita...a reputed smuggler named Ortega sat with some of his criminal partners...playing cards..drinking whiskey and talking about the Jaguar Woman. "Who is this big boobed senorita?" asked one smuggler. "I don't know..but you hear how she took out Martinez and his men..They say she's very strong..and very fast..." said another smuggler as he dealt the cards.

"Whatever this bitch is...She's big trouble and bad for business...Our bosses back in the city ain't gonna be happy about her running around in the jungle...stopping us from making a living...We gotta find a way to stop her!" growled Ortega as he took a gulp of whiskey..emptying his glass...getting up from the table and going to the bar to get more of the brown beverage again. As he walked down the corridor..Ortega found himself suddenly confronted by a beautiful Amerindian woman with thick black hair.

"So you wish to tame the Jaguar Woman?...I can help you..." said Hannah..daughter of Mentalo..Chief of the Jaga tribe who had given Tanya Ford the special talisman which allowed her to transform into the big breasted jungle cat.

"Yeah..." replied Ortega..strangely intrigued by both this woman's body and the directness with which she spoke to him. Hannah reached into her pouch and gave him a pot which contained thick purple goo.

"Inside this pot is an extract from the rare tittia tree found deep in the Amazon....This will help you to defeat Jaguar Woman..She has no resistance against its effects...but you must do exactly as I tell you if you want to capture her" explained Hannah. "Keep talking...I'm listening..." replied Ortega..who forgot about going to get another bottle of whiskey as he listened intently to the instructions that Hannah was giving him.

Two days later
Humaita, 2 pm

Tanya was in the laboratory in her house..examining some plant samples which Juliana had brought for her to examine. She was happy the policewoman had come to visit...and the strange attraction which she had for the blonde haired..athletically trim Juliana Torres seemed to intensify when the policewoman was with her. "Tanya..I don't know who she is but...this Jaguar Woman..She's so beautiful and so strong...Had it not been for her...I would have been killed...along with my colleague officers..instead..She helped us capture a group of wanted poachers" said Juliana

"Hmmm..Sounds as if this woman made quite an impression on you.." said Tanya as she looked up from her microscope and smiled at her friend. Juliana Torres drove her jeep along the trail through the jungle..coming to the end of what for the policewoman proved to be an uneventful patrol of the area where reports of criminal activity surfaced from time to time. Thinking to herself she could probably surprise her friend Tanya Ford and they could have dinner together..Juliana was about to radio her report into her boss..Chief Jose Delgado...when she suddenly felt a sharp prick in the back of her neck.

"Uhhhh"groaned Juliana as her blue eyes rolled up in her head..which slumped on to the steering wheel as she lost consciousness within two seconds. From the undergrowth..two thugs emerged and dragged the unconscious policewoman out of her vehicle. The smuggler Ortega..smiled as he watched his men holding the drugged Juliana Torres..under her arms and by her ankles. "You're gonna be some good bait lady cop.." sneered Ortega as his men carried Juliana off into the bush..leaving her jeep abandoned on the jungle trail The first part of his sinister plan had been completed.

Back inside her laboratory in her house in Humaita...biologist Tanya Ford got a feeling that her friend..policewoman Juliana Torres was in danger again. "Juliana is in trouble...Something evil has happened to her again..and it's time for me to change into Jaguar Woman and save her!" resolved Tanya as she pulled out her special golden talisman and focused her thoughts. She heard the roar of the jaguar fill her ears and felt her body begin to undergo its incredible transformation.
