Hey everybody

I normally keep rather quiet on these message boards but here it goes:

I just wanted to make people aware that I am working on a project called Girl of Steel, which will be based on Supergirl. If we've raised enough money then I hope to start filming in the summer.

The lead is played by an enthusiastic (and beautifull) cosplayer and Model Dawn, this is her in costume...
To help raise money, stock photos will be sold of Dawn in various poses, sorry no nudity, just like the final film.

Go for it, but keep it clean!!!

Theses are just some suggestions I would like see in this Supergirl: Girl Of steel fan film. ..which I hope will be made. Here are some of the scenes from various Superman & Supergirl movies that would like to see Supergirl do in this fan film.

1-The scene where Superman is flying around the earth to reverses the time (Superman The Movie)

2-Superman Kryptonite Necklace Pool Drowning underwater Scene (From Superman The Movie)


3-Superman defeats a killer computer (From Superman 3)


4-Superman Rescuing somebody out of a fire (From Superman 3)


5-Supergirl arriving on earth/flying sequence


6-Supergirl defeating the villain/power of shadow


hope you don't mind the links... it was hard for me to write the suggestions in words..so I had to put up links of scenes to describe it. Check the videos out...these are my suggestions of scenes I would like to see in the film.

I do have two more questions. I was wondering...when the film is a finished product and ready to be posted, where will the video be posted. Will it be on YouTube or will you be building a website that profiles the film.
2) What's your target date for the film to be released?
Anyway, Thanks for the replying to my suggestions. Hopefully..you can do the pool scene of the Kryptonite necklace...It just seems appropriate to associate the Kryptonite necklace with the pool... I think when it comes to superheroine peril, Underwater peril is overlooked and should be done more often, just my opinion. But I hope it's put in the film. But, anyway. thanks for your reply and keep us up to date on the progress of your film. I already subscribed to your facebook page. Can't wait for this film to come out.

There is a website that is currently under construction, where people can watch it or download it free of charge, the site will be available shortly where you'll be able to download image sets of Dawn as Supergirl for a fee, this will go towards the production of the film.

At the moment I don't have a target date, only that I hope to start filming in the summer.

I support the kryptonite and a scene in the pool, there are not many movies underwater superheroines

I like the pool scene too! Just please tell me hose/tights are involved!

it is for children, like superman, no obscene scenes, but with the pool scene

The pool scene isn't obscene though, otherwise it wouldn't have featured in the original Superman movie :/

I second the Kryptonite Necklace/Pool Scene but only if the Actress would be ok with it. Thank you for making this Video, the Actress who is playing Supergirl is beautiful.

I know that the model Dawn is wearing a wig in this photo and I was wondering..will she wear the wig in the film or will her hair be long and dyed blonde. I would like to see her with her own hair dyed blond, better than the wig. I would look genuine with regular hair than the wig..besides the pool scene would probably not work if she was wearing a wig. Just my opinion. Besides, it seems like a lot of folks want to see that pool scene in your film like me. But then again, you probably have that covered already for the future.
