As our game meant nothing I wore me Irish Jersey instead of me Wales one- had strangers wishing me well and congratulating me all day - a pianist even played Danny Boy for me in the curry house!
If you listened carefully....very carefully...you could hear the sound of English hearts breaking, just beneath the crash of their dreams being broken which in turn was drowned out by the shuddering smash of their hopes crashing down around them.

Hey folks,
Best wishes for a safe and isolated St. Paddy's tomorrow.
There'll not be a slurry spreader or a silage trailer decked out in green in the whole of Ireland tomorrow but that's what we gotta do.
Every pub in Ireland will be shut tomorrow. What a weird St.Paddy's this will be, a Bizarro or Mirror Universe St. Paddy's if you will.
And sure, if you're stuck at home here's a song ya can learn
