I guess it was always set-up to return 25 years later. Killer Bob must have chalked-up quite a death toll in the years he's been possessing Agent Cooper's body.

This calls for some Angelo Badalamenti & Julee Cruise madness.
Sheryl Lee and Ray Wise are somehow back, despite their original characters being dead for over a quarter of a century. Also, actual death hasn't prevented Catherine E. Coulson's return as the Log Lady.
No sign of Lara Flynn Boyle, but she looks nothing like Donna anymore. Probably best to recast that character or give her an off-screen fate. Her butchered face is a bit too disturbing, even for a David Lynch show.

yeah but it wasn't anywhere near the same as it was a mockery and tongue firmly put in cheek story. while it was nice seeing them again and watching them lampoon the show they starred in it wasn't the real thing....this is the real thing
