Front page layout.

Err, did something explodify the front page? I'm currently seeing the Twitter feed off to the right, not below as it was, and the topic section columns are compressed to about 2 or 3 characters. Enter a forum section though and it all returns to normal.

I'm currently using a tablet while my net is down but the site had been fine until yesterday sometime.

On my mobile the Twitter feed is below, on a laptop it is off to the right.

Also the scrolling pics have gone in both, just an fyi MH.

Cheers Tallyho, the worst part is with the narrow columns in the table formats each row is now about 20 odd lines deep and whatever is written in there is hard to read.

It kind of looks like this;

Sup
er
he
ro
in
es

I see what you're talking about. I can fix that easily, thanks for pointing it out!

Are you using the dark theme or the lighter theme?

Hi there Mighty,

I didn't realise there were themes but I'd guess this is the 'light' version I'm looking at. The front page now looks better but on my tablet the Twitter feed on the right kind of looks jammed on.

Yeah I am going to have to work on that. I will remove it for the time being.

I noticed it doesn't do it on my iPhone only on my iPad.

Thats right. It's an issue with the way the sidebar is coded for a responsive layout. I'm working on a solution. I've taken the sidebar offline at the moment, until I have more time to work on it.

Is there a reason you removed all the latest postings list from the front page? Are you in maintenance mode? Because it's a great time-saver not to have to check all the major categories for active thread replies. I'm just only slightly panicked.

I found it to be inaccurate

It updated quite frequently but I wouldn't say it was inaccurate.

I still had to go into the new releases forum cause a lot of releases didn't bubble to the top 5 posts. Now granted someone was posting Joanna Lumly pics like every 4 hours at that blew the top 5 for a while but I still always had to go through the other forums to see posts anyway.

^Not all subforums were rigged to show-up the latest activity on that list.

Yup don't panic. The sidebar wasn't lining up correctly so I disabled all other features so I could so the developer the reason why that was happening.

I'll be reactivating that section but hopefully it will wind up in the sidebar where it belongs :)
