In reading the posts about the possible copyright concerns and possible issues with DC characters, how about using a Gold Avenger character? I loved the SHC character and would love to see another one with the same outfit. And it wouldn't conflict with the DC issue.

Sounds goods..As for the possible copyright concerns and possible issues with DC characters..At the moment, I think we are all dealing with speculations on the issue.

I loved the SHC characters (the original Psystrike was a big favorite), so I am all for this.

It's probably smart for a lot of the producers over the next few years to start moving toward original characters. I know that'll hurt sales, but if you can't sell a video you made because of a copyright issue, you ain't making the money anyway.

Hey I wouldn't be against someone using one of my heroines in a movie if we discussed terms. Ms. Americana might be hard due to the costume but I'd love to see Randi Moore as Amazing Babe or Christine Carter as Green Specter.

Ultra woman was the freaking best. I loved those SHC videos!

Gold Clad heroines are probably my faves so... Gold Avenger yes please.

Are you confusing Gold Avenger with Supreme avenger? Both were Gold. One was a body suit.

I quite liked them both. Though Supreme Avenger was probably my fave of the two.

Loved THIS Gold Avenger! Would love to see more of such a character. If I'm not mistaken, it was Erica Steele who played the part. Definitely a reason why I subscribed to SHC back in the day.

That's like a real easy costume to make. Just a gold leotard, some gold gloves, some crappy boots you spray gold fleck paint, gold art shop mask, some gold fabric from fabric store for sash. Anyone could make that. And yes that was Erica Steele

It is fairly simple (though with a slightly higher quality mask hopefully), and with the right model I think a Gold Avenger series would be a hit. Would have loved to see Coco in that role. Too bad she's gone :/

I believe that SHC has a copyright on all of its stories and original characters. I would expect that Danno might consider selling permission to use some of his original characters to interested producers.

It's not really copyright in a character, to my mind it's passing off (I suppose in practical terms it's the same)

I really liked the first Supreme Avenger serial. In my opinion it was one of the best movies Dan'O produced. If I am not wrong, she appeared in a second movie, but the first one was my favorite. I will always remember the short featurette introducing the character where the a voice in off says that all the villains dream about grabing her tits and then the camera cuts to her and she says full of confidence: "And they never will"...lol...Oh memory lane...lol...

One lesson we learned was NEVER use reflective material with green screen. You could see the green screen on her costume in some cases.

The one kind of sad thing with how SHC has gone downhill was just the sheer amount of awesome characters they had. To this day I'll still kind of watch out for the Time Tunnel to see if it has something I missed with one of my favorites like Ultra Woman. Thrust Girl, Gold Avenger, Fusion, etc. They had some great costumes and characters.

Would love to get some of those old Rebecca Love Fusion Girl vids, but appears they aren't available anywhere.

Erika Steele was such a babe and man did she rock that gold leotard. I still pull out those Gold Avenger clips and photo sets from time to time. One of the best and sexiest heroines SHC ever did. Those were the days my friends.

Chiming in - yes, would love to see both Gold Avenger and Supreme Avenger. Including an update of the transformation scene where she swallows the power pill after being restrained a bit by the villain (if I remember the sequence correctly).

The Gold Avenger and UltraGirl were my two favs from that site. It's what got me into the genre.

Erika Steele fills out the high-cut leotard costume perfectly and sells her peril and defeat very well.

Summer was a fantastic UltraGirl that played the role to perfection and the three part story line she was in is still one of the best in the industry (according to me).

Such a big fan of these two that I made a couple of wallpapers for them and use them as my desktop backgrounds.

Ultra Girl was great, personally though I enjoyed the first few Ultra Woman films they did the most where she was normally double teamed and endured beatings and other tortures. Vagrin's Toys (I think it was) where she was stripped of her powers and forced to fight two normal thugs was amazing and has one of the best cholo scenes of any video of all time. Ultra Woman Trap had some great beatings of the heroine and plenty of costume destruction. Ultra Girl was also pretty good, love the one where she's ambushed in her hotel room and utterly destroyed.

i think danno had the best lineup of models ever...the girl who played supreme avenger was my favorite...but i also liked the girl who played power punch and the girl who played nighthawk...but like i said they were all beautiful

Great call RedMountain! UltraWoman Trap is a classic as well with the costume destruction and regeneration and destruction again. I think I may need to break it out and make a wallpaper for her as well.

Yes, "Vagrins Toys" was the best chloroform scene in my opinion ever with the original Ultra Girl.

I mean, I've seen it online in a bootleg form, but I mean getting it officially.

I think this Gold Avenger thread proves that original characters (which I personally prefer) can hold their own. I guess they just need a bit of traction and for fans to get into them (no pun, and shame on you for thinking it!)

(although I say this authoritatively without having a handy spreadsheet showing how many wonder woman films sell vs say Redwings)

I like what Rye has done with the new Ultrawoman character lately. Would love to see more of her, and perhaps pit her against a Gold Avenger character. Bring back some of the SHC days with a updated twist to it perhaps. A sort of homage to DanO.

Hmmm not sure this is ethical. These are videos off Dano's store/pay site. Did he give you permission to distribute them?
