Oddness with submit button

I've noticed as of late when clicking the submit button my post doesn't submit but goes to the full editor mode then I have to press submit again. I thought it was due to someone else having submitted a reply before I was done. But now I'm seeing that if I click submit it asks again for submit then asks again for submit then the "too soon to submit another post" error comes up.
