I read this morning on Twitter in a few places that fetish and porn actress Alexis Grace has passed away. I never met her personally or worked with her but we had texted recently about setting up a shoot. My heartfelt condolences go out to her friends and family at this difficult time

It's a shame if it's true...but I'm not seeing any sites that are confirming this. She tweeted about 10 hours ago. And I'm not seeing any news about her death.

A lot of big industry names are tweeting condolences.

Eerily, Alexis's own Twitter just resent a tweet she has sent a few times before. It seems to be on an automated timer. Something as small and silly as a scheduled tweet she set-up recently just shows how quickly it can all end.

It's true unfortunately. She was so beautiful and so young.
I tried to book her several times to work with her but our schedules never matched. I saw her all weekend at all the events during fetishcon. She was there with everyone else. She looked quiet but seemed ok.
I will always remember her love for pantyhose. She had asked me on set for other producers to take candid photos of her in them for her own memories.
I hope she passed peacefully. She will be missed.

I knew Alexis she she was 18. When I moved to FL back in 2006, she came over a lot and we hung out. Sometimes we shot content but mostly we would just have little pool parties or play Rock Band or just sit around and BS. We talked a lot. Im not going to say too much right now but, as a model, she actually brought me a lot of girls that wanted work and she would sacrifice her slot so that they would make money. She had a heart of gold and not a bad bone in her body. She was always the one getting screwed over, not the other way around. I just hope people remember her that way.

I'm not sure if she's actually dead but I did notice that that post from Avn says she died Tuesday and today is Monday and also she tweeted 6hrs ago.

The tweets appear to be pre-scheduled. If you take a look at the recent ones, it's always the same ad for BentBox and the daily horoscope for Sagittarius.

Besides which, Alexis's death has been confirmed by credible news sources and her own friends. While it would be nice to say it was all a hoax, there really is no doubt now that Alexis actually did pass away last week.

On the subject of Twitter, does anyone know what they do with accounts in these circumstances? Do they need authorization from next of kin to close the account?

I am sadden by the news. I have many of Alexis's heroine content and she was one of my favorite performers. I was going to email her about doing a custom last week.

I may be way off on this, but I believe you need an order from the probate judge or something issued to you as the executor of their estate that allows you to access their account to close it. Otherwise you cannot access it. I remember when my parents were looking at some estate planning, they were told to keep a list of their accounts/passwords so it would be easy for loved ones to go online and post a message that they were deceased and then close the accounts, but even in that case it is frowned upon for privacy reasons. Otherwise there was/is a ton of red tape you have to go through in order to take care of it, which is a shame. I remember reading a story about a mother who had to basically sue facebook to shut down her dead 20-some year old sons account.
