Several people including me have posted discussions on custom videos, and studios have made comments here or on Twitter about how some people send customs without knowing if models are active in the business. I have purchased many customs from Primal Fetish and recently one with Bold Eagle Productions. The process on the customer's end is fairly simple. Write a script, pick active models, and find the right studio for your needs!.

Cost

I cannot say how much your custom video will cost. I am not speaking for any studios. I do not represent any studios. I'm an expert consumer.

The price depends on what you want. If you want a hardcore scene then expect to pay at least $1,000 or MORE. The more you want in a video can raise the price for your custom video. You may be charged for the model's fees, time, costumes, cameramen, photographers, etc. It depends on the studio. Be sure ask what you are being charged for if you are unsure of the pricing. Most companies will let you know the price and what fees were added to the price.

You will need to find the right studio for your needs! Go to their stores and see what type videos they normally film. It's okay to inquire for something if you don't see it. My very first custom was from Primal Fetish and it was slightly different than their typical videos. My custom was a Legend of Zelda parody and I did not see any video game parodies at their stores. But I inquired about it and they accepted my custom.

You will need to pick a model for your video! Always research a model's status before asking for a quote. Do not send a request asking for Madison Ivy because she is a contract pornstar with Brazzers. You're wasting people's time.

You can research model's status by going to the following model agencies and the models' Twitter pages. Most retired pornstars will say "retired adult actress" or something similar along those lines.

Model Agencies will say if models are available, feature pictures, list their sizes, and list each model's fetishes. As long as a model's page lists B/G or G/G then you are almost good to go as the model is willing to do hardcore scenes. I also recommend checking their Twitter pages for recent photos because model agencies do not always reflect current pictures. One of my favorite models had beautiful hair and she cut it all off for a film with a mainstream company. Be aware of how a model currently looks before placing an order.

However, model agencies do not list two critical fetishes and they are submissive and dominant. People take it for granted that all pornstars are submissive models, and this is not true. A few models do not want to be a submissive. The majority of Superheroine fetish videos have the dominant villain dominate the submissive heroine. If a model is not a submissive, then you will need to move on to the next model or cast this model for a dominant role.

One last thing! Don't think you're limited to only models that you have seen in SHIP videos. Just because you have never seen a model in a SHIP video does not mean she is unwilling to do it. Maybe nobody has given her the phone call. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Write a script!

You will need to write a simple and reasonable script. Porn studios are NOT Fox and Loin Gate. They are not going to do any crazy stunts. Most studios do not want you to write a 10 page script. You are not writing Romeo and Juliet Part 2. Remember this is adult entertainment.

I recommend writing a one to two page script with as much detail as possible. It is okay to add some dialogue for the story. Be sure to add keywords or phrases that you would like the performers to say in the film.

You also need to decided how long you want the video. Be sure to write the time on the script. You do not want to end up being disappointed because you wanted the video to be 40 minutes and you got a 15 minutes video.

Pick the costume!

This process is fairly easy if your custom video features a classic superheroine such as Supergirl and Wonder Woman. Many studios already have costumes of these characters and you may find the perfect version in one of their previous videos. If your character is an original superheroine, then studios can either purchase an original costume (you may be charged for this) or you may find a costume from an online site(you may also be charged for this).

Just want to point out that your list of studios doesn't even BEGIN to cover all the studios out there. There are a lot more studios than you have listed here, as well as a lot of individual models and producers who will make custom videos.

I'm a big fan of Cali Logan - she does great work at more-than-reasonable prices. She's just one person, but she has a wide range of models available, including scheduled special guests and wardrobe available so she's like a one-woman studio. For a couple of my customs, I sent her some screen shots of Champions Online heroines that I created and she reproduced the costumes damn-near perfect and didn't charge me a dime extra because she put it together from stuff she had on hand!

what about Jamie knotts shes great at making customs and also Brittany lynn at sexyfantasis these produces also have great price range no where near the huge price that the others charge check them out and have fun .

Okay, now I like this. I really, really like this. This can serve as an excellent blueprint for those looking to get started in constructing what it is that they want to see. When it comes to doing custom requests it's always good to look around and see who is available for custom performances (this way customers run less of a risk of trying to ask for people who aren't performing anymore or asking for people who have limitations with certain types of performances).

Any suggestions tallyho? We'd like to hear your person recommendations if you have any. The more, the better (and the merrier).

I've never had a custom done but I know Christian Carter has a very detailed pricing structure laid out at her web site which might help people decide. And of course there is our own MH, who I have no idea if he does shoot customs but will no doubt offer advice if asked here.

I would say before anyone does commit, having found a producer you like, to perhaps ask for PMs of personal experiences in dealing with said producer from other members. We all know some people here have had bad experiences. I would ask them to be comments via PRIVATE MESSAGE TO WHOEVER ASKS rather than open forum posts. Dont want a shit storm.

(I am not convinced this thread should be in the Producers section though, on account of you know, this is the Producers Section, for Producers, so I may move it after consultation with the other mods on their views)

I have added a couple more studios to the list. I don't know every studio so it would help to tell me anyone that I missed. Christina Carter and TBFE have been added. I have also separated them by hardcore and softcore.

Its fine to mention ones you or others posting here have had personal experiences with, but I didnt want any newbies or perhaps members whose first language isnt English to think of it as a definitive list.
Just mention that there are many others, some of whom post here
