The Black Scorpion Mobile was like a combination of Kitt and the Batmobile.


Anyone remember the 2001 TV series "Black Scorpion" starring Michelle Lintel?
I always wondered about the ScorpionMobile. It always looked good on TV but I was sadly disappointed by reality.


3 years after the show ended after just 1 season, back in 2004 it was up for sale and sat in the studio parking lot rotting away neglected & left abandoned, collecting dust and rust. It was in rough shape then and no longer drive-able. Appears like there was extra stuff on the back in this photo? Perhaps removed or unable to save whatever this cylinder tube things? I think they were cannons?


Well, someone bought it, tried restoring it and had it for sale online.

After a close look during daylight he body work was not well done or perhaps didn't hold up? Looks like the repainted it with a brush?

It was just so sad to really see this car up close and all it's ugly flaws. I guess it's like when you fiannly meet you a famous movie star you always admired only to find out there a Jerk?

I liked Michelle Lintel and the series. Good tongue in cheek fun and some very hot babes, with good peril, ko's and unmaskings

If someone is on this site and doesn't know THAT show......well, then something went terribly wrong
One of the very few TV shows with a masked heroine in the lead role. And certainly the best regarding costume and unmasking action.

But back to topic, well it is odd to see that car in daylight.... And yeah, daylight isn't so good for it.
And the car scenes in the show weren't exactly the strong part...very repetetive...
Would only be interested in the car if I would be a millionaire....then it would be a nice item for display.

I also noticed the passenger side looked very different from the driver side but agree with some TLC and a GOOD body shop could probably restore this Scorpionmobile to it's proper glory. It just made me sad to see it like this and shattered the illusion that it was supercool. I just wonder if during the filming of the show if it looked this bad during daylight too back in 2001? It's like meeting a celebrity only to see that star as a super jerk I guess? To my knowledge, they only made & used 1 car, and I'm guessing a lot of those dents were from the action scenes from the TV show as well as the damage not to mention letting it sit for years abandon on the studio lot. They way the people on the Corvette Forum slammed the owner just broke my heart.

Was Black Scorpion made for HD broadcast?
Pre-HD props could be made to more forgiving standards.

The front shot is the best shot of the vehicle. Side shots are bad.


Look CLOSE it's missing parts and logo off the back too?


The BlackScorpion logo on the back is removed, stolen, fell off or lost? Seriously for this price you couldn't restore it at all? Maybe 3D print the logo for the back of the car? But they painted the rims read? WTF?

And I would say these pictures are even partly made up....the corvette never stood in that panoroma...looks like they just copied it to that background.
The the auction's description....very poor! Only very few lines...
If you want to sell such a car for THAT kind of money... you need to put in way more work in description.
If I sell a Bluray on Ebay there is more text to it

I could be wrong but the girl in the last photo even looks photo shopped into the picture but am not sure?

I watched the 1st film with Joan Severance from 1995 & the 2nd film. They used a different car. I can't even tell what it is? I think it might be a just a black Porsche?


Then in 2001 episode 1 they blow it up and the create the Corvette Scorpionmobile.

I'm re-watching the tv show and so far I have only found ONE episode where the ScorpionMobile can be seen during the day.

MANY of the episodes are the SAME footage used over and over! I never noticed it until I really looked at it. EXACT same footage either sped up or shot slightly different angles?

Yeah, that's why the car scenes aren't so interesting for me. They use the same car crash in different episodes. Nearly everytime we get the same "cleavage shot" from the side.
When I watch an episode....I mostly skip the car scenes.
It gets WAY more interesting when Black Scoprion is out of her car!

In the Joan Severance Film even the IMCDb.org cars guys aren't sure what the Scorpion Mobile is? They think it might be a Porsche?

If and when I do get a car, what would you guess suggest as the TinaMobile?

I often wonder what the ACTUAL interior was like?

I tried to figure out WHO actual made this car but no where in the credits is it mentioned.

I loved the Michelle lintel, Black Scorpion series! I thought her car was an exciting part of the show. She's fabulous being Darcy Walker the police detective, and absolutely hot as Black Scorpion wearing her unforgettable stunning costume. The various specially developed technologies she uses to take down her adversaries while she kicks ass, are very entertaining! There were so many good fight scenes and peril action. A modern HD take of this TV show with the right actress, could be fantastic!

If I had to pick between Joan Severance and Michelle Lintel, I'd choose Michelle. She was way hotter IMO


Back to the topic at hand....I just keep thinking about the sad Demise of the Scorpion Mobile.

It's for sale again. He dropped the price to $40,000 but STILL that's too high IMO
