I would be open to buy Giga's movies if all of them were translated and did not require license. They treat videos as if they are software programs that require licenses.

Spandexer is an amazing series and this latest costume is tremendous.
For the longest time I've been trying to get the exact lyrics for the Spandexer theme song, both in Japanese and in English.
I've always thought it would be pretty cool for a female-fronted poppy-punk band to cover the theme.
If anyone knows the total extent of the bilingual lyrics, please post them here. Thanks!

Is that first pic with the arms and legs disappearing into the metal restraints a real shot from the video? Or just a mockup for marketing?
That costume is absolutely killer. But I agree with some of the other posters here that it's a pain in the ass to deal with licensing. And frankly, just buying a GIGA video is an exercise in anxiety and frustration. It's impossible to tell if it's dubbed into English or if there are sub-titles. It's not clear what you are getting when you buy them, or even where to buy them from has changed a lot over the years.
It'd be great if someone produced a video in English with a bondage set-up like that.

Yeah, what good is a Japanese SHIP video when the cries of pain aren't translated via English subtitles.

There will be a scene with her in the restraints, but these are promo shots.
I think the restraints are brilliant. All they are is handles the actress holds on to within the large tube or shackle. Since it's covering any view of the hands, it gives the illusion that she is restrained in them tightly. There was a previous video they already released. Let me see if I can find it.

Yeah, I've tried to navigate that mess a few times. Sometimes the previews don't work. Sometimes, you can almost tell what the video is about from the crappy translation. I agree the costumes are awesome but I've never been a fan of those super thick masks. Can't deny the prod values on these videos, though!

I don't LOVE those masks, but I think they are okay. They should also offer uncensored version of their movies on their English site. I respect their culture. They also need to understand their targeted audience on their English site. Western countries with adult entertainment do not censor porn. Giga is very out of touch with their Western audience.

I ask you all to go to JapanHDV.com, and search "Ninja". This is as close to uncensored "SHIP", I've seen from Japan.

Spandexer 7 has been my favourite so far, with Reiko Kobayakawa as Moon Angel. I wish someone would do an English subtitled version.

Much as I love the costumes and the bondage/horror aspects of these videos, am I the only one who can't stand to listen to the women's voices? Those high-pitched whiny screeches just ruin it for me. :-p

Well that hardly seems fair. There are dozens and dozens of actresses in Giga films, all with different voices.

Yeah, okay, I mean I guess I shouldn't generalize. But a LOT of the videos I've seen from Giga, the women have very whiny, fingernails on a chalkboard, voices. Am I wrong?
