What's wrong with the Fox movies Rogue (other than that she was completely wasted in X-Men 3 )?
She was completely wasted in all of the Fox movies. She was nothing like the comic version in attitude or powerset, she was meek and forgettable, and brought none of the sex appeal.

I could see her pulling that off. Pretty much the entire X-men is about to be flipped anyway, so might as well enjoy the sexiness where you can find it (like with the Titans show's Starfire and Blackfire) because she's not going to look like the comic book version. She's beautiful for sure.
The bottom half of that costume is gorgeous and skin-hugging - love the asymmetry of the costume design even though it doesn't look like the 5000 sexy cosplayers who already play Rogue in her classic symmetric costume at conventions. The top half leaves something to be desired - you still want the short jacket, but you want it open and not loose, so her ample chest is clearly in view. Then it would be very close to perfect despite the alternate design.
And yes, Rogue was mostly wasted in the Fox movies. Anna Paquin was short, fairly timid, and not particularly shapely in those films. She came off like a scared teenager. We need a Rogue in her mid-20s, confident, powerful and sexual, with an alluring Southern accent.
The 1992 series (2nd best animated superhero show of all time) presented her perfectly, shugah.

Yeah you can't beat 1992 Animated series Rogue. That was the perfect interpretation of the character.
That's the way she should be portrayed in the movies, physically strong, emotionally vulnerable, but Never a wimp or a pushover.
Also agree about the jacket, it needs to be open, or I'd be fine with them going wit her classic green yellow outfit.
