I thought it would be a good idea to revisit this episode considering there's a fan movie from WildKat about this specific scene. I always thought that this is one episode with the most number of missed opportunities in the entire CBS run of Wonder Woman.



It also got me wondering about this particular frame, where Wonder Woman was acting all confident and sh_t, when looking at the prior sequence, from the bearhug until the crash through the door, it would appear like WW has been on the receiving end up until this point.

He sure gave WW a good thrashing there for a while.

He just got lucky! no silly goon can defeat me!

I think this is one of those time WW just pulls her strength so she doesn't break his arms or something.

Probably, but I'd rather like to believe that a few goons have the strength to give her a hard time. At least that's how I like my heroines.

It is true .. some goons can give us heroines a hard time.

Not surprised they made a fan movie about this scene... WW vs Carl had a a lot of tension, he manhandled her a lot!

As with her fights against Marcia and the Baroness, it doesn't make sense that she struggled somewhat but it sure was lots of fun to watch.

There is alot of fans of this episode. Have done alot of roleplays going up against Carl types looking to make that bearhug last longer..

I remember this classic 1981 WW comic issue but this time, Huntress gets squeezed by the villain Lion Mane!
Must have inspired the creators years after seeing the Pied Piper episode.

Perhaps.. think all villains enjoy getting us heroines in a tight spot.. hehe

Carl is one of the luckier villains in the show. For a while there, his face was against her breasts while his hand is on her butt.

Perhaps that is why he lost.? got distracted.
