In the first case she got into with the bosses daughterbushwackerbob wrote: ↑1 year agoI remember Shannen from 90210. Her character Brenda was the wholesome girl next door from Minneapolis. As the actress became more assertive and problematic on set behind the scenes, the show began to write to that for her character on screen. Doherty was a solid actress, but as with a lot of these actresses who looked the part of a young woman in her early twenties, I imagine it got more difficult to get more adult roles as she got older, but her looks for the most part remained the same. That reputation for leaving not one, but two hit series amid backstage turmoil I am sure did no favors for her career either. Her Brenda with Luke Perry's Dylan really were the "it" couple for a while there in the late 80's, early 90's. I am sorry to hear of her passing.
I also heard about the Milano power play. Years later, besides the Tori Spelling thing, we learned apparently there was some kind of physical altercation Shannen had with another actress on 90210, Jennie Garth. I don't think it was just Tori.Dazzle1 wrote: ↑1 year agoIn the first case she got into with the bosses daughterbushwackerbob wrote: ↑1 year agoI remember Shannen from 90210.
