The Story Thus Far….
After returning from their arduous adventure on the vicious planet Kraxes, our heroines return to discover their headquarters devastated. Project DEFEAT (Disabling of Enhanced Female Enemies Against Truth) has finally struck! Valeria the Jungle Queen has already been neutralized. Lady England and her friends now wonder what has become of the Lighting League B team.
The flames continued to rage as the Lighting League’s headquarters was consumed to ash.
“Who was present before you all left?” Lady England asked.
“Seven heroes……Babariana, Insect Girl, Ghost Woman, Monolith, Invincibella, Trueblood and Prince Doragon. All of them experienced full-fledged members” Madame Nox stammered. The heroines were weary from their battle on the planet Kraxes where they had travelled to rescue their long-lost leader.
“This is my fault…” said Olivia, “If I had not got myself transported to that terrible planet, the rest of you would not have had to come rescue me” the mighty English rose said, lowering her head in disappointment.
“Nonsense!” Interrupted Madame Nox “You have done the same for us countless times!” She reminded her comrade. Lady England looked up and saw the reassuring faces of her teammates.
“We’re just happy to have you back…..I thought we lost you back there” the Texan Wonder said.
“We will fix this” said Tempest, glaring at Lady England with those piercing silver eyes of hers.
“What other members are unaccounted for” Lady England inquired.
“Jungle Queen has been difficult to get hold, even when I use magic…” Madame Nox replied.
“This is a powerful and deceptive foe we are facing, but we need to piece together what actually happened at the headquarters whilst we were gone!”
Miles away, a black demonic plane was traversing the skies. The mysterious former Lighting Leaguer and traitor, Dr Shadow sat commandingly in the cockpit with his sidekick Night Sparrow. Valeria the Jungle Queen, held captive, bound and bolted to a chair behind them. Her eyes fluttered as she finally awoke.
“Traitor!” she screamed “who else has betrayed our ranks!?” she demanded to know.
Dr Shadow was silent, focused, communicating with Night Sparrow about something of importance. Valeria hated being ignored and attempted to break free of her unbreakable bonds. It was no use but the raucous she made irritated the pilot. He quickly destroyed the Jungle Queens feistiness with the press of his finger upon a panel, sending a painful voltage of electricity through her body.
“UUUUUUUUGH! you scum!!!” she wailed and cried.
“It’s up to you Jungle cunt. You can have a comfortable trip or an uncomfortable one…”
Valeria settled down, she felt tamed, exhausted and feeble.
“So, it was you who was behind the attack on the Lighting League’s headquarters?” Remembering what her friend Surya Dewi had told her. The memory of her friend brought tears that she quickly pushed back into her ducts. She refused to show Dr Shadow weakness, but a part of her knew it was perhaps too late for that.
“Very astute of you. Not bad for a dumb blonde and Jungle savage. But I cannot take all the credit…. soon enough you will meet the entire organization”
“You were working with Modesty!”
“She was a…. colleague….”
“And that Heroine Hunter madman!”
“yes”
Valeria went wild again, banging and crashing, screaming, cursing. Vengance was her goal again, after seeing her friend and lover die in the depths of the Balinese jungles. She had thought her blood lust satisfied with Modesty and Zoltar dead. Now she had another target.
“Boy, please deal with that bitch, the noise is driving me crazy!” Dr Shadow said to his sidekick.
“Sure, thing boss.”
Night Sparrow unlaced his seatbelt and excitedly made his way to the captured Jungle Queen.
“Keep away from me you…”
Her defiant words were cut short as he swiftly injected her in the neck with a hypodermic needle. Jungle Queen remained defiant, using her primal body’s defiance to keep awake. Valeria’s vision started to blur, and the voices of Night Sparrow became like a loud echo in the background.
“She’s so resistant…. anyone else would be in la la land by now…” he said.
“Is she more relaxed?”
“yes”
“Good, have some fun boy. I will go round back and communicate with the Captain Invincible on the comms.”
As Dr Shadow left the cockpit on autopilot, Night Sparrow was overcome with glee.
“uuugh no……get…. away...” Valeria said weakly as the young athletically built 18-year-old began to molest her breasts.
“Look at you…..the queen of the jungle, now the queen of nothing…”
“uuugh…..nooo..”
“yes slut.”
“Don’t resist….you cant…..this is DEFEAT’s new submission serum. Congratulations bitch, you are the first to enjoy it!”
“no…..please….I….”
Night Sparrow hushed her as if she was a child. “You thought you was the mighty Jungle Queen….where is all your strength now?”
“uuuugh….I don’t know…..Its gone….”
“youre weak now aren’t you?”
“uuuuugh……no….”
Night Sparrow responded by squeezing her nipples viciously.
“uuuuuuugh!!” she groaned loudly.
“If you weren’t weak you would be able to fight this now…”
“I….cant….too….weak…tired…so tired”
“Then just submit….” He continued to slowly stirring his two fingers between the opening of her vaginal lips inside her pants. Night Sparrow AKA Jake Brody. A gifted athlete at college who excelled in all the sports. Football, gymnastics, wrestling; you name it. He was the wet dream of the hottest girls on campus, and he developed a taste for taming cheerleaders and feisty bookish feminist types.
“Can’t fight anymore….I lost…” yielded Valeria, his latest victim.
“Yes, you did…. which makes you my property and my slave”
“Yes….I am your slave…..” Valeria said willingly.
Night Sparrow was amazed at the success of the serum. Suddenly Dr Shadow returned noticing the bulge in his tight well fitted costume.
“Enough boy! Let’s get back to work. Take the controls….”
“Yes sir…” he sighed half disappointed but obedient. He did not want to incur the wrath of Dr Shadow. He fastened a chloroform mask to Valeria’s face which slowly sent her to dreamland.
“Boss…could I have her…..I’d like to have her as my personal slave….the submission serum is very effective”
“You tried it on her?”
“yes”
“Excellent!”
“So, can I?”
“I don’t see why not…..but it seems that DEFEAT has plans for each of these heroine sluts….but don’t worry I will put in a word for you. I don’t see why you can’t have her as your personal lover…. she’s not a Jungle Queen anymore…..she can be your Jungle Slave….You have earned it after all these years of training and service…”
“Thanks boss. I heard about the Lighting League HQs destruction. They said you was behind that.”
“I did put the plan together. It’s a long story”
“Well, we have time, and I need to up my strategy skills”
“It was not too difficult. The HQ was housing the Lighting Leagues team B whilst the other powerful heroines were off rescuing Lady England. You have probably met some of them.”
“I know of some, Barbariana is that 6,6 freakishly strong, muscle-bound bitch that comes from another dimension?”
“Yes, then there was the leader, Ghost Woman, who can become invisible and phase through walls and surfaces. The green skinned whore, Invincibella, she’s not human. Alien, near invulnerable and friend of Galactic Rangers. Insect Girl has powers of multiple creepy crawlies. Then there were the guys; weapons expert Trueblood, Monolith, a brute who can transform his skin to unbreakable alloys and materials. And of course there was Prince Doragon, Azaria’s brother and Lemurian Royalty like herself”
“That’s quite the team, and strong powerset, how did you manage that one”
“All superpowered freaks have their vulnerabilities. Coupled with the support of DEFEAT and my access to the Lighting League HQs security it was easy to put together a plan to eliminate them.”
“Really? Even with the hard hitters?”
“Trust me boy, they may have power and muscles, but it doesn’t mean shit if they have zero brains. Most of Team B are bimbos. I advised DEFEAT and Agent X, to first locate each hero and heroine using the security passcodes I gave them. They would have the element of surprise and resources that could easily enable them to destroy the B Team with the A Team off planet. At the time I believe Barbariana was doing something Lesbian and nasty with insect girl in her quarters. Prince Doragon was in the Peril Room with Ghost Woman, training and perfecting their skills. Trueblood was in the armaments room with his toys, whilst Monolith was introducing Invincibella to the Playstation 5 in the lounge area of the headquarters. Remember that the headquarters was gifted to the Lighting League by one of DEFEAT’s benefactors and supporters, the generous CEO John Marble. Together with the Nerd he developed a weaponised AI system that I recommended deploying against the B Team. Of course, the AI was experimental and needed to be bolstered by some super villain support. I did provide DEFEAT with all the weaknesses of our colleagues, physical and mental. It proved to be very fruitful indeed.”
Meanwhile back at the ruins of the Lighting League HQ, Madame Nox cordoned off the area with a magical barrier. The collapsed rubble was once world famed and one of the tallest buildings in the world, the Tower of Justice, also sometimes referred to as Justice Tower. The public was prevented from entering the scene, with police and emergency service workers on full display, keeping journalists and the media at bay, as if they were defending a castle being laid siege. But the same questions were on the heroine’s minds. What happened and where were the other male superheroes? Questions that Madame Nox was about to unveil.
“I know a time spell which can show us exactly what happened, we will be more than watchers however, we will experience everything” Madame Nox explained to her comrades.
“Do it!” said Lady England.
“Now hold on girls, the rest of us are not as susceptible to magic as you two” warned the Texan Wonder.
“It will be fine Eliza…” Tempest assured her.
“I just don’t like my mind being messed with is all”
“Eliza it will be fine…. we are aware of how many times your will was broken, and your mental weaknesses…..”
“HOW DARE YOU!” She shouted and stormed off. Lady England sighed and looked at the other heroines.
“We don’t have time for this Olivia, go and talk to her please….” Demanded Madame Nox.
Lady England followed the Texan Wonder, calling her name.
“Look…. stop…. please….I am sorry I mentioned all that in front of everyone….it was ignorant of me….I was just a bit frustrated…..I demand too much of you…”
“You just have no tact sometimes Olivia…”
“I know…. I just sometimes cannot understand how a superheroine as powerful as you, who was once top of her game, was taken down by a mere human. Ever since then, you have been plagued with doubt and a lack of confidence which never existed before”
“You forget I…. all of us are still just human…..I know Stardust, Invincibella and Barbariana ain’t from these parts…..but we have emotions….and we are women…”
“You are a formidable heroine…. powerful and strong…..let me help you, be open with me..I promise I will tone down the snarkiness”
“Deal…”
The two embraced and returned to Madame Nox who smiled at them both.
“Ready?” The nodding heads confirmed it and once again they trusted the sorceress supreme to guide them into the unknown. Her hands danced with mudras and animated fingers, causing symbols and glyphs to come alive in the air and in the minds of her comrades. It was as if they were tripping on DMT. The heroines’ consciousness melted into one as they rose above time, becoming conscious watchers.
They saw Barbariana in her quarters, laying down comfortably with Insect Girl.
“So, what’s it like where you’re from?” Insect Girl inquired. She sat upon cushions on the floor. The demi-Goddess preferred to sit and sleep on the ground, she saw no reason for the luxury of sofas and beds.
“I suppose it is not that much different to your realm, it has hierarchies and people seem to value the immaterial more than anything else” she replied in a strong direct tone with an accent that sounded like she was from Europe. Barbariana was a tower of a female, her dark bronze skin allowed her reddish eyes to gleam. Her hair was shortish and its colour matched her eyes. She hailed from a dimension of magic and myth, where things of story were reality. She belonged to a warrior tribe that was born from the seed of a fiery Volcanic God named Korvar. A sorcerer banished her to Earth during a battle and Insect Girl found her very exotic, and more masculine than any man she had met before.
“And what of your story? You have never told me” asked Barbariana.
“I was….I am a geneticist…..my research was focused on the insect world….using their attributes to enhance human physiology. I synthesized a serum, but my funders were too close, and too keen on using it for weapons research. Someone in my lab also leaked my project to a terrorist organization called the Cabal. To prevent the serum falling into the wrong hands, I took it myself. I almost died but it forever transformed my physiology. After that I could manifest multiple powers of multiples insects as you know, but I still don’t even know the full extent of my abilities! Unfortunately a lot of people feel my powers are…..how should I say…..Icky!”
“Icky?”
“Yes, like disgusting or repulsive”
“I definitely do not find you repulsive…..” She grinned. “And your powers have proven to be most beneficial in combat. On Eldrium we perhaps are more accepting of raw and savage things, and you are a formidable warrior.”
“Thank you Barbariana……Oh…. what is your real name? Barbariana is a mouthful, and we don’t need to use code names all the time…”
“my name is Rell.”
“Easy name”
“And yours?”
“Well, its Korean, Park Bo Bae, but you can call me Bobby.”
Barbariana’s hand glided over the parts of Bobby’s insectoid armoured costume.
“This is an interesting material” she inquired. “And your body can manifest this armour?”
“Yes….it is secreted from my body…. Durable…..I can create various grades of hardness. I do like its appearance and as the costume can emanate from my body I can create various designs…..”
Barbariana was fascinated as her hand continued to caress her armour.
“I can feel you, on my skin, underneath.” Bobby said smiling.
“Really? Fascinating.”
The costume was hard yet tightly moulded around Bobby’s slimly taut body in a colour of dark green, and it was a unified body suit, it covered her feet in a way that it formed two toes and the mask shrouded her face exposing her mouth and covering her eyes with an wide insect like visor. Antennas grew from her head and moved creepily as if they were alive.
“In particular, a lot of folks find these creepy…..but I can retract them completely” Bobby explained.
“What is their function?” Barbariana asked.
“They give me telepathic abilities, nothing as powerful as Tempest, but they also help me analyse environments and heighten my senses to danger.”
“Well as you can see from my costume, I don’t wear much” said the mighty Amazon of Eldrium. Barbariana smiled as she gestured to her perfectly formed muscular frame. Her physique rivalled a champion body builder, each part of her anatomy was large and long at the same time. Insect Girl truly looked like an insect in her presence for she was petite. Barbariana’s crotch was covered in a gold plate that appeared glued to that part of her body. Golden caps covered her large firm mounds. Even though they were covered by her attire, Insect Girl could clearly see how natural and tight they were. Bobby found her glorious as she starred at her gold Tiara, and she found her more impressive than even Captain Invincible.
“So, my dear Bobby, tell me more about these powers of yours.”
“well…..I don’t want to intimidate you”
“It takes a lot to intimidate me, tell me!”
“Ok….so I have pheromones which can affect both men and woman…”
“I take it you are not using them now”
“no…not at all.”
“do not worry young one…..I trust you…”
“I also have another ability, but it may repulse you”
“what is it?”
“My saliva…..I can activate a chemical in it at will and its quite pleasurable and somewhat psychoactive….”
“I see…..well……my metabolism on Earth is as powerful as some of your most superpowered mortals…”
“Ok. Why don’t we try something…” Insect Girl said smiling, slipping closer to her Herculean friend. For a moment, Barbariana felt overpowered as Bobby joined her lips with hers. She tasted her sweetness and enjoyed dancing her tongue inside her cavity. When they parted their mouths, Barbariana felt a strong sensation take her, it was a tingling drunkardness, and she found it both hyper focus enhancing and enjoyable.
“wow…..I am indeed effected……but this feeling could also enhance our abilities in battle” she said.
“Yes it could…..but I can’t kiss everyone in the team….” Bobby laughed and continued to worship the muscular firmness of Rell’s unbelievable body, licking and kissing her form as the psychoactive wetness that coated her tongue conquered the God like woman even more. Lower and lower she travelled, until her she realized that her most vulnerable spot was walled with a thin piece of gleaming metal.
“I am afraid that area is magically barred” Rell explained.
“How do I unlock it…..”
“The magical enchantment will only allow someone access if they have beaten me in battle or caused me to unwillingly submit, if I give you the magical password that unlocks it and those two precursors are not met, I will be unaffected, but if they are, then I will lose my strength which Korvar blessed me with. I won’t be able to use my strength against you for a period, and I would instead feel immense weakness before you, despite my size and muscles.”
“That does sound delicious. But I would rather not fight you Rell”
“You don’t have to…..just make me submit….I will resist you with all my will!”
“Bobby smiled and released her pheromones from the pores in her skin as she continued to smear Barbariana’s body with her chemically enhanced salivia. The intoxicated delirium soon outpaced her amazing metabolism and she found herself giving in to the pleasure, she found herself falling under Insect Girl’s control.
“What was that you said about being strong?” Bobby smiled.
“uuugh…..I can’t….fight it……it’s so intoxicating, overhwleming”
“I think by now you should be under my control…”
“Oh Goddesses…. you’d make a great villain!”
“So, give me your password then….” Bobby asked whilst continuously sucking parts of the Rell’s body.
“my…..the…..password to my chastity…..its……Korvonus!” Barbariana yielded.
“Korvonus!” Bobby repeated with eagerness. To her delight, the golden plate that surrounded Barbariana’s sex, dematerialized in a glittering green of diamond shaped lights. Her vaginal lips were very prominent, the labia and clit were thick and juicy as it if was phallic. A shiny wetness oozing and dripping very subtly from her slit. Bobby wasted no time and began tasting her, washing her clitoral flesh in her ecstatic inducing saliva. Much of her psychoactive secretions had already found their way into Barbariana who was quite conscious of what was being done to her, enjoying every minute of being taken.
“Uuuuugh I feel so under your power….” She smiled. Bobby responded by increasing her speed. The mighty warrior of Eldrium was strong in body, but her sexual stamina was weak as she climaxed, arching her back violently. When her writhing ended, Rell lay breathing heavily with her eyes closed. Using her armour she manifested a long hard phallus, with the perfect girth for Barbariana. The stem was erect, shiny and green like the rest of Insect Girls costume. Barbariana just looked at it half in awe and half with fear. Neither emotion did she feel often but she was soaked enough with her juices for Bobby to slowly thrust her way through the warrior heroine’s elastic folds, forcing her sex to mould around her tool.
“UUUUUUUUUUUUGH!” Barbariana screamed, unable to resist.
“Wow, you didn’t last long….”
“I…Guess not…..I have never felt so dominated in my life……your chemicals……pheromones make me feel so feminine and enslaved by your power….” She confessed as Bobby continued thrusting.
“Not bad for a little Insect, eh? I can take down a mighty warrior Goddess”
“ooooh…. indeed, you can…”
On the higher levels of the Lighting League’s HQ, the hero known as Monolith was fully engrossed in his video game. Invincibella was hovering in the air, floating slowly onto the large sofa a few metres away from him. She had come from the kitchen and had a cup of warm coffee in her hands.
“Can’t sleep?” Monolith asked, eyeing her cup.
“No I am fine James…. caffeine has little effect on my body..” she replied in a very formal and stiff tone. “I just like the taste.”
“I see…. you don’t find it bitter?”
“On Rogar Prime, there is a beverage called Legarian Slurp, it’s a lot more bitter and stronger than this, perhaps fatal to humans even…”
Monolith gave her a surprised look and then paused his game.
“Would you like to play?”
“What is it?”
“a video game?”
“ah I see…..the games on your planet are so primitive and sedentary…….on my home planet of Arkanaria, we have holographic simulation games, you have to actually immerse in and use your whole body. That technology was used for our peril training room, transferred from my ship”
“Wow that’s pretty advanced…. I haven’t used it yet but it sounds cool. I would love to see your planet, maybe you can take me sometime”
“wish I could…..we are currently at war with the Skroth empire….if not occupied. Our advanced civilization has been completely devastated but our membership with the Galactic Federation has been most helpful”
“That gives you protection from the Star Rangers…..like Stardust..”
“Yes……I was lucky for them. They rescued me during a Skroth raid….my family was killed….”
“I am truly sorry….”
Bella was silent, staring blankly at the TV screen, the games console control pad laying lifeless in her hand. Monolith was fast to snap her out of her traumatic reverie.
“what say we play this primitive game then” guiding her through the controls and flow of a fighting game known as Doom Fighter 3. Monolith picked a large monstrous Orc character named Bor. Bella selected a slender female Elvish fighter named Darya. The first round was easily won by Monolith, he tried to give her a chance due to her basic gaming skills. He was an experienced gamer and even competed online. Bella quickly adapted and defeated his character in the second round with her agile movements and special moves that she absorbed into her repertoire with ease. Monolith looked at her half annoyed, and half impressed. The third round saw his large burly character beaten again with a 40-hit combo followed by a murder move that had him impaled by the Elvish girl’s lighting spear.
“YOU WIN” the machine said, and Monolith was silent.
“A child’s game….” Bella said in a bored tone and Monolith could only laugh.
“I suppose from where you are from this is medieval. You should have been a bit nicer; my character was green skinned…. like you!”
Bella was indeed jade tanned; her ears were pointy, and her powers were a fluke. The gravity on her planet was many times that of Earth but this made the average Arkanarian many times stronger than the average human. In addition, she possessed a unique gene that some of the inhabitants of Arkanaria were born with. This gene was only activated by exposure to the Solar System’s sun and stars. In addition to her immense strength, as well as her invulnerability, flight and other abilities. Despite her awesome power, she was 5,10, modelesque and athletic, wearing a tight blue costume, white skirt and a long capital letter I upon her chest and various symbols in her language. She wore a cape behind her.
“Does my skin colour cause you distress?”
“No not at all!”
“I see…I have noticed during my time here that some humans, even those we have rescued found my appearance to be disturbing…”
“Generally, humans have a long history of conflict and bigotry.”
“yes I have done some research on your planet…. curious….I am green, yet I have found it fascinating that you planet’s human species has multiple shades of colour. On my planet we are much more homogenous”
“That’s right….my ancestry for example is probably from West Africa…. but I was born here in the US” Monolith explained.
“I have read the history…..the cultural diversity and differences in appearance has often created conflicts…”
“well its deeper than that. It’s a long discussion”
“I see. I will continue my reading. Human culture is interesting. Curious…..your power transforms your appearance?”
“that’s right, that’s right….I can change my skin to various materials, mainly the hardest and most durable kinds of metal and stone.”
“It is an impressive power…..but I have noticed that despite your transformed appearance, the people of Earth never appear unnerved in your presence when compared to mine….”
“Yeah…well….they know I am human…”
“Yes, but am I not a hero of the Lighting League too?”
“You are….”
“Then why the fearful reactions?”
“Bella…. humans fear what is new……you will have to give some of them time to get used to a being from another planet”
“hmmmm, but Stardust has never received the same reaction…”
“That’s because she looks human….”
“I see…..so this would be considered an example of racism?”
“errrr…. well…as I said…..let’s give humanity a chance…”
“I will and I am.”
“Cool. Shall we play another game?”
“Why not!” Bella smiled.
In the Peril Room, Ghost Woman decided to challenge Prince Doragon to her rigorous training simulation course known only as the Impossible 500, a set of simulations that put the trainees through the most unbelievable scenarios where all seemed lost. Ghost Woman developed the simulation to challenge would be leaders and Prince Doragon often displayed a knack for command being a military leader in his underwater kingdom of Lemuria. He often challenged Ghost Woman, as if he wanted her leadership position, or his own team.
Ghost woman wore a tight snow coloured costume that covered her entire body with white boots. She wore a sleek white masked that shielded her eyes, and she often covered her dark hair with a white hood that flowed into a cape. Her powers would sound harmless in an organization of omega level heroes and heroines. However, her ability to become invisible and phase through walls and objects made her the perfect heroine for stealth missions and coupled with her advanced martial arts training; she was probably one of the most deadliest members of the Lighting League.
Doragon’s skin was an artic tan, and his hair was silver and long. His long muscular frame was decorated with natural markings, clusters of dots that started at the neck and travelled down faintly upon the sides of his torso, and the sides of his legs. His 6-foot frame made him a sight to behold for during this training he wore naught but shining silver pants, made from a Lemurian material that was neither too soft nor too armoured. His features were sharp, and he was a known womanizer and enjoyed the infatuation that surface dweller females had for him. The undersea heart throb however was not interested in Ghost Woman, he had a sense of professionalism that caught the eye of Lady England who always saw him as a potential leader. She did have a soft spot for him and possibly more than that. But his focus was on proving his worth as a leader, of both Lemuria and the Lighting League.
“So, this mission will really challenge your resolve Doragon….”
“Bring it on!”
“You might regret that.”
“Just brief me…I have gotten used to how sadistic you are….”
Ghost Woman smiled. There was always respect between them even though he was her potential rival. He had challenged her often on missions, but her determination always won his admiration.
“So, an eco-terrorist group calling themselves the Gaian Liberation Army has armed themselves with a unique chemical weapon and has taken over a World Economic Forum conference of world leaders. They are threatening to unleash the chemical in a lethal gaseous form that will kill everyone in the building. The terrorists have contacted governments threatening to use them if their demands are not met…”
“What are their demands?” Doragon inquired.
“Nothing short of world peace, preservation of the environment, reform of the world economy, global nuclear disarmament to name a few.”
“I think you need to get a writer to help you with your simulations. I feel like joining these terrorists” Doragon joked, “they are simply not evil enough!”
“Yes, I predicted this would be your reaction, and that is exactly why I chose this kind of a threat”
“Well, their demands are quite acceptable. Look at the destruction surface dwellers have wrought on the Earth in a short space of 100 years.”
“You are not wrong, but the issue here is the use of violence and the potential loss of life. More importantly, a chemical attack on the WEF may lead global chaos. Their act of terrorism cancels out their intentions, goals or utopian ideology, I don’t care how fluffy and hippy they may sound…”
“I am a lot older than you Ghost Woman, policing the world is a limiting perspective…one that will eventually create a situation where, we heroes, become the villains…”
“This is a political discussion….” Ghost Woman sighed. “Let’s focus on the task at hand. This simulation is designed to test the participant in the areas of leadership, quick thinking and taking charge. Many Lighting Leaguers have failed this simulation.”
“You really are a cruel woman, it’s like trying to stop a bullet when it has already been fired” Doragon jested.
“That would be an easy task for you considering your skin’s level of durability…” Ghost Woman teased. “The terrorists want their demands met but have given the world’s leaders 24 hours to comply. Our goal is to rescue the hostages and clear the building and do so with stealth. Something that you are not known for Doragon”
“What makes you say that?”
“Your appearance and frame, and your insistence on strutting around in your briefs draws much attention.”
“I see that the mighty Ghost Woman is easily distracted...”
The mistress of stealth shook her head and face palmed as Doragon began his warmup, stretching and mobilizing his body.
“Let’s do it! Enough talk!!”
“Ok……MAIDEN! Initiate Impossible 500 simulation!”
“Intialising…” said a metallic feminine voice. The training arena suddenly transformed into the inside of a building. Doragon found himself inside an air vent. He found it most constricting and claustrophobic.
“By the Kraken!”
“Sorry Doragon……stealth training remember?”
Doragon sighed and began to slither his body, being careful to not make noise that would startle the armed terrorists below.
“How’s it going Prince of Lemuria? I think you’re out of your depth, literally a fish out of water!” Laughed Ghost Woman.
“That’s racist!” Doragon murmured. Closing his eyes, Doragon accessed his sonar and mild telepathic abilities allowed him to pinpoint where the terrorists were located below and around him, even behind the walls of the building. He predicted that there were no more than 20 hostile individuals and 50 hostages. The Prince of Lemuria showed leadership level deduction as he planned to first dispose of the Gaian commander. Her name was the Green Woman, and she was in the conference hall with the most prominent government ministers. Before that, he also knew that he had to deprive the terrorist group of their chemical weapons. All hostages were kept in rooms armed with the chemical agent.
“So, I take it these terrorists are willing to commit suicide for their cause?”
“That’s right”
“That’s almost admirable”
“Again, with that disturbing tone!”
Doragon entered on of the rooms via a shaft on the upper levels to the conference hall. Gliding quietly along the cold floor he found his way to a room occupied by terrorists. He realized that he would have to find an approach that was not loud or heavy handed. As a guard left the room to walk down the corridor he saw his chance. One blow from his mighty fist sent the terrorist to sleep. Stealing his uniform he adopted a disguise, disposing of the terrorist’s unconscious body in a bathroom on the same floor.
“Nice approach!” Ghost Woman said with admiration. It was obvious to her what he planned to do.
Outside the drama of the Peril Room training, Captain Trueblood was in his Armory. Sharpening blades, loading guns and arrows. His body and face was always masked in red and black in a quasi-military outfit that gave him a sinister presence, and he was often quiet and recluse, an introverted yet efficient member of the team. A master of weapons and strategy, he had no superpowers but always proved to be a challenge for even the most omega level villain, or hero for that matter. He was a former Navy Seals operative, international special missions’ soldier and received specialised training as part of a secret government programme to train the best assassins and killers. His reputation in the world of espionage was also well know as well has his mastery of all forms of martial arts and he had a natural talent for wielding offensive weapons. This had previously caught the eye of Dr Shadow who originally recruited him, although Lady England was not comfortable with such an individual in their ranks due to his shady past. The stage was set, and Madame Nox and her fellow teammates were watching the scenes unfold before their eyes. They hoped for the best, that the destruction of their headquarters did not spell doom and death for the Lighting League’s Team B!
Meanwhile thousands of miles above them, Dr Shadow was piloting towards a rendezvous point. Nightsparrow wanted to know more, it was as if he was turned on by the defeat of his fellow superheros! Dr Shadow admired his sidekick’s eagerness and continued to narrate the blow-by-blow account of Team B’s downfall.
“We assembled the most suitable villains for the task. Doragon was in the peril room. We hacked the simulation and shut down the safety protocols. Ramping up the difficulty level also made it certain that even the Prince of Lemuria would be overwhelmed. Ghost Woman’s meddling was predictable, but we had a suitable surprise for her too. Invincibella and Monolith however were a problem, but the element of surprise would also mean that our villains could contain them. Toxicon was most suited to dispose of Monolith and Invincibella, well. We had another surprise for her! One of our stronger drones and Nano Nightmare would deal with Barbariana and Insect Girl, and just in case we had a backup for the half naked warrior Goddess. That left Trueblood. In fact, he was the most dangerous of them all, the dark horse, mainly due to his intelligence which is why I recruited him years ago. I had hoped he would be joining our cause but his ideological mistrust for power and government made him undesirable. It probably comes from his Native American background, his years on the reservation and his disdain for his superiors during those old missions he did for the government as part of Operation Gorgon. I dispatched his old enemies, Exterminator and his partner the Exterminatrix, just for him!”
“Wow. And I have always wondered who Silver Sentinel is, under that armour. Or is he a robot?” Nightsparrow wondered.
“You will find out soon, and don’t be such a fanboy. One day I expect you to be the new Dr Shadow!”
Thousands of miles below, the Senior Lighting League members were still locked in trance, experiencing the tragedy unfold before their eyes. The first attack occurred just as Dr Shadow explained it. Project DEFEAT’s lethal adversarial AI system was deployed, infecting the Justice Tower and their MAIDEN (Machine Artificial Intelligence Defence Enforcement Network) system. In the peril room, the Impossible 500 simulation became the eyes and ears of the adversarial AI network, and the human that was controlling it. Doragon’s stealth was shortlived, as Gaian terrorists sprayed the vents with bullets, exposing his position. A grenade was launched blowing him out of his hiding place, dropping him to the ground of the conference building. He knew something was wrong as the terrorists continued to shower him with bullets. The lead just bounced off his skin for his durability was effective. The AI however was adaptive, transforming the bullets to armour piercing rounds which began to tear his skin.
“AAAAAAAAAAAARGH” he screamed, and the noise was enough for Ghost Woman to intervene immediately. She tried to open the doors, but MAIDEN was unresponsive. Without thinking she phased through, and then maintained her spectral form, passing through the terrorists like the wind, removing vital organs, killing them one by one. She hacked through the jungle of deadly NPCs and helped Doragon to his feet, blood was pouring from his uncountable wounds, but even as a bloody mess in his shredded disguised, he was still charming.
“Can you walk Doragon?”
“Of course, I am already slowly healing. I’ve never been a damsel before; do I get a kiss?”
Ghost woman would have returned a smile, but the interaction was interrupted by the appearance of the Green Woman.
“Release the fumes!” the plant mistress ordered, and the chemical weapons exploded. A violent gas slowly caused everyone in the building to mutate. Hostages and terrorists collapsed to the ground in excruciating pain as their skin and bodies bulged and malformed, revealing them as zombified plant and fungi infested creatures.
“I guess I failed the Impossible 500 test then?” Doragon laughed.
“You take the Green Woman; I will dispose of as many of these monsters as I can!”
“Who is leading who?”
“No time for jokes my Prince!”
Project DEFEAT did not simply have an adversarial AI system, they also deployed their robotic drones which entered the fray through Barbariana’s room cutting in on the love making session between her and Insect Girl.
“What in fucks name!” barked Bobby as she retracted her green phallus.
“By Korvar! Its him!” gasped Barbariana, her gold pieces of armour reappearing.
With the walls blown apart, three figures stood amid dust and rubble. A very large imposing metal automaton readied itself for battle. The robotic humanoid looked as though it was designed exactly for killing enhanced humans. But next to him was a dark figure, robed and hooded like something out of a folk horror movie, the kind Bobby normally enjoyed watching, but this was too real and unreal for her liking. She was terrified, almost paralyzed to the spot from the sight of this entity, for she could see it had no body in those long garms, and his face was a black abyss with two shining diamonds for eyes, like stars in the night sky. Bobby instantly knew that Barbariana was referring to this horrific sight that seemed to be a man.
“That is the Gloom Master, he banished me here!” Barbariana explained to a frozen Insect Girl. The Third figure Bobby only just noticed for she was distracted by Barbariana’s arch nemesis. It was her own rival, the supervillain known as Nano Nightmare. He appeared the least threatening of the three, slim if not skinny, wearing googles and his blue-coloured nano suit looked ridiculous but allowed him to shrink his body to the size of a molecule and perhaps even smaller. The attack was instant as he downsized to the scale of a bowling ball, zipping forward crashing his body into Insect Girls stomach as if he was a colliding particle. Bobby flew like a baseball, many feet away from Barbariana who called out her name but was unable to aid her new lover and comrade, for the drone had its powerful restraining arms around her.
In the Lounge, an army of medium sized robots burst through the 26th floor windows of the building. With the shields and defences, Invincibella and Monolith’s gaming experience was cut short.
“What in the hyper verse!” Blurted Bella
“My Playstation!” Yelped Monolith.
“Focus James! We are under attack!”
“What happened to our defences!”
“No time to think about that”
Monolith immediate transformed his skin to some of the hardest metals know to man. He cut through the drones like butter, and Invincibella joined in, pulling torsos and limbs apart. It took mere minutes to reduce the machine army to a heap of junk.
“It’s not over yet boy!” slurped Toxicon, a villain made of lethal chemical substances. His entire body was a mound of green sludge.
“Careful Bella! Don’t touch him!” James warned remembering the villain in MAIDEN’s files.
“They do not call me Invincibella for nothing!” she said ignoring his warning, soaring at him like a spinning tornado in the air. She drilled through him as if she ran through a piece of jelly, arriving on the other side unharmed thanks to her invulnerability. Her uniform on the other hand was slightly dissolved, in tatters from the burning erosion caused by Toxicon’s body.
“You stupid Green Bitch!” Toxicon said.
“Now that’s racist!” yelled Monolith. Thundering his fists at Toxicon, blowing off his head. The villain easily reformed it again and again, as his opponent continued to strike. James realised his hands were starting to singe and stepped back a bit to create some distance. Bella possessed enhanced sight and combined with her scientific knowledge and high IQ she was able to deduce that Toxicon, had a weakness. The substances in his chemical make-up could be countered! If only they had the time to do their research, they would have been prepared. But the complexity of the situation as well as the surprised attack put them at a serious disadvantage.
“Monolith! Transform to rock, you need to find s substance that counteracts this skin!”
Toxicon unleashed his sludge like long thick tendrils or a furious jet of deadly green liquid like uncontrollable water emerging from a firefighter’s hose. Monolith immediately morphed his skin to a hardened rocky substance which could withstand the smothering acid that suffocated his entire body.
“Let’s go again!” He goaded, emerging from Toxicon’s attack unscathed except for the ribbons of steam that curled off his back. Bella thought of Truebloods armory and the weapons he possessed for almost any situation. A Cryo Grenade! She thought. That will subdue him! She was already devising a plan which would involve leading the toxic creature all the way to Trueblood’s room. The heroes had comms on their costumes and in their ears.
“Trueblood! We are under attack, we are going to lead Toxicon to your armory, we need you to be ready!” she whispered. Unfortunately for her, the comms was disabled by the hacking, and Trueblood had his own problems. Suddenly a larger drone, much like the one that was incapacitating Barbariana; appeared. Hovering towards Bella. It spoke strangely with a human voice.
“Toxicon, stop fucking around!” It said as it opened its chest. The drone took something out of it and threw it to the monstrous sludge that was his comrade. But that was not all he had in his chest, he had something for Bella, a gift from beyond the stars and Bella’s blue eyes widened with panic for what she saw.
Trueblood was always 10 steps ahead, even in a surprise attack. A product of his training with Operation Gorgon. He knew what was about to unfold as soon as he heard the first rumbles from. He quickly shut down the lights in his armory. When the Exterminator and the Exterminatrix entered his domain, it was in fact they who were disadvantaged for Trueblood watched them in the shadows like a tracker, a hunter, a predator analysing his prey. The two assassins were dressed in black and white, their signature colours. Their bodies padded and decorated with weapons and compartments, gadgets and toys, all ready for murder and mayhem. Their entire faces were covered with masks, painted with white Xs, but Trueblood also knew that their masks gave them night vision, maybe even X ray vision and so he had to attack fast, and attack he did as a shadowy blur. The two of them were outmatched by his speed and superior fighting ability. Only Martial Girl came close to his fighting ability, but she was still a rookie, currently missing after a failed mission in Singapore. He fought as if he had more than four limbs, like a Hindu God who would be at many places at once. The Exterminator was a legend in the assassin community but both he and his female student struggled against Trueblood’s movements. He pounded his fists into their faces to startle them whilst he grabbed a gun from concealed drawer. Before the bullets could be blasted from the chamber, the assassins moved as soon as they heard the click. Such was the speed of their brains and extent of their experience. But they were not ready for Trueblood’s flash grenade which obliterated their night vision. Now it was a game of chess, in the dark, around a labyrinth of furniture, with bullets for the pieces. The back-and-forth exchange of shots was easily contained by Trueblood precision, but he knew he would have to eventually close the distance with his custom-made survival knife, a weapon had used many times before. It often made Lady England squeamish despite the horrors of war she witnessed during World War II. There was no dialogue between assassins, no jests, no boasting. The three of them were more killers than hero and villain. Trueblood’s ears suddenly was flooded with the crackling and distorted voice of Invincibella through the comms. He barely got a sense of what she was saying as he was abruptly cut out. But it was enough for him, he knew where he needed to be.
Back in the Peril Room, the training simulation was rising in difficulty, but Ghost Woman had the army of infested humans under control, but it seemed that there was an endless supply of hostile NPCs.
“Doragon! I think the simulation will keep sending more and more opponents! There will be no end!”
Doragon was too busy playing with the Green Woman, mistress of plant life who had torn the floor to pieces, summoning vines, and overgrown carnivorous plants with gaping mouths, hungry for flesh. The durability of the Prince of Lemuria served him well and he was almost completely healed from the bullets. It was difficult to get through to the Green Woman who was shielded by a wall of thorned vines. The behemoth Venus fly traps attacked alongside multiple tendrils which whipped and lashed at Doragon. If only I was near water, I could summon aid, and my hydromancy would be more effective! He realized that the pipes would have to be sufficient. Focusing his mental telepathy on what little water he could muster around the architecture, the embedded piping burst, crumbling pieces of the plaster and concrete onto the ground. The water moulded into sharp spears which he threw like arrows at the Green Woman, lacerating her wall of vines. He ran at her, flinging and catapulting watery projectiles, and was soon within a few feet of the computer-generated villainess, smashing his elbow into her face.
Then there was a noise above, like a sonic boom, and the figure shot through the ceiling like a blue comet, landing in the Peril room in all his glory. His appeared like a shining knight in his armour and Ghost Woman breathed a sigh of relief to see her comrade, the Silver Sentinel! She always knew there was a human man underneath, for some suspected he was a machine.
“Quickly, get yourself to the lower levels! Barbariana and Insect Girl need your help!”
She did not even hesitate as he began to descend through the floor, phasing like an apparition. Her body had only reached hip level when the Sentinel kneeled and stabbed his fingers into the ground. A pulsing wave of vibrating energy consumed the entire room, effecting the floor and her powers. Ghost Woman choked blood as her body was servered in two.
“NOOOOOOOOOOO!” Wailed Doragon.
“MAIDEN, initiate God level protocol” Silver Sentinel commanded the Lighting Leagues AI servant, which was now under his full control thanks to the adversarial hacking.
“TRAITOR!” Thundered Doragon. The Silver Sentinel had never seen the charming Prince of Lemuria so angry, but his advance was halted by the God level computer generated Green Woman, who ran her vines through his back, eviscerating through his torso from the other side, lifting him above the ground. He weakly reeled his body and turned to look back at the Green Woman, then bare aware, he hobbled his head downwards and saw the bloody vines which had impaled him. How?! He was befuddled with so much confusion. The Sentinel’s hacking attack had truly taken the NPC threats to a God level, and the Prince of Lemuria was unprepared.
“Why?” He stammered feebly, his face and gritted teeth red with blood and rage.
“Why not” the armoured hero coldly replied in a well pronounced British accent.
“I…..Kill……You! Doragon stammered in pain. Silver Sentinel admired his passion but had little time for talk. He waved his hand like a wand, and Doragon suffered a similar fate to his fearless leader, his body decapitated in two as the vines pulled him apart. The Sentinel’s silver armour was no longer shining, he had the honour of being showered with Lemurian royal blood and the man behind the metal mask was smiling sadistically.
Barbariana could feel the inhuman weight of the robot that locked her head inside his grip but a metal automaton was no match for a daughter of Korvar. With her muscles tensing she appeared even more hulking than usual, forcing the machine on the back foot, slowly squirming herself out of its hold as if they were dancing a milonga in slow motion. Tearing off one limb, she beat the metal monster into submission with its own arm.
“Come Gloom Master! You are next!” She yelled. He responded in a deathly deep adagio.
“I am surprised you are so eager to fight me, you do not know what I did to your tribe after I banished you.” He opened his cloak, a vortex in in itself, a realm of punishment, horror, fear and defeat for all those he had claimed and vanquished. Rell saw faces and heard voices of her community, screaming her name.
“By Korvar!”
“Your Korvar was nowhere! He fears my God! My God feeds on the fear in this realm, even the humans I have allied myself with, do not know what is in store for them!”
Her blood boiled like bubbles of lava as she sprinted her bare feet on the floor, hurtling her body forward, reaching for the Gloom Master. His somewhat ethereal nature made him difficult to touch, for he was more of a villain suited for those that had mastery of the arcane arts such as Madame Nox or the Occultist. There was also something almost omnipotent about him and Barbariana’s greatest strength here was not simply her uncanny power, enough to juggle cars and uproot a building; but rather it was her lack of fear, something that the Gloom Master would normally make a meal off. But what was her weakness was her anger for she lanced her straight punch with no fight IQ and the cloaked creature flipped her aside. Gloom Master still knew that fighting a demi Goddess of Eldrium would be impossible for her durability protected her to certain levels of magic and certain spells. They could fight for 100 years, and both would still be standing, with no end and no victor. But he knew her weaknesses, thanks to the intelligence gathered by the hacked MAIDEN system, and the intel from Dr shadow. The security on the building also incorporated magical shields deployed by Madame Nox, but both the Gloom Master and the traitor Occultist combined their efforts to weaken her protective charms. They were unable to completely destroy them, for the Mistress of the arcane arts did not earn her title for nothing. It was her absence from Earth during her journey to the planet Kraxes to save Lady England. This added a pinch of extra vulnerability to her magical shields which for the longest time had been like a turtle’s shell around the Justice Tower. Project DEFEAT’s espionage was all encompassing, covering all dimensions. Babariana had more than one weakness, she was a slave to her emotions and the God Korvar’s law.
Many bulldozed walls down the corridor, Insect Girl was easily managing the Nano Nightmare. He melded his shrinking abilities into a fighting style which made him feel almost translucent, appearing and disappearing with unsuspecting attacks. Insect Girls senses could sense him all around her, no matter how small he became she found it child’s play, avoiding his efforts and slapping his skinny ass to the ground. Bobby was a superior fighter and was vastly stronger than him, thanks to the Insectoid serum that altered her DNA. But Nano Nightmare was most lethal not when he attempted to engage in physical combat. He was a living weapon when he was no more than the size of a germ or particle. But her sense was acute, and her antennas alerted her sharply even when he was shrunken to the size of a molecule. Her fist, landed again, this time crushing his nose between her armoured knuckles, and he fell back crying like a bloody nosed bully on the school playground. But he was not alone. Gloom Master’s omnipotence was such that he could be in more than one place at a time, at least in a dreamlike form. While he battled endlessly with the unbeatable endurance of Korvar’s daughter, he sent a mystical message, vibrating musically down the hallway, finding its target.
Nano Nightmare was out for the count, succumbing to Insect Girls scorpion blast, an attack that mimicked the sting of a human sized scorpion, unleashing poison into the victim’s body. It can cause instant death to most non powered humans, but she was careful with the level of intensity, making sure that her opponent was merely knocked unconscious. She embodied the ideal of a hero, always holding back and refraining from taking another’s life, or perhaps it was her Buddhist upbringing? It is no wonder that Lady England saw great potential in her. Trueblood however always saw heroic ethics as a rigid strategic defect, one that would lead to their ultimate defeat. His predictions would prove correct as Gloom Master’s magic infected the environment around Insect Girl, polluting her anthropod senses. The dark vibrations touched her antennas, like a strike of a chiming tuning fork, and she felt like a bemused deer listening to its music. Turning in the direction of Barbariana, the cloaked villain had ensnared her insectoid vision, melting her environment into a split-second image of Barbariana, beaten, bloody and helpless in the arms of the Gloom Master, his black misty hands seeping inside her sex like a shadowy shaft.
“Rell….No!”
But it was an illusion. The true threat of the dark one’s omnipotent spell was with the sleeping body of Nano Nightmare. Shadowy strings possessing him, raising him by his limbs as if he was a broken puppet, allowing him to stand up straight behind Insect Girl, magical hijacking slowly taking root in his senses and his mind. Bobby was able to shake out of the dreamlike vision, as her insectoid senses adapted, warning her of a magical attack, but she was bedazzled by what she saw and a part of her wondered if it was real. She was overcome with an intense desire to aid her lover but before she could rush to her rescue, Nano Nightmare had already entered her nose, travelling to her brain. A sniffling itchiness took hold of her sinuses, like an intense rhinitis and soon she felt like she had mice in her brain. They were more like rats, and as she sneezed aggressively, Nano Nightmare exited, riding her mucous and manifesting again full sized, before collapsing back to the ground. The Gloom Master was done with him. He lay in a pile of pus and goop. Did that come from my body? Was he inside me all this time?! Bobby thought. Then she felt a knife in her brain, and her body clenched and clamped with fear.
Gloom Master’s body took physical form, no longer a black hole void but the form of a man, with an obsidian body that appeared both a liquidesque sliminess and obscure in a phantasmagoric cloudiness. His entire body looked as though it was constantly moving, like swirling pools of water, full of energy, full of life, or perhaps full of death. He fought Barbariana as best he could, trading blows. But he knew he would never be able to surpass her sheer force, and it was his magic that allowed him to dance toe to toe with her. Insect Girl staggered in the room, walking like an extra from a zombie movie, tears of blood seeping from her nose.
“Ugh…..Rell…..Help…”
Her mask and antennas dematerialized, exposing her visage and it was the first time Rell had seen her new lover’s cute elfin face. It would have been perfect, but her eyes were bloodshot, with gore trickling from them. Her arm was reached out and the demi Goddess wondered if she was blind as she stepped aimlessly. She rushed to her aid, her hands around Bobby’s shoulders.
“It’s ok Barbariana, I won’t kill her yet. But her life is in your hands” Gloom Master revealed.
“What do you want Gloom Master? Have you not taken enough from me?”
“No not half as much mighty warrior. The worm is making its way through her brain, it is fitting don’t you think? Her name is Insect Girl after all!”
“Worm?!”
“The Moz Ash worms of the planet Kraxes are an interesting specimen. Nano Nightmare’s job was to leave a present inside your little bug girl there. Normally the Xolath, would force it into a host’s ear, a very painful experience. So, rest be assured, she did not suffer……too much”
“I would kill you…”
“Even if you could, your friend will die instantly, for I command the Moz Ash worm. It has embedded itself in her brain and I can command Insect Girl to do anything I wish; she is my slave!”
“You have won Gloom Master, please I beg you, spare her, have some mercy” Barbariana pleaded with all her heart and even with the expressionless void that was his face she could feel that the Gloom Master was enjoying this moment, he almost seemed to be eating her suffering and grief like a delicious 3 course meal.
“All you need to do is submit to me and tell me the magical word that will give me power over your mind and body!”
She felt exposed and vulnerable, she tried to find a way out of this situation but never had she felt such concern for someone, she had been so intimate with. He knows my secret, he knows everything about me, despite all my strength and power I am powerless to stop him.
“Ok Gloom Master…just spare her….the word is Korvonus, and I fully submit to you.”
“Kneel before your master!” He commanded and she did as she was told.
“Korvonus!” He repeated the word, and her armoured plates collapsed and fell from her body. She placed her tiara before her new Lord and bowed.
“Now I shall add you to my collection!”
His cloak opened, and it was a macabre spectacle, as if the interior of the room had been sucked inside an eclipse. Barbariana stood to attention, her hands beside her thighs and bare feet planted together, keeping her word, knowing that the magic of Korvar would keep her bound to her new master as long as he kept Insect Girl alive. She knew how much he wanted her broken and enslaved, the champion of Korvar, and finally he had her. She closed her eyes as he pulled her inside the vortex of his cloak and she disappeared inside him as he wrapped himself in his cloak like leathery wings of a bat. Inside his dark abyss, Rell found herself floating in a realm of pure darkness, a place where he was God, but this was no heaven.
“You are mine now!” He echoed as multiple shadowy hands smothered her body touching every nook and cranny of her muscles, rubbing her flesh.
“Yes, I am” she yielded, and his dark misty coils thrusted themselves, inside her holes, her mouth, her anus and vagina. Tears rained down her eyes but a part of her enjoyed the roughness with her mighty body. She had never been claimed in such a way for what man or woman could make her feel so feminine and dominated? It would take a savage abyssal creature like him, an ethereal demon that mastered the ways of the Gloom. It would take such a vile entity to ravage and beast her, making her wet as waterfall. She heard him cackle amidst the screams of her tribe and other heroes and heroines that had fallen to him.
Outside of his hellish gloom, he toyed with the idea of doing terrible things to Insect Girl. She was paralysed to the ground, the Moz Ash worm binding her to its owner.
“I would like very much to consume you, I would enjoy torturing you alongside your lover, but she will have too much comfort in seeing you. No….I want her broken. You will never see Rell Korvar again. But I will keep my word, you will live, and you will be my weapon, your abilities are much too useful! Come child.”
The Gloom Master pierced through reality and opened a portal which looked like a moth. His hand guided Bobby as they vanished inside it.
Back in the lower levels, Trueblood walked over the bodies, bloody carcasses, with multiple puncture wounds from his very large military issued blade. In the end there was only one exterminator. He armed himself with a rapid-fire handgun and a magnum before he left the armory. His destination? The upper levels, and the lounge area, where Bella had sent him the message. But they were waiting for him outside. A group of killer drones, humanoid machines with red glowing eyes, studying their target. In his mindset, Trueblood was always the hunter, be they man or machine, it didn’t matter to him. But even a master killer like him has limitations. He was only mortal after all.
In the lounge, Invincibella was curled up like a ball, her body burning with pain, nerves fiery and stinging. The drone had her immobilized with the shard of Arkanor, a rare substance that could be most fatal for her species. Bella’s race was a threat to the galactic overlord Skroth. Developing this purple crystal, he was able to reverse the effects of a star’s radiation upon Arkanriums born with the mutated gene. The Arkanor would cause energy to deplete from their bodies, reducing them to sickness. In the invasion of her planet, he experimented intimately with her species after billions were exterminated in his genocidal pogroms. Those that survived lived under occupation and were turned to slaves, others left as refugees like herself. The experiments enabled him to learn much about his conquered species.
“Uuuugh, where….did….you get that!” Bella asked in her exhausted state.
“Get away from her!” Monolith roared as he ran towards the drone. The machine had handed Toxicon with something quite potent. The villain injected the vial into the sizzling green, fluorescent ooze that was his skin, quickly absorbing the entire chemical contents including the capsule and needle. It was like an instant steroid shot increasing his size and transforming him into an invincible corrosive tsunami of consumptive liquid, many times more destructive than any acid. Even with his impervious skin of rock he was devoured as it washed over him, leaving Monolith as a melted blood clot, with falling skin and pieces of rock and organic red mush, chunks of flesh dissolved. His scream was ghastlier than the deathly sight of his face peeling off like skin from a fruit and his head, skull and brain caving in like wet paper. Even in her debilitated state, she let out a scream at the horror of her dear friend perishing in such a tragic manner.
“Don’t worry darling, it will be over soon” said the Silver Sentinal who silently entered, armour stained with dried Lemurian blood. He had been speaking through the drone all this time. All of them under his command.
“It was difficult to get hold of this substance, apparently Skroth’s scientists failed to replicate it again, and the maniac executed them for their failure. Anyway, we made a deal with him,” he explained.
“You are a fool……You cannot make deals with Skroth…. there will….be a price to pay…” Bella said sluggishly as her body deteriorated further.
“That maybe, but he and his armada are busy with the entire Galactic Federation, and that is many many light years away. But you do seem very durable even now, it would take bloody ages for you to die from the Arkanor. I have a quicker solution.”
The shell of his armour finally opened. He was a stern-faced man, with a nose as straight as a ruler. Grey haired, he appeared to be in his 50s, wearing a sharp, dark, well pressed and well-tailored business suit. Searching his jacket, he pulled a small Makarov gun from a pocket.
“I know, I know. I am British and this is very James Bond of me with the choice of weapon. I made a bullet from the Arkanor, let’s see if it can defeat your invulnerability.”
The bullet passed cleanly through her skull. It did not leave a bloody crater on its exit unlike the many executions he had administered in the past, often unknown to his Lighting League comrades. He loved doing kill missions for his majesty’s secret service, the CIA and other more clandestine organisations. Organisations which became the roots of Project DEFEAT. Bella’s body slumped to one side.
Marble dropped the gun and casually pulled out a pipe from his other pocket. He began lighting it, a kind of victory ritual.
“Well done, Toxicon, I do love the smell of charred corroded flesh in the evening.”
“The explosives are ready, Marble”
“Just give me a moment. Let me savour this moment. After all this time, all the heroic mediocrity. Finally, we can build a new world order. Let that bitch Lady England try to stop me!”
“And what will happen to us ‘Villains’ in this new world order of yours?” Toxicon inquired.
“In a utopia, crime will become irrelevant, you can finally retire. There won’t be anything left to steal. Power will be equally distributed everywhere. Imagine, no poverty, no war, no divisions. That is my goal” Marble declared, staring at Toxicon with a knife edged look.
“But yes, you raise an important point Toxicon. In that world if you continue to be a villain, you will be dealt with, there will no courts of law, no lawyer, no prison. Execution is the fastest to deal with such irritants.”
“Then maybe I should deal with you now Marble!”
“You can try, but you will make an enemy of Project DEFEAT. Be assured if you kill me now, they will all come after you, and hound you to the ends of the Earth!”
The difference of opinion was an ideal distraction. Trueblood pounced on his prey with no mercy. The cryo grenade was designed perfectly for foes that possessed powers such as Toxicon’s. The speed of the weapon spread its chemicals deep into the molecules of his body. Toxicon did not even have time to scream as his entire being hardened into a brittle dead thing, crumbling into nothingness. Before Marble could even think about returning to his armour, Trueblood released a bullet from his chamber. The traitorous CEO had his pipe holding hand blown off, and one side of his face was ripped open. He shrieked like a banshee.
“Armour! Attack pattern Gamma!” He murmured.
The armour came to life, spraying its weapons at Trueblood, who dived for cover. It then shielded his master, carrying him like a baby, and escaping through the gaping hole they had made in the building. Marble was half conscious but was aware enough to issue his last command to the drones, detonating the explosives under the Justice Tower’s foundation. He had no care for the welfare of his team, in his mind they were either villains, criminals or overlords of evil. As the building gave way to gravity, Trueblood rushed towards Bella’s lifeless body, holding her tight as the roof rained down from above.
The vision was over. The heroines stood over the rubble, greatly saddened. Madame Nox felt it most intensely and was overwhelmed with emotion.
“We will have our revenge,” said Tempest.
“Now we know there are traitors. Previous allies. Insecure men who feel so threatened by us” Lady England hissed and then there was silence between them all. A silence that would last an age if not for the voice of Mantis Blade calling them. She had been investigating the rubble, discovering something unusual. As the group of heroines rushed over, the Texan Wonder removed a huge slab of concrete, throwing it aside, revealing an unconscious Trueblood holding the jade skinned Bella who was still breathing, the hole in her head slowly healing into a raw scar.
“Thank the Fae!” Lady England said. Madame Nox sensed another presence. Lodging pieces of concrete, metal and plaster aside, she saw him, a shrunken man no bigger than a mouse. It was Nano Nightmare, and he was alive.
Thousands of miles eastwards, on an island that was not on any official maps; the Shadow Blade had landed upon a helipad, inside the cavernous hideout of the notorious master of the criminal underworld, the Pirate King, Kraken Khan. He was a very tall, very burly and bald man, with a beard that added an extra likeness to a Mongol raider of the 12th century. Nightsparrow felt he was the spitting image of Ming from the old 1980s movie Flash Gordon.
“Lord Khan it is good to see you again”, Dr Shadow said.
“And this time we are on the same side; I am happy to see you are not busting my operations as usual.”
“On the contrary. And we have even brought you a gift to enhance your operations or your entertainment at least!”
He presented the perfect body of the jungle queen. Khan took a glance, his eyes quite enamored. Her shapely feet, narrow ankles, toned calves and long strong thighs. The rest of her was the most perfect feminine specimen he had ever since, her hair still shining like the sunlight, and her smooth elvish face made him desire her even more. Her Nordic eyes were lazy for she was still under the spell of the drugs she had been subjected too. She was chained and gagged, barely standing. Nightsparrow held her firmly, his arm wrapped around her waist making it a point that she was hers.
“This is the one who killed the Nikrano animal?”
“Yes, Zoltar couldn’t handle her, but maybe you can?”
Nightsparrow tightened his arm around her, indicating his ownership and scowled his eyes at Kraken Khan like a territorial beast, marking what was his.
“She can take part in the tournament, we have another Lighting League blonde, captured by Tiger Ghost. Her name is Martial Girl, and she has been doing quite well. I am sure she will appreciate the presence of the Jungle Queen as an ally.”
“I like how you enjoy foreplay, playing with these bitches before the obvious conclusion.”
Nightsparrow frowned and made it a point once again to Kraken Khan that Valeria was his, lifting her upon his shoulder. The daring duo followed their new ally, the great Kraken, venturing deeper into his cave of wonders and taboos.
