SDCC -- HALO Action Clix Exclusive

Hi All --
I would have posted this in the gaming section, but there is no way to attach pics there. Out at San Diego Comic Con, the company WizKids (famous for their HeroClix game) announced the upcoming HALO ActionClix game and they unveiled for the first time, the SCARAB vehicle that is coming out. This vehicle is completely in scale to the other Halo ActionClix figures and is is HUGE!! Check out the pics I took below at the WizKids booth (The Master Chief was there too!
). For any of you who have played their HeroClix gamr and know how big the figures are, you understand just how big this thing is. I've never played HeroClix, but am thinking about this ActionClix thing because I'm such a HALO fan.
They were offering the chance to buy this SDCC Exclusive Version of the Scarab at the con (the regular version isn't out until November). Everyday they gave out raffle tickets and then held a drawing. If your number came up that day, you were allowed to purchase one. They are limited to 500. I got lucky and got one. Well, it's not actually in-hand yet. After you purchased it, they entered your shipping address into their computer and it is expected to ship in 6-8 weeks.
I also sat through a HALO panel at SDCC where they talked about the game and there is expected to be over 80 characters and vehicles from the HALO universe in the first wave alone. It all sounds very promising to gamers and collectors. I believe the game launches in September.
