For every time they have Kaitlan Snow in a short dress showing off her legs, they have to ruin it by only showing her above the waist or in pants. BSG had those plot points about a long pursuit and fuel raids in the original series back 3 decades ago. So all the writers did was recycle ideas from old scripts.

Star Trek did ship combat with a cloaked Romulan vessel based upon submarine warfare. They recycled ideas from war movies.

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe actresses want their own team-up movie

Major reason it won't happen is Marvel is running out of contract movies for the actosr/actresses with several already scheduled. It depends upon whether they will agree to do more and at what price. That's one reason you didn't see them all in Captain America: Civil War. Still with a decent script ...

More action scenes are being done in poor light so they can cover up bad fighting. If you can't see it you can't tell how bad it was. This has been an industry trend when they want to save time and money. Whereas with a CGI fight they can have it well lit.

Axel Braun is usually good at using close to authentic costumes and other details.

From a behind the scenes from his first Batman movie, he mentioned that he only directs the clean parts and the rest is done by a different director. So it's not his fault for most of the film being low grade porn.

The original show lasted 3 seasons and then the producer got tired of network executive interference. They wanted to change the show and their input made some lousy episodes in the last season. There is a discussion about that on the third season DVD set.

It really depends how they develop the character since there can be a good reboot and so many terrible ones. The original was character driven with the suit and powers not being as important. After seeing so many failed attempts with conventional super heroes, I'm not expecting this to last.

The problem is getting a decent script after the failed pilot. You can't just make a show with all action sequences, although I bet you could pitch the idea and get it green lit before it collapses. At some point you need writers that know the material and have interesting ideas.

This is WB. Look at how long they took between a successful Batman Returns and a failed Catwoman. No matter how good it is, they can screw it up with delays and poor planning.
