Athletes as super heroines

Does anyone else watch a track meet, volleyball game or gymnastics meet and think of the players as super heroines?

I do all the time. They're strong, wholesome, determined and wear stuff that's close to super heroine costumes.

Pole vaulters are the best.

Well, she doesn't fit into your categories, but I always fantasized about Anni Friesinger being an incredible sexy speed skater during the day and then becoming a Batgirl-like crime fighter in rubber at night




She is too old by now but she will always be under 30 for me

And now a collegiate volleyball player/superheroine. Volleyball shorts aren't as revealing as the briefs the track women wear, but they're still nice.

That would be cool. She's got an edge to her that heightens the conflict with any villain she meets.

Even her gymnast leotard would be cool. That's the thing about gymnasts -- they're 90 percent in costume. All they need are a cape and boots.
