Re: The unmasking of Batgirl

This story feels like it is missing some dramatic tension. At points it just seems a bit flat, especially Gordon's reaction. Yes, he is crying at the end but it all just seems a bit matter of fact. I like the aspect that her being Batgirl wasn't a surprise to him. I think maybe she needs to be consc...

Not fair! We didn't get a chance to expand her peril scenes to truley and correctly cancel Supergirl! Actually, ksire, those expanded peril scenes in both the movie version and the TV show version were expanded and masterfully rendered into exquisite set pieces by our good friend Abductorenmadrid. ...

Re: Poll: Is Helen Slater still the definitive live action Supergirl?

I am currently rewatching the Supergirl TV series, (still just on Season 1, lots to go) and since I've never posted in this thread, I wanted to throw in my two cents. I have to say that I believe Melissa Benoist embodied the character of Supergirl easily as much as Helen Slater did. They gave slight...

I thought I heard that the DC movie Supergirl was also getting cut but wasn't she a secondary character in The Ezra Miller Flash film. Or is that getting axed as well?

Maybe down the road I might. For now, my concentration is on my portion of the Amazos series as well as my Invisible Woman story, both of which have been sadly neglected for the past half year or more.

Shades of Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman from a decade ago. https://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/adrianne-palicki-wonder-woman/ I managed to track that one down. It was Catwoman bad. But then it was a pilot, so it was always a gamble. With a movie even if it's bad you're not throwing anything...

I will make one exception, that a Diana Prince caught in mid-spin, to me, is very hot! Sadly, I've never seen a spin in either the comics, on TV or even in SHIP peril films where we see a Wonder Woman half in her heroic blue and red uniform and half in Diana Price clothes. I guess the dimension wher...

For what it’s worth, I think Marvel will focus the next five to ten years on making the X-Men (and possibly Fantastic Four) what the Avengers has been. This way they can phase out the original Avengers and then reboot the franchise in 2030. This makes the most sense to me in avoiding over saturatin...

I was referring to the mainstream market, hence the billion dollar figure quoted for movies like Avengers Endgame. However we can cover whether porn videos are losing steam as well. I know that producers aren't churning out the quantity or quality they 7sed to with all the piracy going on these days.

Sounds like the shows that people actually watch on the CW will continue for now, such as The Flash, Superman and Lois, and Star Girl. Other than that the rest is toast. Sad to see it. Feels like the contraction of the Superhero genre is underway.

New Elvis Movie

Saw this the other night and found it both entertaining and overly produced, which is Baz Luhrman's style so I expected that. I thought Austin Butler did a fine job as Elvis and Tom Hanks did his usual quality work, even with a heavily loaded script.
