In the 50s it was the sub-genre of man's abuse/mismanagement of atomic radiation creating monsters that were the rage; i.e. Them (giant ants), Attack of the Crab Monsters and possibly The Giant Behemoth.

At this point, it seems silly not to simply withhold judgement until the movie comes out and see if the actress is good in her role or not. She's an alternate reality Supergirl. Let's just see how they handle it and hope for the best.

If they go by the costume used in the comics SG: Woman of Tomorrow we should be in for a treat. I'm not all that familiar with that series but it's a quite a bit darker character over the course of the series I believe. A take no prisoners sort of gal who does have limits on her aggression I think.

Fantastic story. The imagery, the dialogue, the sex scenes were all superb. I like that the heroine gets to fly off and honestly doesn't seem all that upset about how things went. Loved this story start to finish!
