Re: Is superheroine fetish genre dying?
In general the superheroine genre is good. However, something has changed. I’ve recently revisited some older material – not just videos, but images and stories – and, honestly, they’re better. Even though today’s tech is incredible, I see more creativity in the past. And, no, I’m not a Boomer or a ...

Strange, haven’t seen this get much love here, but Dr. Evil (Tolousse59 on DA) is currently producing one of the best Supergirl comics I’ve seen. Haven’t’ been this excited about a project in ages. For now, I’m enjoying the freebees on Deviant Art, but can someone let me know if they've subscribed? ...

Re: Poll: Is Helen Slater still the definitive live action Supergirl?
I’m surprised this topic hasn’t gotten more traction, 20 or so votes feels low for a forum dedicated exclusively to superheroines. And, while I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s posts, I’m gonna go back to the original, where the question appears to be whose Supergirl feels more authentic? Admittedly, a...

They’re all excellent. But the one in green liquid and the single shot of her in the blue are best. I get the desire to see Supergirl in costume but by this stage of defeat she should be naked. You my man have a gift.

Whoa, I love the movie ... and this story. Wish there was more of both. Just saying Helen’s performance was a bit flat. But yeah put her in the costume and we’re all good.
All I’m saying is we all want more Supergirl and clearly Abductor is da man to write it.

You know (for an oldie toady) Faye Dunaway is kinda hot. Next revelation, Helen Slater is wooden. Beautiful as she is there is a stiffness too her performance that I never noticed until now. Is that why there are so few SG scenes?

Love the scene and would happily watch over and over.
Would be cool to hear/read what negative thoughts the cloud is inducing. Feels like good way to up peril. Best part is use of “I can’t” soooo Supergirl movie.

Oh...I totally missed this. For what it’s worth I too prefer the original (1984) effect. It fits better with the shot.
But that Benoist GIF is hot. A median where you can still see her eyes, while still getting that heat vision glow gets my belated vote.

More than power(s) the key is arrogance. Matching the right villain is also important but the secret sauce lies in the writer's ability to craft a memorable humbling. Wen it comes to deafeating those who supposedly can’t be beat, the fall is what I’m after.

Melody’s return would definitely get me looking up in the Bluestone sky again. As would some battle damage, blood and torn costumes are great.
