Re: The Flash Season 8 (CW, 2021-22)

The CW when it was still the pre-merger of UPN and WB networks had lower ratings expectations in line with the first years of Fox. However they were still able to get shows in the top 50 for the year. Now they don't even try and settle for cable show viewer numbers.

The CW doesn't have a lot of great television, anymore. Nothing like Seventh Heaven or Original Charmed that had ratings comparable to the big three networks. The superhero shows are all from one company so there is a great need not to anger the producer so he doesn't take the all to cable or streami...

There was also the need to shorten movies by cutting out material that isn't important to the plot. All those deleted scenes on the DVD. Only the most recent Batman v Superman and Supergirl TV series bothered to have a reason for Luthor to hate Superman. In the first Superman movie, the bald Gene Ha...

While I agree with you that too little is more slutty than sexy. There is enough material out there that is made for those than want slutty, Most of those videos lose my interest when the costume comes off.

All it takes is enough computer power to process the information in real time. Hollywood already does it to modify footage to use dead or wrong age actors. It's the dramatic effect. The more virtuous the heroine, the more compelling her defeat. The capture of weak, slutty, whiny women does nothing for me. You have to admire Mr. Whit's reasoning for having her in a bikini. No concealed weapons and he like to see women that way. You couldn't get that in a current show or joke about like in the 1970s.
