Re: Batwoman - Season 2
Feel like costume designers are missing the point when this sort of costume isn't even shiny. You don't want shiny when you are hiding in the shadows. This isn't Batman TV from 1966 with brightly lit sets and costumes. Most of the current DC shows use dark sets and dark costumes to hide the action ...

Re: Poll: Is Helen Slater still the definitive live action Supergirl?
I saw the Supergirl movie when it came out because it was done by the people that did the earlier Superman movies. Like Superman III, it was just making one more in a franchise for money and wasn't a great story like the first two Superman movies. Decent actors and for the time special effects, but ...

Especially if the show jumps to a different scene after the break.

The speedy gonzales thing got me riled about stereotypes. It's the way the world needs to work for children. Re: Legends of Tomorrow (Season 6)
I still think this is the best of the Arrow'verse shows. They care about continuity and the writers always make references to past events in a show that literally goes back in forth in time. Re: "Batgirl" movie in development (Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to direct)
And the Gingercide continues. True and predictable, but is batgirl's "human form" actually ginger, or is the red hair a wig that's part of the costume? It depends upon the version. The 1960s TV show had a wig, but the comic book and newspaper series made at the same time had it real hair ...

It's over before they sunk to a new low with the bar already so low. Brought back a lot of old cast members for one last time. Quite a lot of inside jokes like: Helen Slater saying, "You think I was a Kryptonian." and having Alex reply, "Only in a movie." They had all those fight...

You need to think about the age of Lois. Here you have a woman who met Superman in her mid 20s as an established reporter and now has twins in high school. That make her in her early 40s. Most woman at that age aren't the sexy versions in the previous shows that were much younger. Sure Teri Hatcher ...

Re: Is the Superhero/Superheroine Genre Losing Steam?
As a fan of Westerns, I mourn the fact that so very few of them are made these days. In the 50s and 60s they were everywhere. I wonder if super films will go the same route. Genres go in cycles. When in the 80s they made "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr." the western movie stuntmen we...

It was a very weak plot point that Kathy Kane gave her voting rights to Ryan and made her the boss. It would have made more sense to give it to Luke Fox, whose father ran the company for Bruce Wayne, or Mary Hamilton her sister.
