I'm wondering if you would include Xena in this group? Maybe she's a corollary of it in some ways. Then again, not many Xena fetish videos out there that I've noticed.
See above.
Sorry, she was in there and I missed it in the listing.

And you're right about the peril happening so fast that it's over in seconds. I'm guessing that is due to two main reasons: budget and political correctness. It may come down to a matter of how many screen seconds it takes to create a convincing peril these days on a major tv show. It's not like the days when you could have an actress fighting off a rubber snake and making it try to appear that this drooping rubber hose is actually alive. Audiences today are a bit more sophisticated. Also, if you have a woman stretched out in chains for any longer than 20 seconds, that would raise an issue with the political correctness police and I'm sure and sponsors wouldn't like that.

I think it just comes down to that fact that this genre/fetish has been and always will be niche. This is mostly due to social norms and political correctness like the doctor stated. We dont live in a world where we can freely express our fantasies with out being judged by them. Until then, I would not expect this genre to grow and expand into the mainstream spotlight.

As far as producers within our niche, i think we have a responsibility as a community to not pirate, share, or post content without purchasing it first and getting expressed permission from the content creators. If we want to keep creating content as a community we have to understand that its expensive and people need to make a living.

Having said that the other side of the coin is the fact that , NOT ALL but some, producers seem to charge nearly 60 dollars for a video. Producers need to keep in mind people will purchase more of and continue to support their content if it will not make such a dent in their wallets.

I think whether the genre dies out or not is up to us. The fetish will never die but whether their continues to be a genre is in the hands of producers and consumers.

With as much skin as I saw at New York Comic con...us all the fun...I would confirm...No...it is not dying and the younger crowd of guys and girls seem much more free on their sexuality of their characters...straight...lesbian...Bi....Gay...they seem so open to sexual fetishes, I even saw butt plug fidget spinners....so yeah.....

To address this first...you misremember Punished Heroines and all those sites. Those were, more or less, porn flicks. It was always "uh oh here's a green rock. Heroine is weakened. Time to fuck." The idea that Porn makers noticed it and jumped on the bandwagon is nonsense. They have to an extent, but they latched onto comics making it big in Hollywood not so much this stuff. Either way most of the stuff was ALWAYS beating up heroine, getting her out of costume, then fucking her. It's always been a porn esque thing.
I misremember those sites? Funny, I still have a lot of the early days Punished Heroines and Sooperhero content on my hard drive and no, I'm not "misremembering" it.

Was there sexual content? Of course there was. A boob grab or a pussy rub here or there. Later on, you may even have found some simulated action based on what the userbase wanted to see. But there wasn't full blown real porn. It was left up to the imagination what happened to the heroine after she was defeated. Now, nothing is left to the imagination.

As do I. There was plenty of simulated sex and other hijinx going on. No you didn't see anything, but it's still porn esque like I said. Or maybe I'm not remembering all those Paris Kennedy videos or Justice Girl ones. Oh wait. I'm not.

So yeah you are misremembering it.

Porn-esque is still not porn and doesn't fall into what my original complaint of full porn.

Plus not every single one of the videos contained porn-esque action because not all the models would allow it.

I have tons of early stuff from many different producers! Sooperheroines had some stuff without nudity! New Phoenix zero porn! New Goddess..zero porn!
Shakeshift next to no nudity! Heck even some of my favorites from here at Hypnotics World had very little if any nudity! So no it's not all porn!

As for the guy who wants us non porn people to buy customs? How do we do that? It's already been established that most models/ producers don't want written dialogue! They prefer to "wing it" ! So how does one have a story driven video?? I suppose pay for a full production with actresses but I can only speak for myself when say I don't make that kinda money!!!!

As for porn stuff.. I can honestly say after years of playing organized football and hockey and having to spend time in locker rooms! I can say for a fact that I could easily live the rest of my life without seeing another guy's shlong!!!!!!

Non porn people don't have to demand a lot of dialog from their non porn customs -- after all, those tons of early stuff didn't have a lot of dialog, did they? (If they did, how was it affordable then and not affordable now?)

Something the old PH videos had, because they were series of clips and not single videos, and because villains with masks were mute -- title cards explaining the action. We don't get that anymore. Basically, we used to have a third-person narrator helping to tell the story.

There are ways to tell the story without dialog -- voiceover and title cards. There's also the internal monologue and dialog spoken off-camera, which require your actors to deliver the lines but not while they're also acting on-camera, so you might get a good reading much faster and cheaper.

Some did have quite a bit of dialogue! Yes the early Sooperheroines stuff was told by the card method! And yes New Phoenix had a voice over narrative for some! Voice over lay requires some time.. I would guess?

My point in this is just that in this genre it seems story telling is sadly dying off!
