And it's just about the trailer, not the movie itself.
So, post your favorite trailers and the reason why you love them.

Just love the score, the cutting, the action and mayhem after 0:56.
The movie itself is ......great!

The score is fantastic and intensifies until the finale. Pulse beating with some nice action shots included!

OK, I'll play!

First up - coz I like Mozart - CLIFFHANGER - a brave trailer not having any dialogue in it, relying on Mr Mozart to add weight to the action!




And after that ... again relying on the score to add some weight, the first minute of this had some impact on me too...

^ Ah yes, I remember that Godzilla Trailer, yeah, very atmospheric!
Haven't seen the one from Cliffhanger, that is indeed VERY different. Actually I don't think I have seen a trailer without any dialogue to such a movie so far.

I liked the first Independence Day trailer, where you just had the shadow of the spacecraft falling over things. Unfortunately it promised a tense , brooding scifi thriller that was nothing like the jingoistic piece of crap we ended up with

Wow, a really bizarre trailer! And pretty good for such an old trailer. Looks like an action "comedy".
When I watch trailers from the 60's and 70's on the DVD or Blurays the trailer are mostly really bad....in comparison to the trailers today.
The movies are another topic.

That's almost it the one I was thinking of had Will Smith coming out of his house and less of a music score.
(Trump probably thinks that's actual footage of the British burning Washington in the War of 1812)
