Would have been nice to have more warning

https://nypost.com/2021/04/05/get-ready ... streaming/

Guess who is not there

Hint

One of the three most important actors in the franchise
Damselbinder

Shatner? He probably just didn't want to do it. He's an old man now.

He is still actively working. Just finished a movie.

Other than Arena , their choice of shows leave a lot to be desired as well.

Shatner seems to have been pretty comfortable with the idea that his character died so he's out.

Such are promises
All lies and jest
Still, a man hears what he wants to hear

Missed this, but looks like it was fun. STD and Lower Decks are not good, and Picard wasn't exactly the bees' knees either, but things are looking up a bit with Anson Mount and Rebecca Romijn (no longer can we shout STAMOS! like Conan O'Brien used to do...now it must be O'CONNELL!) on Strange New Worlds, possibly Paramount's final chance to "get it right" while the older generations of fans are still young enough to properly enjoy it. And of course, congratulations to the best-looking nonagenarian in the business, the Shat-Man!
