Dungeon "qualifications?"

I've been seeing some blurring of the lines recently of what constitutes a regular story vs. a dungeon story. Centurian, usually the epitome of class and style has taken to adding some pretty racy scenes in his recent stories. (Not that I mind in the least, old boy; in fact I applaud it) so the question occurs to me: What qualifies as a dungeon-worthy event? Penetration? Dismemberment? Jaywalking with a baby in tow? Anyone have parameters they'd like to put forth?

IF she dies, or there's blood, it should be in the dungeon. At least, that's what I go looking for when I click on the dungeon section.

Any blood? A bloody nose is hardly dungeon-class stuff.

That's true, but I just noticed in general with people on this board, and Roleplaying with others, that blood / bone breaking seems to be a red line for many. Even if it's just a bloody nose.

I kind of thought the Dungeon was for XXX kind of stuff and gore?

gore is like porn, you know it when you see it.

So is simple penetration considered XXX or does it have to be something more? I'd like to get an administrator's or ambassador's take on this. I'm considering writing a non-dungeon story and I'd like to know what's out of bounds.

I post full on sex stuff in the normal stories section purely because I have the girls winning through at the end. If they lost I suppose a graphic lesbian gang rape would be dungeon, but somehow the fact that the heroines win through for me changes it. Maybe I'm wrong, its just personal opinion.

I personally view it as death, graphic maiming, sex with a bad outcome for the heroines = dungeon

As the normal story board moderator figured I should speak up on this.

The line between the two is mostly the story board rules that I've posted. Anything particularly violent, graphic, and such would be moved to the Dungeon. Generally I try to keep an eye out and I think the majority of posters to the board know where to put their stuff.

The only thing I might have considered differently done is maybe a rating boards where there's a mix of PG, PG-13, R, X stuff. But again agreeing on what those are would be difficult.

As always if anyone finds a story that seems like its in the wrong place and or has content that shouldn't be included (breaking the story board rules) please PM me and I'll address it as quick as I can.
