Part 1:

The plan seemed simple enough, but then plans seldom went as they were deemed to. Arriving at the entrance to the massive home, Helena walked into the foyer of the mansion and presented the proper credentials, knowing that whatever Oracle had done to acquire them she had done so perfectly...and her allowance to proceed showed Helena that she had been right. Somewhere nestled in this mass of richness and vanity, there were two targets that needed taking down, and though such a mission would normally call for at least two agents, Helena was assured she'd be able to deal with them - after all they were just kids.

Two hours later, Helena was still looking for the targets, and though she had tasted nearly every drink passed her way, she was not the least bit drunk - due in large part to the pills Oracle had given her upon leaving the Clock Tower. Still, Helena knew the effects of the pills would wear off at some point, and thusly she maintained a careful watch on the time, as she mentally counted off the minutes in her head.

In Gotham there seemed to be no end to the parties. It seemed that at all hours of the day and night you could find one hosted by the rich elite that seemed to make up a surprisingly large chunk of the city's population.

This particular one is taking place at a mansion of a rich young man who ran afoul of a mobster. How? Maybe he dumped the wrong daughter, or he made a bet he couldn't cover, or he saw something he shouldn't have.

Does it matter to a person paid well to off the guy?

Nope.

Time to scout, and prepare. Lady Vic thought to herself as she began her assassination mission. She didn't work outside of Gotham much, but a job is a job.

And so she walked in. A ravishing blonde that nearly stopped the room as she walked in, clad in a dress that accented her voluptuous curves, and dazzling blue eyes.

She walked through the room confidently snubbing every person asking her to dance. Pitiful males who's legs turned to rubber in her presence.

Her gaze seemed to look around the room for nothing in particular as she elegantly moved across the main room.

Not seeing what she wanted she set up at the bar next to a brunette woman, and ordered a shot of Wild Turkey.

"What a party..." she said partly to herself, partly to the brunette.

Helena heard the comment made by the other woman, but ignored them and her for the time being. Her mind was in *mission* mode and that didn't leave much in the way for socializing, especially with another woman. Yet her thoughts did travel back to the woman beside her only in wondering why such a good looker as her would be unescorted? Her attire was elegant to say the least, not that her own wasn't, of course, but the dress this woman wore accentuated her every curve.

Dressed in a simple, spaghetti-strapped, deep black dress and high heels, Helena suddenly became aware that though her own dress was short enough to show off her smooth thighs..., when she sat..., anyone could look right between her legs to see everything...., a fact she wasn't entirely comfortable with. Crossing her legs, Helena discretely tugged on the dress, before she stood and smoothed the material down again. The problem solved, Helena signaled for a second drink, a Merlot, and then gave the beautiful woman next to her a once over..., as if she thought she may have run into her before, though after thinking about it, Helena was sure she had not.

Lady Vic, aka Lady Elaine Marsh-Morton as she would go by here smiled lightly at the woman even though she ignored her. Maybe it was the fact that her piercing blue eyes looked over Helena in an oh so sultry way as if she could see through the dress, and liked what she saw. No, the look on her face wasn't leering, or over done. It was like someone appreciating a work of art rather than something purely sexual like most red blooded men would have offered.

Ah, her drink arrived. A soft, cute, pink tongue traveled across dry lips in a slow deliberate manner wetting them before she took a drink. She went quiet as she sipped her drink softly once more. If the brunette didn't want to talk, then she didn't.

Subtlety her gaze travels towards the mirror behind the bar now and then.

She didn't seem to mind the other woman looking her over as she crossed her legs casually flashing her some thigh through the slit in her dress. A move that seemed oh so natural, but the timing might leave some questions.

It felt, to her, odd that two apparently single women would sit by each other, though some people came by to get a drink, and left quickly going back to what ever group they were with. It was buzzing around them, but to Lady Elaine it was boring. A stakeout.

She waited on her target's arrival, and thought of ways to kill him, and make it look like an accident, a suicide, or something quiet so she wouldn't be readily linked to the death. There was plenty of ways. She had a few in her purse, hidden away. Odds were good there was more than a few ways around the house. Of course there were. A curtain garrote. A fall down the long stairs. The environment is a weapon just like everything else.

A small amused smile crossed her lips as she took another drink.

After a sip her lovely blue eyes looked at the brunette next to her via the mirror. She did look familiar. That eye catching long black hair. She couldn't place it though. It's probably her imagination.

Taking a sip of the delivered Merlot, Helena caught a whiff of the other woman's perfume though she tried not to react. That the two of them would be in a party, sitting alone, and at a bar made Helena wonder what she could be doing elsewhere, and if there was one thing she wanted to do at this precise moment it was to slap Oracle for talking her into the mission.

Even the looks from the passing party goers made Helena cringe, though exactly why she didn't know, and that too caused her to wonder, all of which was taking her mind off the intended task at hand - the rescue of two kids that were of importance to Oracle - though again, the why's of their importance escaped her.

"I suppose you're waiting for your date?"

"Me? No, not at all," she laughed lightly, then continued "I received an invitation, and came with nothing better to do if you can believe it," she said in a silky English accent that came out more as she spoke. Some have called it Jane Seymore like.

No silly innuendo about waiting for her target here. She wasn't some movie villain trying to be witty, and ending up predictable.

She looked at the woman with a suave, demure look about her. She looked like a creature of passion under her noble facade. A person that knew what made her happy, and what she wanted. It's those eyes, and that smile.

"How about you?" she turned her stool to dedicate more attention to her new drinking acquaintance.

"I was supposed to meet someone, but it seems I may be stood up for the night. I hate crowded places too." **sighs** The food is usually not to my liking and the host wants everyone drunk as skunks before the night is through."

Looking out over the dance floor while she spoke, Helena finally turned to look Lady Vic in the eyes, as if seeing the woman for the first time. Her concentration slipping ever so slightly, Helena turned to sit across from her budding friend, if that was what she could be called - drinking partner more like it - but at any rate a woman in the same situation as she was.

"So that's why you seem preoccupied," she said calmly, "Odd that it seems the two single women in this party would end up sitting next to each other relatively unmolested by everyone else. Especially when those two single women are so lovely, hm?" she added with a little smile.

"I'm Lady Elaine Marsh-Morton, by the way."

She had no reason to hide her name. No one knew her as Lady Vic. If they did then it would be too easy to destroy her work.

"Nice to meet you, Elaine..., Helena Rosa Bertinelli and this party is a drag. Even the Merlot seems bland. So what brings you to Gotham, if I may ask?"

Her own introduction made, Helena relaxed a little and continued their chat. Her name, at least the formal one was well known in some circles as belonging to a nation-wide construction company, though if truth be known the name had a much more formidable bearing with the Mafioso of Gotham and Chicago..., a fact Helena had spent a life time rendering ineffective since donning the mask back in Italy.

"Course, if I am being abrupt, just say so."

"Not abrupt at all," she smiled with added warmth at Helena, "I always found Gotham to be a lovely city despite it's stoney, old style exterior, and I visit now and then to soak it in, and have some fun, though tonight isn't very fun. Or at least it wasn't until I started speaking with you."

"Where is he?" she thought to herself though she shown no signs of betraying her malicious thoughts. Was the host even here? He had to be... unless someone tipped him off. Maybe she'd have to play her hand early to try and find the man.

She slid fingers through her blonde hair getting it out of her face. "How about you?" she smiled at Helena.

Part 2:

"I call this town home, though I don't usually have the time to attend these parties. My employer was to be here, but he was called away and stuck me with this gig, and frankly I am almost bored to death."

Helena smiled at the last comment, even as her eyes caught sight of one of the two intended targets. One of the boys was just entering the main room, escorted by what Helena had been told was his uncle, but where was the other child? Would he show up or would she have to go look for him?

"And this dress...., its hardly even here!"

Elaine smirked lightly then joked out, "Ah, leave it to men to put us in poor conditions, hm?"

She couldn't help but feel some bias since she's all alone trying to keep her estate afloat, but she did manage to lay off the flattery. She would likely sound like she were flirting if she kept it up. Not that she felt there was anything wrong with it, mind you, it's just that she's on the job.

And that same job is testing her patience.

At least Helena's discomfort is to her gain in terms of that dress.

She took another drink of alcohol feeling it a little in her eyes. She needed to be careful not to get sloshed, and she kept that in mind at this point.

"Men aren't always the problem behind one's state of affairs, though they do seem to fit the bill anyway. I...."

Seeing the second child enter the room hand-in-hand with his father, their host for the night, Helena bit her lower lip and then turned her attention back to the woman beside her. She needed to get away and change into costume quickly but exactly how she was to do it now was the problem.

She was supposed to be alone - stay alone - so this problem would not pop up, but Helena had allowed boredom to enter into things and now she had a problem..., though one she could at least attempt to fix.

"I really hate to put this lovely discussion on hold, but I think I should call my date to see where he might be..., if you will excuse me for a few minutes?"

Sliding off the leather-backed bar stool, Helena excused herself and then headed off to someplace quieter....namely a room where she knew she could change, leaving Helena Bertinelli behind to be replaced by the Huntress, Gotham's Urban Avenger.

Something seemed to catch her eye a bit suddenly. Her target.

She expected him to have some bimbo with him, but apparently not. She disliked the sight of things, but she had to get the job done.

"Too much drink, I'll meet you here if I'm not back before you are." she said calmly, and then went up the stairs after she were directed that way for the bathroom.

Alone in the restroom she changed into her assassination outfit sans the large armored coat as she didn't have the room for it, then tagged the wall pushing a tile as she knew there was a secret passage waiting for her thanks to a tip from her employer, then she exited into a guest room.

She crept into the hallway armed with a pair of katar, a double barreled sawed off shotgun not much larger than a pistol, and a hand crossbow.

No one was about luckily, so all she had to do was get to the stairs, stay inconspicuous, aim her crossbow at the host, and she fired at him!

Indeed, it was in public, and that would serve as a message as her employer wanted.

She imagined kicking him out the window to be hanged, or making him OD on drugs, or something, but killing him in front of his kid?

They didn't call her ruthless for a reason.

Helena moved through the crowd with her cell phone in hand, and even managed to bring it to her ear should the woman be watching her. Exiting the room, Helena slipped out of the clingy dress and reached for the bag she had hidden earlier. In minutes her alter ego had vanished as Helena continued the transformation to the Huntress. Slapping on the mask at last, she made sure all of her weapons were in their proper places and then headed for a window, the only one with a trestle next to it.

Once outside, it was a simple matter of climbing up the trestle to the second floor, thanks in large part to the fact the security detail was not looking for an intruder to be coming from inside the estate's home. Slipping into a second story window, Huntress quickly made her wall out into the hallway, pausing only long enough to make sure the coast was clear before she stepped out into it.

Edging ever closer to the top of the stairs, Huntress peered around the corner just in time to see another woman take aim at one of the boys and open fire. Acting upon instinct, her skills honed to near perfection; the Huntress fired a bolt of her own barely in time to deflect the would-be assassin's attack, their bolts then slamming into a large plate-glass mirror telling all below there was danger.

"Wha-" she was stunned seeing another bolt deflect hers. She didn't have time to reload before everyone screamed, and panicked, then rent-a-cops appeared.
She turned to look at the interloper, and recognized her immediately with a sneer. "Damn you!"

The message wasn't delivered in full. Her contract was botched this time it seemed.

She had to run now, and so she did, down the hall away from the stairs Security stampeded up, and away from Huntress. She needed to find a way out now. Looks like a second story jump is needed.

She had saved the boys, but Huntress had to take the woman down or she'd try again. Her own mission changed in an instant, the heroine ran after the assassin, even as she weaved from this room and that. Shots were being fired at them both, a fact made all the more evident by the splattering chunks of dry wall that rained down on them both, but if the woman thought she would get away clean, then she had another thing to think about.

"Not so fast, bitch."

Huntress caught up with the assassin just as she neared a window, Helena's own momentum propelling them both through the glass, sending their bodies out into the inky darkness, only to land upon the shards of broken glass. Now it was only a matter of subduing who ever it was she was fighting and then unmasking her to find out what she looked like.

She flew out of the window with Helena on her, down to the ground where Vic barely managed to land properly, but their bodies remained twined, and they rolled down the hill that the mansion rested on, down into the darkness of the woods below where the host often enjoyed hunting.

She grunted and yelped as they rolled down he hill until they came to a stop with Vic aching, and laying on Huntress with the purple clad vigilante's face between Vic's large voluptuous soft cleavage.

Even if she was in a hurry to move, Vic couldn't. She needed time to get past the pain that covered her, and the fact the world still seemed to spin.

It seemed they escaped the security for now, but she wasn't sure.

They seemed to roll on forever, their bodies pressed together ever so tightly, until they both came to a rest with Helena's face buried deeply in the woman's ample breasts.

Wasting little time, Helena grabbed the woman's locks and yanked her head back away from her own face, mere seconds before Helena crushed her knee smack dab into the uunknown woman's sensitive nether region in the hopes of breaking her beginning hold..., the knee jab followed quickly by a hard, open palmed upper cut to the woman's soft chin.

Vic yelped with each assault as she were abused in rapid succession, leaving her sprawled out on the ground, dazed a bit, but able to get her bearings as the world stopped spinning.

She rolled onto her side, and started to crawl away from Huntress with her hand under her body hidden out of view as she grabs the hilt of her katar ready, expecting an assault on her.

She watched Huntress through the crimson lenses of her mask, feigning a weak retreat.

Part 3:

Weakened ever so slightly from the initial impact with the ground, Huntress fought the remaining stars that danced in front of her mask while she fought the second battle against the woman. She could tell her blows were having the desired affect made all the more evident when the woman groaned in pain before rolling off Helena's prone body.

Watching her crawl away, the Huntress let over-confidence slip into the seemingly one-sided battle and got to her feet, only to walk over to the slowly escaping woman to once again grab her by the golden locks that made up her hair.

"Who gave you permission to leave..., I sure as hell didn't. Why did you attack the children?"

Vic scowled angrily at Huntress. "I wasn't after the brat, I was after the host... and-" she suddenly grabbed Huntress' hand keeping it from her hair, then slashed at Huntress' upper body with a razor sharp Katar hoping to slice her or at least force her back. "Lay of the hair, you bitch!"

She kicked out her legs after the slash and tried to take Huntress down face first with a simple but useful wrestling style toe hold hoping to get the upper hand on her.

What is it with this woman and her hair? She'll have to find something to abuse on this woman to see how she likes it. Revenge will be sweet to take on this tart.

"The wha..., hey!!!!!!!!!!"

Caught off guard by the sudden attack, Huntress thanks the powers that be that her costume was reinforced with Kevlar. The blade would have cut her breasts neatly in halves were it not for that one elemental aspect of the costume, but even then the attack hurt, though not as badly as the second half of the attack - a sudden leg sweep meant to lay her out, only the Huntress had managed to get away in the nick of time.

Holding her breasts with her left hand, Huntress staggered back a few steps to get away from the blade, before she assumed a defensive position, in case the woman decided to attack again..., though in the meantime, Helena would try to pump the girl for information.

"Why kill the old man? Who you working for?"

She stood and sneered, keeping her distance. "Don't be dense, woman! There's no way I'm telling you."
"I'm going to make you pay for ruining my contract, and for grabbing my HAIR!" she raised her leg high in a fast motion, then brought it down on Huntress just as quickly looking to hammer her heel into her ribs.

Anger was getting the better of Lady Vic it seemed, but she wasn't in a blind rage yet. She definitely wanted revenge however.

The attack - when it came - was far faster than Huntress expected. Before she could even react Lady Vic's heel stabbed her in the chest, propelling Huntress back several feet until her bacl slammed up against a tree. Her head smacking the trunk, Huntress groaned from the pain and then slumped to her knees, before she fell half forward to the ground, her upper body held up only by her left arm.

"UUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH."

Shaking her head to expel the growing cobwebs, Huntress looked up at her quary and smiled. Stars were still dancing around her masked face, but she had learned not to show weakness, for such a sign could mean trouble, if not death, in a fight. She could hear Oracle's voice in the headset that was built into her mask, something about trying to identify who was being fought, but Helena didn't have time for any of that..., not yet, not now.

"Good blow, that the best ya got?"

Standing, Huntress grabbed the bo-staff, her weapon of choice, and extended it fully. Cradeling the weapon upon her right arm so it could be brought to bear from any attack, the Huntress looked into Lady Vic's eyes, and waited for the next move..., knowing whatever the unknown woman did, it was going to cost her this time.

Lady Vic smirked. "I haven't begun yet."

She wasn't sure what was keeping her beating this woman silly, instead of leaving, but she figured that she could beat on this woman more before she retreated. She did foul up the hit, though. She needed to pay for that.

She took her other katar in hand, then squeezed the handles on both extending side blades on each.

She charged forward with her katar intent on capturing Huntress' staff in her blades to try and pin her to the tree behind her and press up close, then threw a knee at her midsection.

Prepared for the assault, if only just, Huntress quickly dropped to a knee and brought the staff to bear, swinging it like any judo master would to create a constrant parimeter of utter destruction. Swirling it above her head, the staff resembled a helecopter's blade in both sound and danger, a fact that Lady Vic would quickly realize when the first reaches slapped up against the side of her head.

"Sorry lady, the last blow went to you, but this round will be mine."

"Unf!" she exclaimed as the staff struck her masked face which sent her reeling to the ground, but she did not stay there long, getting to her feet with the katar still in her hands securely.

She ran her options in her mind. Run, fight. Use another weapon, or stick to her current ones?

Her head ached even with her head protection absorbing the brunt of the assault.

"To hell with this." She thought to herself, then threw herself back at Huntress thrusting a katar at Huntress, but from her glove cuff a puff of African tribal knockout powder sprays at Huntress' face.

Lady Vic puts on a dark smile eagerly expecting her victory over this woman.

"Not this ti....uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...., uuuuuuuuhhhhhhmmmmm...."

Huntress saw the move as it happened, blocking the thrust with the staff, but even as the heroine moved to retaliate, the dust settled upon her masked face. In seconds her mind went numb, bringing the fight to a stand still. Sinking to her knees, the Huntress let out a long graveling sounding groan and fell forward to land on her stomach, her shoulders straddled by Lady Vic's booted feet, completely void of conciousness.

"Yes, this time." Vic said with a devilish smile on her face as she knelt down sheathing her blades, then flips Huntress over onto her back. "But you were a grand opponent." she leaned down sliding her hands over Huntress' body, then brought her face close to her Victims, then pressed a soft kiss to her lips.

"But my revenge isn't complete."

Her hands slipped into Huntress' utility belt grabbing the riot restraints before she moved to straddle Huntress' waist. She took the staff, then placed it along the defeated Huntress' arms then began tying her wrists to her staff.

Part 4:

With the Aerie One on Auto Pilot Lady Blackhawk decended the ladder, as she noticed the woman straddling the Huntress and strapping her wrists together with her own straps after a kiss on the lips. She had gotten the call from Oracle and had made her way to Helena's location just in time. Leaping off the rope ladder as the plane soars over head she opens fire on the mysterious woman, rolling on the grass, getting to her feet she then continues firing until her clips are out, she starts reloading moving forward. Her previous shots all warnings, the next ones would not be.

"What in blazes? Is she insane?" she muttered to herself as bullets whizzed by her. She whipped out her small sawed off shotgun, then fired at the woman firing at her as she retreated into the woods.

She should have known the Birds of Prey were working together in this. She'll have to keep that in mind in the future.

Zinda dodged the shot gun blasts as the woman fled. She holstered her weapons as the woman disappeared into the woods. She walked up to the Huntress and knelled down by her. Crouching on the damp ground looking at her hurt friend, she sighed that she was still breathing, her own heart had skipped a beat, but now she breathed a sigh of relief. She pressed a button on her belt and the Aerie One was in sight it landed in a nearby field as Zinda leaned over the Huntress readying herself to pick her up. Lifting with her knees she pulls the Huntress into her arms, wrapping her hands around the woman's waist reaching down grasping her utility belt, pulling her up into her arms. Once to her feet Lady Blackhawk carries the Huntress to the plane, stepping up into the plane she lays Helena down on three of the passenger seats, she looks into her friends sleeping face, once she was sure Helena was safe on the seat she undid the riot straps and placed the Bo staff back into it's compartment.

Once the fight had begun in earnest, Oracle had gone into action. Helena had not said who or what she was in battle with but that did not stop Barbara from trying to find out anyway. Initiating a voice comparison on her powerful system, Oracle was soon watching the voice-print patterns flow across the side screen even as she tried to get Huntress to pull back.

"Huntress, I don't know who you are fighting, but withdraw until I can. Or at least describe her to me...., Huntress.....Huntress?????"

No answer, not that she'd expected one. Huntress was like she had been when her Batgirl persona had been active. Once in the zone, you didn't waver an iota, for fear of being taken out of the picture, and for that Barbara respected Helena. For now, all Oracle could do was listen in, as helpless as ever until the.....then it came to a halt.

"Huntress..., there's a ninety-eight percent possibility that you are facing Lady Vic, a ruthless assassin. She's good....damn good. Watch yourself, I'm sending in reinforcements."

That was then....now Barbara had to contend herself with the knowledge that Zinda had arrived, but the Huntress had just been taken down, and to what extent her injuries were was beyond Barbara's knowledge. Intel was her business, and the lack of it really annoyed her.

"Zinda, can you tell me how she is?"

Zinda had just finished making sure the Huntress was secure and unable to get hurt further when she her Oracle on the com.

"Oracle, as far as I can tell besides a few cuts and bruises, she appears to be fine, though the other woman did use a form of knock out gas on her. I got there just as she was on top of the Huntress."

Zinda would mention the woman fondling the Huntress if Barbara asked for further details. But for now felt that was enough.

"I opened fire, and saved the Huntress, the woman ran off into the nearby woods."

"I believe that woman was Lady Vic, a known assassin. If she was after the kids she will try again, probably tonight even though her cover might be blown. If you think it safe enough, go after her, but be on guard, Lady Vic is deadly."

Hearing about Huntress, Oracle thought quickly and made her decision. Lady Vic had to be taken down if at all possible, or at the very least chased off for the night, but her escape would pose problems for their mission, and having Zinda who normally had a calm head on her shoulders going after Lady Vic sounded like a good plan.

"If you don't find her, report back here asap. Oracle out."

Zinda listened to Oracle as she explained the situation, so the woman was a assassin, she had faced a few in her time. While a dangerous situation there were childrens lives at stake and involving innocence such as them was uncalled for.

"I will head out after her right away Oracle, I have the Auto Piolt set to return the Aerie One back the the Tower's flight hanger. And I will make my way back once I find anything I am not leaving H unprotected. She means to much to all of us, plus I so need to ask her about the time I was Queen Killer Shark and how my punches barely phased her. Blackhawk out."

Zinda climbed out of Aerie as shut her up tight. Stepping away from the plane she pressed a button on her belt as the plane started up, and was off in moments into the skyline. Once it was out of view, Zinda ran into the woods after Lady Vic, unholstering her guns as she ran, cocking back the hammers, taking off the safetys and readying herself.

Lady Vic put some distance between Huntress, and her ally by now. She headed for a far highway where she has her motorcycle hidden.

Along the way she reloads her small shotgun, muttering, then reloads her crossbow.

She isn't sure she should go back. She has not seen any trace of the aircraft leaving even with the tree canopy.

Zinda ran double time through the woods, breaking branches along the way in the general direction of where the woman had ran off. She knew now that the Huntress was safe and on her way back to homebase that she could cut everythnig to the quick, and find this assassin. She was the most level headed of the Birds, though no one took her lightly. She came to a clearing the sounds of nearby traffic filled her ears as she looked around not seeing anyone or anything yet. So she continued towards the sounds of the traffic.

The problem with running through the woods is it's too easy to leave a trail, and it's too easy to be heard.
Luckily this was a double edged sword allowing Vic to hear her pursuer running to catch her.

Vic slowed, and found a rock to hide behind, then readied her crossbow to take a shot at the person after her. Once she saw the black leather shine, and the blonde hair, she fired at the target.

Unfortunately her crossbow is an antique, and accuracy may vary from time to time. Especially outdoors where wind, and what not can come into play.

Part 5:

Zinda had broke through the clearing she heard the wind whistling, it blew through her hair causing her to brace herself against a tree, she began to push off just as a arrow sailed through the air. It pierced through her leg pinning her to the tree, she dropped both of her guns and grabbed her leg in pain.

"nnnnnnnnaaarrggghhhhhh."

Lady Vic walks up to Lady Blackhawk, then grabs her by the hair jerking her face forward. "You came after me. How cute. Unfortunately for you, I have the upper hand, so what will you do now?" she smirks arrogantly.

Lady Blackhawk smiled through the pain of the arrow, looking into Vic's face. She then suddenly, brought her head forward smashing her forhead into Lady Vic's face hoping it was enough to stagger the woman backwards.

Lady Vic indeed stumbled back from the impact, but she wasn't hurt too badly due to her mask.

She stood erect then laughed a bit pulling out her antique, small, double barreled shotgun. "I hope you enjoyed that. I'm going to start torturing you now."

Zinda reared her head back, it hit the back of the tree, that was not one of her best ideas, her hand moved down to the arrow she broke it off, and pulled away from the tree, her leg bleeding as she fell to the ground on her hands and knees.

"Exactly where you should be!" Lady Vic walked over, then put a high heeled boot on Lady Blackhawk's back, then applies pressure trying to force Lady Blackhawk to the ground. "You should have just left with your ally. Now I have to decide what I want to do with you. Hmph."

She leveled the shotgun at Blackhawk's back. She was no doubt wearing armor so her low guage weapon would sting and bruise at worst.

Zinda smiled her hand on one of her guns, she wanted Lady Vic to come in closer, she twisted onto her back throwing Vic off balance, kicking the shot gun from her hands, she fired close range into the ground nearby her target.

Lady Vic gasped and used her momentum to dodge the gunfire as she fell to the ground. She grabs her shotgun, then tries to pistol whip the woman in black before trying to run.

Zinda blocked the pistol whipping and brought her own up and towards Vics face, hoping to knock her senseless enough so she can recoup for a second or two. Her breasts heaving up and down as she gasped for air her leg bleeding losing blood rather quickly. She then gets up and lands a kick to the woman's stomach.

"That's for the Huntress, you no class floosey."

Lady Vic gets clocked, and reminded why she likes her mask, before she can run, and she's sent to the ground in her scant outfit showing off her own ample cleavage.

"unf!"

She kicked out both her feet at the woman's midsection violently. "And that was just because!"

"What do you know of class?" She sneered at the woman.

"Your skirt is more like a belt, Trollop!" Her free hand grasped the katar sheathed at her hip.

Part 6:

Zinda was sent backwards taking a deep breath as the air was knocked out of her by the double kick to her breasts.

"I am no trollop, my skirt is merely a fashion statement, slut."

Zinda lunged at the woman as she grabbed the weapon, both of them toppling into the ditch of moldy water, rolling over ontop of each other breast squeezed tightly, legs entangled together, not knowing who would end up on top. FInally landing in the water.

"Slut?! Now that's just baseless, you whore!" She grunted as they collided, then rolled into the ravine in a tangle of female parts.

She landed next to Lady Blackhawk with a great splash that covered her in mucky water, and obscured her vision as it coated her mask's lenses.

Lady Vic clamored out of the water to the steep hill wiping her mask off with one hand, while she raised her shotgun with the other, then pulled both triggers!

Click-click!

Damn! The water ruined my shells!

She rolled onto her side barely able to see, putting her weapon into it's sheathe not wanting to lose it, and tried to finish recovering from the rough landing.

They had landed with a hard thud in the water, the cold water reviving Zinda slightly from the blood loss she heard Vic scampering away. She sat up tp ready herself to continue the chase only to see the barrel of the shotgun aimed at her chest a good ten feet away, the click click. Zinda blinked, realizing she was dead to rights. she watched as Vic rolled over to her side trying to get her senses back. Zinda crawled to her, pulling out riot straps. She knew Huntress would have likely killed her by now, but Zinda will just take her in. she grabbed one of Vic's wrists starting to apply the strap, the other end slightly around her own wrist.

She growled feeling the tightening strap around her gun arm's wrist after she put her weapon away.

Lady Vic got a foot hold then used it to try and wrench Lady Blackbird's arm behind her before she pulled out the Katar, and used it to snip the restraint between their arms. She slipped then fell backwards freed, but on her butt now, groaning in pain as her hip struck a rock.

As Lady Vic fell backwards so did Lady Blackhawk, falling into her, her arm twisting behind her, back to the woman. Zinda moaned as she started to recover from the fall. She thought atleast the landing was soft, and Lady Vic took the brunt of the fall. She starts getting up, her skirt riding up in the back, then falling back into place, barely covering her ass.

"Ok enough of this. Your coming with me."

She got up and turned around ready to restrain both of Vic's wrists, not realizing her wirst is in the binding with Vic's gun arm, all it would take is one tug for Vic to bind them together, wrist to wrist.

Helena woke slowly to the thumping noise of an elephant slamming against a metal building. Opening her eyes at last, she used the back of the seat for support and pulled herself up to a sitting position, only to lay half way back against the seat back. The thumping had been her head as Huntress was all too slow to realize until she had moved, and it was going to take time for the migraine to ease off.

Twenty minutes later, the headache had eased off to a degree, a fact that allowed Helena to move about the small cabin of Aries One slowly, but for all of her searching, there was no sign of anyone and the plane was seemingly on autopilot. both of which were signs that something was not right. Ignoring the pain, Huntress took a seat at the controls and started to check the flight pattern for the plane. She could see the location of its last hovering station, and if she could think right, the spot was where she had been facing off against...

"Damn....., don't tell me you went after that woman, Zinda."

Turning the plane around, Huntress punches the throttle forward as far as she could, the result of which was to nearly send her body into the seat behind her, while increasing the pain in her skull. Whatever the drug was that was used on her, Helena knew it packed a mean after effect, but either way, Zinda might need her help, if she was good enough to lend the assist. Setting down in a tight, but secluded clearing, Huntress left the plane and then initiated the lock-down procedures, before she heaeed out to find her lost pilot - friend - fellow Birds of Prey member.

Vic used her bladed weapon to sever the riot straps, then kicked at Lady Blackhawk to try and get her away before she made her attempt to run not enjoying this much any more.

On top of all that she heard an aircraft in the distance, and she knew it wouldn't be long before backup arrived. She began her attempt to retreat from the area using the ravine as cover from the sky.

She might not have gotten her contract completed, but she sure as hell isn't getting captured!

The kick landed between Lady Blackhawk's breasts sending her back wards and into the moldy water, she struck her head on a nearby rock. Her body rolling over from the blow, laying face first in the water, the water roughly four inches deep her head not fully submerged but one can drown in a inch of water. Her leg still bleeding, slowly, roughly for 15 minutes now.

Being the ruthless bitch she is Lady vic continues her escape letting Lady Blackhawk's pals help her out. With no further pursuit of her she makes her escape on a high speed motorcycle!

Huntress arrived in time to find Lady Blackhawk go down and the other woman racing away on a bike. Knowing she had to let the assassin flee, Helena raced to save Zinda, and in moments the woman's body was lying on the bank, with the Huntress feeling for a pulse only her neck. Finding one, Huntress pulled Zinda to her feet and then placed her limp body onto her shoulder in a fireman's carry, before they both slowly walked for the parked plane.

Part 7:

The water drained of Zinda's mouth and she coughed slightly as she felt herself being carried, bouncing up and down as they went. She opened her eyes slightly seeing part of Helena's costume, she smiled knowing Helena was okay, but why did she come back when she had everything under control she thought.

'mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm'

Helena walked into the War Room as she coined it, though it wasn't a name Oracle was especially fond of. Leaning against the desk just to Barbara's left as she so often did, Helena looked on at the various data-streams that were dancing across the three massive screens, amazed at the way Oracle shuttled this report one way and another the next.

Efficiency was sometimes Barbara's middle name though at times she became so much so, that it actually hindered a mission. The appearance of Lady Vic on the last mission was a prime example of that, in that Barbara should have known another operative, and an enemy at that, was on the premises.

The array of Intel coming in on one particular topic soon drew Helena's attention for the simple reason that it was just so - odd. Countless scientific equations and symbols flashed upon the screen, and once there, seemed to be drawn to some large DNA-looking construct, the exact design unknown to Helena's thinking. Science had never been her forte, as she taught English and History, and the fact that Barbara was spending so much time analyzing this stuff bored Helena to tears.

"Picked up a new hobby have you, Barbara?"

Silence met the obviously bored question. It was as if Barbara's whole world centered on the answer that was being researched at that moment, and whatever it was - whatever it was for - didn't leave room for idle chit-chat, let alone annoying questions. Well, Helena could be bored other places as well as this one, and as Barbara wasn't wishing to be forth coming on her little plant project, Helena decided to move on.

Pushing off the edge of the desk, Huntress pulled the mask off her face and started to disrobe. The night was still young and there were places she could go as Helena as opposed to the Huntress, Urban Avenger of Gotham City, and besides, she knew she needed to vent off some steam..., so she thought she would just take a night off.

"Helena, we need to talk, so stay here."

"I'm going out, Barbara.., will see you tomo...."

"No, I said stay here, this is important."

"I'm taking a night off, Barbara, and there's nothing you can do to stop me. Get it?"

"You want to find this Lady Vic, don't you? I have a way to find her developing here now, but if you don't really care, then go ahead. I'll send Cassie."

Barbara had done it again...pulled her strings, a habit Helena had told herself long ago she would not allow.

Pausing at the top of the stairs, Helena looked back over her shoulder and took a deep breath to calm her nerves, before she slowly turned and headed back to the red-headed woman sitting in the wheel chair. Over the years, Barbara had become her mentor, her guide, but most of all, she had become her friend, and even then Barbara may have become even more..., maybe the sister Helena never had. So she would listen.

"Ok, I'm in. What do you have?"

"A means of tracking our assassin if I'm correct. When you brought Lady Blackhawk into the building you set off the perimeter alarms, remember? I thought it a glitch in the system and ignored it until I went back and reviewed the data. Apparently the water Zinda and Lady Vic fought in is polluted with bio-chemical waste, not enough to hurt them, mind you, but enough to show up on the sensors."

"So what I've been doing is isolating the chemical or chemicals that set off the alarms to see if they could be traced, and if so, for what distance. It seems these tiny beasts leave a crystal clear trail behind them and remain on the skin for some time."

"Will you kindly get to the point Barbara?"

"Grrrrr. Ok, my point is we can track Lady Vic with the sensors I have created in the system, and coupled with the satellite systems at my disposal, the range of this new tracking apparatus is nearly limited."

"Then show me where she is now."

Adjusting her chair to give Helena a better view, Oracle noticed that Helena fell silent while she ran through the schematics of the sensor guidance system. What was to be a free night had turned into one of active duty, but Huntress paid no never mind as she knew Lady Vic had to be taken down at all costs, and that was just what she, no the team, was going to do.

Lady Vic is on the road between Gotham city and Bludhaven at present driving a sports car, but still in Gotham's city limits. She needed time to prepare for her trip back, never mind let her client know just what happened.

Neither she nor her client were pleased, but that's how things go it seemed. Vic had a headache when all was said and done. Partly from the drinking, partly from the beating, partly due to failing to completely deliver the message to her target.

It had been nearly twenty-four hours since Helena had confronted the woman known as Lady Vic, and much had happened since that night. The apparent target of the assassination plot had tripled his security, though Helena didn't concern herself with that..., though her targets were also protected equally as much.

Another side affect of that night was that there was now greater pressure on her person as she had recently discovered there was a contract out on both her and this Lady Vic, but who had been hired was as yet unknown to Helena or Oracle. Still, Helena went on about her nightly patrols making sure Gotham streets were as secure as they possibly could be, and the only thing that seemed to have changed was the numbers of fool hardy souls that thought to take her down...each one meeting the same painful fate as the one before. But tonight would be different as Huntress knew exactly where and when the assassin would show, and as such the Huntress was already there waiting for her.

Lady Vic was aware that someone had a hit out on her via contacts in her circle. Likely due to her failure to complete her contract. If she could complete this contract then perhaps it would be called off, but until then she kept her guard up. Then again she absolutely had to in Gotham.

She crept along the rooftops in full costume moving towards her next target, the one Huntress recently interfered with. Despite the increased security, no one was positioned here. It's rare that people ever are among mundane securities.

Finally he reached the rooftop of the building her target was in, and prepared to snipe her target through the skylight with a Vietnam era sniper rifle. Something that bordered on her desire to stick with older weapons, and her desire to stay away from modern weapons, but there was far less room for error now.

"I wondered when you might show up, though my sources told me you would. Oh, and don't go getting any hasty ideas in that head of yours..., I only wish to talk. Unless of course you have other plans."

Announcing her presence, the Huntress stepped from the shadows of the very chimney Lady Vic had just leaned against only minutes before. Her cross-bow at the ready in case it was needed, Huntress kept her eyes on the dangerous woman lying prone on the rooftop before her and smiled.., partly at her position and partly at the choice in weapons Lady Vic had chosen to use.

"Oh and that isn't your target down there. My source warned him of a potential hit tonight, and that is only a double."

"All right, lets talk, but if I don't like what you have to say, I'll be making the double do his job to the bitter end." She was very ready to call Huntress' bluff on the matter it seemed as she had the scope sighted in on the double's head, though her attention was on Huntress.

She knew Huntress appreciated the crossbow, perhaps as much as she did. Something they had in common, though Vic had no compulsion to use her crossbow exclusively unlike her purple clad foe. And despite Vic's desire to use archaic weapons, she only designed her armor off an old roman design, but she used modern materials. Odds were good that Huntress' crossbow would not create much of a problem with that in mind.
Yeah, Vic felt pretty confident at the moment.

"I won't bother you with asking for the name of your employer, but you need to know there's a contract out on the two of us. I'm not sure just who yet, but the idiot also announced this over the internet, for all takers, so you may notice an increase in attempts on your life."

Gaining Lady Vic's attention, the raven-haired vigilante moved off to the left of her opponent even though she kept the crossbow pointed directly at Lady Vic's torso. They really didn't have much to discuss, but to her way of thinking, any settlement between them would be better than none at all, and perhaps they could even come to an understanding of sorts!!"

"Which is another reason I need to complete my contra-ACK!" her back was forcibly arched as something, nae someone landed upon it, then leapt off leaving Vic to make a pained "Hurk!" and to squirm in pain on the ground.

It was nothing but a black, and silver blur due to well trained motions kept her in smooth action.

Huntress might have been able to look up and spot Scandal leaping at her some 8ft off the ground after she used Vic's armor as a spring board before she thrust a foot at Huntress' face as she sought to take down Huntress as well!

Scandal said not a word as she performed these actions, rather she took advantage of their distraction.

Part 8:

Had she been more alert, Helena might have seen the attack before it had started, but with her attention on the one assassin, the Huntress was caught off guard.

Avoiding the kick to her face, one that might have ended her as a threat for the night, Huntress aimed and fired the cross bow, though by the time it got to where her target had been standing, Scandal was already long gone.

Still, the arrow slammed into nearly one inch of hardened steel, telling all around that the Huntress was playing for keep as well, even as she herself brought out the staff and extended it to its full length, the better to defend and attack her newer target.

"Friend of yours, Lady Vic??"

"Does it bloody look like it?" She struggled to her feet after she had her kidneys stomped on. One hand drew a stylish Shaleighlie from her coat. "You must be some masochist if you think being stomped on is friendly. Maybe later I'll put that to the test?" she smirked before her attention was grabbed by Scandal.

Scandal walked out of the shadows while she heaved a sigh. "I expected you both not to be so dense. Especially you, Huntress," she spoke as her blades extended with the side blades ready to parry. "I thought it was obvious why I am here." she looked at them both. "You both have a bounty, and I'm here to collect. Oh, and protect my client." She raised her gauntlet clad arms. "I wonder which you'll make me do first?" she said as her eyes narrowed.

Kira had been out of her life too long for her to stay happy. Luckily this job came about before she went back to the bottle, and wasted away. This excursion made her money anyhow, as opposed to booze costing it.

"Hummmm, an enemy of an enemy is a friend?"

Launching into her attack, Helena swung the staff toward Scandal's torso, knowing the woman would have to act to defend herself, thus opening a shot for Lady Vic to attack. Sliding under Scandal's response, the Huntress rolled to her feet and stood behind her new opponent, even as LV drove home her own brand of retribution for the earlier blow to her back.

"Now you have a two-front war, woman."

Scandal's lamentation blades on one arm clashed with the staff, then locked with it as she lopped it in half with her blades that could easily slice through the toughest prison bars, then swung her half which clocked Lady Vic across her mask as she attempted a strike with her club.

A move neither one likely expected.

Scandal leapt over Vic's fallen form, landed in a roll, then stood facing them both. "I survived a lot worse than you two, formidable as you are. I'm hurt you've forgotten my long list of accomplishments to underestimate me so." she chuckled a bit.

Vic got up, holding the side of her face with a lens in her mask cracked from the strike. "Damn, that hurt." She drew her katar after she put away her club. "Lets see who's better with blades!" she thrust her blades at Scandal's locking them, then leapt high shoving Scandal to the ground only to be monkey flipped off where she landed near the skylight.

Scandal meanwhile used the inertia to get to roll into a crouch.

"Nice move, but I'm not impressed."

Sizing up her opponent, Huntress edged ever closer to Scandal while rubbing her right arm slowly. Once in range, she raised her right arm and fired off a volley of the smaller, but much deadlier power bolts, each capable of slicing through body armor, moments before she followed through with a third attacked, swinging the remaining staff up the side of Scandal's head like a tennis pro would her racket.

Scandal leapt to the side dodging the bolts, and forced Lady Vic to roll out of the way as she narrowly escaped.

"Watch where you're aiming brunette bimbo!!"

Scandal raised her arms, then caught the other half of the staff against her bracer which caused a shock wave of pain to travel into her arm. then her wrist whipped and struck at Huntress' exposed arm with the staff half she severed, then snapped it the other way trying to hit the Huntress in the face in a blurring quick motion that might've made Oracle a bit envious, ten tried to kick Huntress away.

"You really disappoint me. I figured you would've left me to protect the target form Vic instead of distracting me. What kind of a heroine are you?"

Lady Vic lunged into the dance, her katar clashing against the bits of steel that adorned Scandal's outfit, and slicing a wound into her arm before her lens was completely blasted out by the end of the staff half Scandal wielded which revealed a pretty blue eye, and made her reel away cupping it.

"I'll watch where I'm aiming if you watch who you're attacking, and you're the only bimbo I see around here."

Her own arm taking the returned hit, Huntress grimaced from the pain even as she dodged the second intended blow to her face, by dropping to a knee and driving a solid blow to scandal's abs, before she brought the severed end of her staff to bear on Scandal's knee cap.Getting to her feet scant seconds later, Helena paused in her attack and listened to the hype Scandal was giving her, which was more than enough to cause her to step back and reconsider her actions to date.

"Scandal, I would have thought you smarter than this? First off, the target is already protected, and second, I know who your employer is..., and I can guarantee if you complete your mission, you too will be killed off."

Scandal grunted, then toppled as Huntress's attacks landed true. She shoulder rolled to a defensive crouch once more.

"The 'protected' 'target' would have been dead by now if I hadn't-" she ran over to Vic, then kicked the scope of her sniper rifle as she tried to get the shot off causing the shot to go wild and miss everyone. "... interfered."

Security scrambled for the rooftop due to the wild shot. Men in suits with guns.

Scandal looked at Huntress and dropped her guard a split second. "And Huntress, I'm damn hard to kill. And it looks like my backup is on the way."

Vic managed to kick Scandal violently in the back making her fall into the skylight only to catch herself on the ledge which cut her hands due to the glass chunks that remained.

Vic stood, then began attempting her escape.

Where does that leave the Huntress?

Helena had little time to react and no real decision to make. Capture an escaping assassin or save an assassin.....a split decision in Helena's books. Grabbing one of the bat-a-rangs from a compartment on her weapons belt, Huntress threw it toward the fleeing Lady Vic, knowing it would slam into the base of her skull if all went well, while she headed to rescue the woman known as Scandal.

"I should let you drop, Scandal..., but unlike your kind, I play by rules. Now give me your hand."

Extending her hand to Scandal, Huntress pulled the woman up from a certain death before she placed her on the tarmac of the roof. Grabbing a rolled bandage and tape from another compartment of her belt, Helena then tossed it down at her foe, to let Scandal mend her own wounds.

"By the way...., that man down there is not, I repeat not, the actual target. Oracle and I had him moved from Gotham a week ago."

Vic managed to dodge the batarang and get away.

Scandal took Huntress' hand then climbed onto the rooftop. "You think awful low of me simply because I walk the wrong side of the gray, hm?" She frowned at Huntress. "I appreciate it, but it's not necessary" she stood, then gave the medical kit back to Huntress with a hand that no longer bled.

"And I know that man is not the real client, but I'm being paid real money. I've already been paid for this."

Security burst through the roof access, then quickly lowered their weapons as she assured them that Huntress wasn't the assassin. "I'm not going to turn you in for the money, Huntress. I'd get going before someone else decides to." Scandal says seriously to the purple clad vixen as her code of honor demanded that she help someone who helped her.

Part 9:

"I'm not going to turn you in for the money, Huntress."

"You'd pay hell trying to, Savage, you and these boy scouts here."

Moving for the fire escape, Huntress pulled the zip line from her weapon's belt and fired it toward another building. Diving off the roof, she fell in free fall for the few moments before the line went taught and forced her body to swing for the distant rooftop, even as three tiny red lasers danced off her back side. The fight was not over, not by a long shot, and the Huntress knew she now would need to find the person who had placed the contract on her and if that meant going up against Scandal a second time, then fine.., but the next time, Helena would be ready.

Scandal watched Huntress leave. Even though she felt the trade were unequal, unappreciated, and unnoticed, she felt she made even with Huntress. Next time the game would be on.

She walked past the security who weren't too mad at her since she did do her job. Capturing those two were optional. They were an option heavy incentive, though.

Still, something else in her didn't want to see Huntress get taken down as she watched her exit the scene.

Swinging from roof top to roof top for several minutes, Huntress finally came to a rest atop the Wyvern Building, home to Wyvern Pharmaceuticals. Recoiling the zip line yet again, she placed the unit back into the compartment it belonged in and then sat down on a roof access hatch to think. If Scandal was involved now, the whole mission was about to take a sharp turn to the left, and that meant trouble, especially with Lady Vic involved as well.

Her thoughts troubled to say the least, Huntress opted to call in the reinforcements early for once, just in case things got out of hand which they so often did with one of Oracle's plans; and in moments she had a direct line to the red-headed lady herself, though what good it would do was any body's guess.

"Oracle, I have an update. Scandal Savage is now involved with the Wyvern case. No, I know this because she jumped me and Lady Vic thirty minutes ago, but let me go for some reason. This is starting to get out of hand, O."

Scandal received word that Lady Vic had been successfully bought off, and this was no longer a three way dance. Vic was sent after Huntress as she was.

What in the world was she thinking now as she stood on an adjacent rooftop to the building Huntress was on. Especially because the whole roof top running bit was not her style?

She whistled for Huntress' attention, then waited, no apparently hostile.

Thinking it was the shrill of the wind at first, Helena ignored the sounds until she noticed her cape was not moving in the least. Only then did she spot Scandal standing on the next roof over, the mere sight of her forcing the Huntress to bring up a weapon in case the woman decided to attack again.

Scandal waved at Huntress signaling she wanted Huntress to come over.

She was lucky it was dark out. She wasn't happy. It was frikking cold at this altitude.

She also didn't look hostile. She didn't have her claws extended. In fact she she stood rather casually.

Scandal followed her peculiar code of honor, and it lead her here, waiting for Huntress to come over so she could deliver the news.

Despite walking the wrong end of the gray, she had some desire to keep things somewhat decent between her and the heroes.

Even from the distance they stood apart, Huntress could see Scandal's body shivering. Her own costume was insulated to a degree, but it appeared as if the other's wasn't. Lowering the weapon at last, Helena motioned for Scandal to follow her and then dove head first off the roof in a perfect swan dive..., her body dropping in free fall again before she casually pulled the zip line from her belt and fired it toward an approaching gargoyl, letting the line wrap around the monster to break her fall..

"I really need to get one of those." She watched the zipline in use.

"Well, when in Rome." She ran towards the path Huntress took, then leapt off the building towards Huntress. She aimed for a rootop a few stories below, but there was no telling where this woman was going.

In any event it was obvious she didn't have one of those fancy grapnel guns.

The next jump had to be timed just perfectly or there'd be a scrambled egg on the pavement below with Scandal's name on it. Waiting until she was sure, Huntress took a running start off the roof she had been on and dove out into the night air again, getting into position to grab the falling woman with her free arm and legs, seconds before the line went taut again, placing a tremendous strain on Helena's arm and hand holding onto the cord.

"UUgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..., glad you could drop in..., ummm, going my way?"

Scandal blushed a bit under her mask. She hadn't been in the arms, and... legs of a woman in months. Even with the fact that this was not something romantic, it felt good. She resisted the urge to fall into the pleasure, then looked at Huntress. "Seems that way." She said quietly.

"I've information for you, but it's best delivered when we land." She said a bit louder.

She wasn't walking in the light, or even the heroic side of the shade, but that didn't mean she was an utter villain.

She could worry about the heroes. She could try and warn them if something big was going down. She could enjoy the fact she had a soul.

Part 10:

"We have to land for you to talk, do we? well, I can manage that."

Twisting her body ever so slightly to the right, Huntress guided their body's to the closest roof top and then counted down the seconds before her boots would make contact. Landing softly for a change, due to her cargo, Huntress released her hold on Scandal and then pressed the button on the zip gun, allowing the cord to retract while she waited for the so called vital information. Every so often her eyes would glance this way or that, as if searching the areas around them. If a hit was on her head, then it was only sensible to be cautious, and that meant with Scandal as well.

"Well..............., I don't have all night."

"You've helped me, so I'm going to help you." Scandal explained her reasons in that one breath.

She crossed her arms. "Lady Vic has been bought off and she has a new target. You." She says flatly. "I doubt she will be near as nice to you if she catches you as I will, however."

The roof access door is kicked out suddenly. "And that's why I had been hired. I don't have a silly code demanding reciprocating aid!" Lady Vic immediately points a pistol blunderbuss at Huntress, essentially a gun that fires a spread of steel shards.

Her other hand has a a hand held shotgun pointed at Scandal. "Now why don't you come with me, Huntress? Or do I shoot?" her fingers rested snugly against the triggers.

"Shoot!"

Without another word, Huntress was over the side and in free fall, the third in one night. Though she could have stayed on the roof, it was two against one in her mind, and even the Kevlar reinforcement of the costume would not have helped against such a weapon. Making a grab for the zip gun while her body plummeted, the Huntress became all too aware that her cape was pressed against her side, preventing any such access to the required compartment, and with the ground coming up fast, she had little time to maneuver.

Twisting her body so that she was facing the ground stomach first, she waited for the winds to catch her cape before she made the desperate grab for the gun, managing to fire it well beyond the danger level of her training. The line shot, she watched the barb snag a passing gargoyle and become taut, knowing that with her momentum the sudden stop of her descent could well pull her arm completely out of its socket, but it was a chance she would have to take. Either way, it was going to be a rough landing.

Vic scowled as Huntress quickly left the range of any accuracy of her weapons as she fell from the roof. She looked at Scandal and decided what to do about her. As Huntress swung away she could hear the crack of two rounds going off from the roof she just left, though there was no way to tell what happened aside from that.

Yelping when her arm was yanked from its socket, Huntress attempted to grab the cord with her free hand, but it was too late. Moments later her body slammed against the second story of a brick warehouse, all but knocking her senseless before her grip finally relaxed enough for her to fall the final few dozen feet to the alley below.

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..............."

Groaning deeply, Huntress fell head first into a group of metal trash cans, sending them everywhere as her wounded body came to a rest on the hard pavement of the alley, the limp bat-cord falling easily upon her damaged body as if it was meant to be the last time used..., and in minutes all was quiet, save for Helena's labored breathing....

Lady Vic soon stood over Huntress with the blunderbuss pointed at her. "You should have stayed on the roof. Scandal wouldn't be bleeding back there on the roof with buckshot in her body, and you wouldn't be laying here at my mercy." she grabbed Huntress by the hair, then lifted her up roughly by her ebony locks. "Get up! You've annoyed me too much in the past few days to take it easy."

A car pulled up to the end of the alleyway, and Lady Vic started to drag Huntress towards it. "Try not to bleed on my seats?" She said then laughed cruelly.

If the impact with the bricks hadn't knocked her senseless, then the impact with the pavement had, finishing the job the wall far above had started. Her hair erupting in pain, the utterly senseless heroine had little to do but go along, though much of the short trip to the car was one of being dragged, her leather boots scraping across the broken asphalt and pieces of shattered glass, as Lady Vic "escorted" Huntress to the car, though whether they made it or not, Helena had no clue as she was unconscious before Lady Vic had her even three feet off the alley floor..

Vic laid the unconscious, and voluptuous Huntress across the back seat of her car. "Bivens, to our destination." The car drove away from the building, then headed for the employer's location.

On the roof Scandal gasped as she regained consciousness as she laid in the bloody mess. She slowly got to her feet, though she kept bleeding from the wounds. She fell backwards in a daze, and leaned on an airconditioning unit as she continued to heal quite angry at Lady Vic.

Semi-conscious, Helena continued to moan from the pain. Hanging from a hook set into a chain that stretched from the ceiling above, the Huntress' limp body swung back and forth ever so slightly, the result of her attempts to ease the pain that was shooting through her dislocated shoulder then straight up into her disheveled mind.

Though mostly out of it, every so often Helena thought she heard voices somewhere off in the distance, though for all she knew it was just her mind playing tricks on her.

Her body trembled - partly from the cold of the room - but also from the shock her body was entering into, and through it all the room remained pitch black, though it would have been some what brighter had the hood been removed from over her head.

Vic spoke to Huntress through the hood as she stood out of kicking range. "Awake are we? Good, my employer will be here soon, and you'll be a welcome sight. I'll get paid, and he can do what ever to you as you hang there. Sounds -lovely- doesn't it?"

"I'm half tempted to beat you further, but I don't know just how close to death you are." she smirked lightly. "If you would have just went with me, you'd not be in so much pain. And if you went with Scandal, that tart might have sent you to heaven before she put you in this hell." she teased as recent events made her really mad at Scandal.
"It's a shame you angered the wrong people, too. You do have a lovely figure, and odds are my employer will ruin it."

Part 11:

Words.......seemingly senseless words......rang distantly around Helena's mind, though if it was English or Russian or any other language, she had no clue. The last attempt to ease the pain only served to increase it as tendons, stretched to their limits already, stretched even further...., sending excruciating pain exploding into Helena's brain. Had an atomic bomb gone off next to her, the pain would not be as unbearable, but thankfully for her, the pain drove Huntress into the blissful feelings of unconsciousness....

Vic heard a car pull up outside. "That must my employer."

She turned from the unresponsive Huntess to the warehouse door as it opened, and a handful of men walked in to make sure everything was Kosher before their boss came in.

Vic kept her guard up incase there was going to be a double cross. They offered a lot of money for Huntress, and they may not want to pay up.

Adolfo Bertinelli walked into the warehouse flanked by a good dozen body guards. He could see what appeared to be the Huntress hanging in the middle of the room a hood covering her head as he had ordered, and her body stripped of all weapons. Stopping in front of Lady Vic for only a moment, he then moved over to where the heroine was hanging, only do rear back and drive a hard, brass-knuckled punch into Helena's stomach, forcing her body to contract even as the Huntress screamed out from the unadulterated pain.

"Take the hood off the bitch, Bruno."

Waiting while his second did as he was told, Adolfo them smiled. It was indeed the Huntress, the very woman that had caused his organization so much grief over the last year, and now she was his to do with as he pleased..., and a pleasure it would be indeed. Moving around her hanging body, Adolfo drove a second, then a third punch into her body, before driving a hard one straight up between her legs, send the Huntress back into unconsciousness instantly, before a small trickle of blood seeped from under the hem of her costume between her legs...

"You have done well, Lady Vic. I will meet your price and give you a bonus if you bring me the Batwoman next. In fact I will triple the fee. Bruno, pay her."

Lady Vic watched Huntress get abused so roughly, though she could swear that she felt a pang of guilt to leave her to these wolves.

The mention of money put away that guilt though. Vic smiled at Adolfo. "You're speaking my language. I accept the contract on Batwoman." she accepted the payment.

"Provided she hasn't gone into hiding you should have Batwoman within the next few days."

She headed out of the warehouse not bothering to count the money as it was in poor sport, and they had just hired her for another contract so killing her would be counter productive. She couldn't help but look back, though to see what they were doing to her now.

"Gentlemen, you may have your fun, but I want every blow, every kick delivered, every humiliating destruction of the bitch's body taped and only after you have finished with her, only then do you bring what's left of her to me. I'll be on the yacht. We'll dispose of her at sea. Mind you, she must not be killed unless I do it. And her mask stays on until I remove it."

With that said, Adolfo Bertinelli left the warehouse, the sounds of crunching blows in the background, bringing a smile to his face. It was one down and one to go, and with the two heroine's deaths, Gotham would be his for the taking, and even the Batman wouldn't dare stand up to him then.

She got into the car not wanting to think about what was being done to Huntress. There were some lines even she didn't cross, but as bad as she felt, it wasn't her crossing those lines.

Her car drove off into the night towards her apartment where she would get ready for hunting Batwoman, another one of Gotham's strongest women.

~ ~ hours later ~~

Beaten and defeated, Huntress lay on the floor of the warehouse. Her body had been ravaged for a good four hours, up to and including rape, but in her mental state, she had not seemed to notice, though her screams might have said otherwise. True to their instructions, the heroine had not been killed, though her physical condition was very close to death. Nor was her mask removed as per instructions. That would come all too soon enough, and then her image would be pasted everywhere to send home a message to the Batman and others..., but that sweet moment was still an hour away.

Grabbing the Huntress by the front of her costume, Bruno simply dragged her unconscious body out of the warehouse, leaving a trail of blood in her body's wake.

Once outside, he unceremoniously dumped her lifeless form into the trunk of the Lincoln he drove, making sure to secure both her wrists and ankles before he shut the hood. It had been fun beating up on the defenseless woman, but still, the real fun lay ahead. That she had yet to beg bothered Bruno to a degree, yet it also earned Helena a good deal of respect, and that said a lot in his
existance.

A socialite in her own respect, Kate often rubbed elbows with the jet set, even if they were from the wrong side of the tracks. Invited to a party by a young Sicilian man, Kate had left the Opera as his date, though that was farthest from the truth if one really wanted to know.As Batwoman, she had heard of a contract on the Huntress, and though they had never really met while on the job, a mutual friend of theirs had asked Kate to help out, and no one but no one refused the Oracle.

Sipping wine while on a yacht owned by the Sicilian's uncle, Kate had been enjoying the company of a select few, each discussing this venture or that past time. She knew most of the *guests*, as each one was connected in one way or the other to the mob, or as they liked to call it, organized crime, but still they were just trash to her, something for her to resent - to fight. Each of these "Dons" had been responsible for some kind of atrosity in their lives and Kate while Kate listened in as did the other ladies, she soon figured there could be nothing to surprise her about her host, but that belief was about to be challenged.

A smaller boat pulling along side, four large men climbed aboard, before a body was pulled up onto the deck. Held for but a moment, the woman was abruptly thrown to the deck itself, giving Kate her first good look for the night, which shocked her to no end. They had the Huntress, and though she was alive, Kate knew she was barely just..., simply from the cuts and bruises evident on her body.

The other women screamed in fear at the sight that lay sprawled out before them, and before she could act, Kate was ushered away like the other ladies, leaving the men alone with their prize.

Lady Vic stood at the docks and watched the "party" through binoculars with a hulking man behind her.

Floating below is a fast jetski that she planed to use to intercept any caped women that came their way. She wasn't sure if this would be the thugs with Huntress' body would bait out Batwoman, but it was worth a go.

She knew the goons were no match for the likes of Batwoman, and that meant she was free to step in, and collect the reward.

Elsewhere, a bloodied Scandal Savage headed towards the docks rather ticked that Vic had turned on her, and likely was given blessings by her employer to do so.
It took time to track down the goons who had Huntress, and it took time to deal with the wounds. Taking Huntress back would be the first blow against her ex-employer.

Odds are, with these mob bastards, Huntress would need help soon, too.

Seeing a fellow vigilante like how the Huntress was sent chills up her spine, but so too did it fill Kate with anger. she had expected to see the raven-haired woman beaten up - sure - not so seemingly close to death, and that was the picture Kate had in her mind now. That Huntress had to be saved was a no brainer, just as it was a no brainer that the only one to save her would be Batwoman, but how was the problem, that and when. Under armed guard in a room filled with terrified women wasn't giving Kate the best possible chance at doing anything, yet there was a way - there had to be a way.

Then it hit her. Light, if she could throw the room into darkness the other ladies would be thrown into a shear panic. They were already close to that point as it was, with many wondering if they too would be killed simply because of what they had witnessed, and Kate had no problems with pushing that fear a little bit closer to the edge. Moving ever so slowly, Kate reached for the sole souce of light in the room, a plugged-in ultra-powerful torch light, and waited. Closing her eyes while moving her lips, anyone close by would think she was praying, asking God to forgive her sins, which is what she was doing, partly to protect her and the woman, as to send even more fear into their already near paniced minds.

Seconds later, once her own eyes had adjusted to the darkness, Kate pulled the plug, sending the entire rooom into utter darkness. If the thugs had expected to fire off their weapons, then they had been sorely mistaken, as a dozen horrified women rushed them at once, drowning out any possibility of their calls for help, let alone their ability to raise a weapon. In the melee that occured, Kate slid from the room and ducked into the pantry to change, shoving what little the evening dress was into her bag, before producing a thin replica of the Batwoman costume, complete with all the accessaries one would need to get the job done..., and in minutes the red headed woman was walking across the top of the yacht toward the stern, hoping that the Huntress would still be alive to make the rescue worth while.

Part 12:

Vic saw the sudden chaos, then mounted her jetski. She began her approach running silent as she got close enough to use inertia to coast to the boat where she started to climb on to it being careful of the chaos.
She slowly began stalking the boat looking for signs of the cape that no doubt began this chaos with a dagger in hand, and the hopes that Batwoman is here in her mind.

Scandal is less lucky. She must swim the distance between the docks, and the boat, and she did so. At this point she had not arrived yet.

The movement off to her side had not escaped her notice any more than the woman who climbed on board the yacht had. Lady Vic was going to add an element of intrigue to the mix, but Kate was ready for that as well. One on one, Batwoman could probably take Lady Vic, if the other woman fought fair, but that was something Kate didn't expect Vic to do. Therefore, the odds had to be made even.

Reaching the stern of the yacht, Batwoman took one last look behind her and then jumped her body landing in the middle of thug city, taking all of them by surprise. She could almost hear Lady Vic getting closer, knowing where the woman was moving in from, and that gave Batwoman all the help she needed.

Waiting for the right moment, Batwoman grabbed the closest of thugs and drove a hard knee into his crotch to double him over, before she literally threw him into where Lady Vic should have been at that very moment, hoping it would force the dangerous woman back while giving her time to grab the Huntress and make a dash for freedom.

Vic found the lummox crashing into her, though she quickly used the inertia to throw him off. She got back to her feet in a kip up, then pulled a revolver from her armored coat.

"I'm being paid handsomely to take you down. Come along quietly." Vic said, obviously not expecting Batwoman to comply. "I'm sure you'll end up in better condition than Huntress if you do."

Vic watched Batwoman like a hawk, ready to swoop down on the winged mouse that is her prey.

"Sorry, I don't do requests."

Acting on instinct, Batwoman tossed three of her own patented smoke bombs between them and then made a mad grab for the Huntress. Moving in the blindness, she kicked two of the thugs over board knowing Lady Vic would think she had dove over with the injured woman in her arms as a result, though in reality, Kate carried Huntress to an awaiting boat that was riding along side the still moving yaht.

The splashes almost threw off who wasn't that eager to dive into the waters, but the roar of the engine from Batwoman's boat tipped her off. With a quick run she leapt off one boat, and boarded Batwoman's while she fired 2 pistol shots at Batwoman, and or the controls. She could barely aim the shots, however, so they were rather wild.

Vic managed to get a secure footing on the boat and readied herself for combat with a knife in one hand, and her revolver in the other. "I'm sad you underestimated me like that." She sneered. "Are you going to risk Huntress getting hurt worse in the fight, or are you going to surrender?"

"It is you who underestimate, woman..., not I."

Turning the wheel of the boat abruptly to her right, Batwoman held on while the craft went nearly vertical on its side, throwing anything that wasn't nailed down into Gotham Bay. It was only her own body that kept the unconscious Huntress from joining the flotilla of debris, but even as things did, Batwoman maintained her control...

-CHUNK!- Vic slammed the knife into the interior of the craft, and held on, and that required some focus. "Are you quite done yet, Bitch?"

She readied her pistol as she braced her body better.

"Bitch? I have not yet begun to fight."

Holding the wheel with her left hand, Batwoman released a bat-a-rang with the other, aiming it for the ancient-looking pistol before Lady Vic could get anything near a bead on her or the Huntress. Even as the weapon left her finger tips, she was on the move, driving a very hard kick between her enemy's open legs knowing exactly what such a blow would do to the woman's ability to carry on the fight, only then spinning the wheel back to the left to force the boat sharply onto its other side.

When all was said and done Lady Vic was overboard, and she swam for her dropped revolver as she preferred not to lose it and Batwoman in one night.

The capes managed to claim tonight, but things were far from over.

The unwanted passenger lost over board at last, Batwoman slammed the controls forward and raced off toward the distant shore. Huntress was in dire need of medical attention, attention Kate knew she could not provide, and at that point it didn't matter whether Huntress would save her secret identity or not. Speeding along, it didn't take long to pass the yacht and though Batwoman wasn't the least bit surprised to hear gun shots going off around her, she was surprised to find three smaller gun ships belonging to Gotham's finest, telling Kate that some one had called in the reinforcements....but who was the question.

Slowing down when she thought she saw movement up ahead of her, Kate placed the controls in neutral and moved for the back of the boat. There, half-drowned and bloodied, she found yet another mercenary, this one known as Scandal Savage, and though it was against her better judgement, Kate pulled her tired looking body onto the boat, before she moved forward and slammed the controls into next week a second time. Whatever was going down was bigger than she could comprehend, but Oracle seemed to take it all in stride when she reported in - not the least bit surprised to know an ambulance would be waiting at the docks for their arrival.

Part 13:

Scandal looked up at Batwoman through wet reddish brown locks of hair after she were dragged in. "Thank you for helping Huntress." She said quietly, then settled in, sitting on the floor, where she drip dried. "But why did you pick me up?" She looked at Batwoman seriously.

Elsewhere Lady Vic rendezvoused with her man servant, then drove away to fight another day as her ride was perfectly placed to slip from the police.

She cleaned her weapons as she sat on a towel that absorbed the water from her clothes, with another towel wrapped about her.

"What would you have me do, leave you to drown like the rat you are? There's nothing out here except the men in blue and sharks. Count yourself lucky, Scandal."

Pointing the small boat towards land, Batwoman turned her back on the dangerous woman for a few precious moments while she piloted the craft. Switching to auto-pilot for the time being, she then turned sideways to face both Helena and Scandal, hoping to keep an eye on both while still making sure they didn't run over or into something. Glancing down at Helena's sleeping and badly beaten body for a few moments, Batwoman suddenly remembered what Scandal had said when she had been pulled aboard, her concerns for Huntress, and soon her gaze had settled on Scandal again even as she placed the transmission in neutral.

"You thanked me for helping Huntress............................................................, why?"

Batwoman did not know it, but she didn't have anything to fear from Scandal. It seemed not many knew about Scandal's "code."

She didn't move as she drip dried on the deck of the boat, she just answered the question. "As much as I loathe giving away this fact about myself, I actually have a code of ethics. Huntress has helped me more than once, and I wanted to repay her by rescuing her. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance," She said calmly, making it no secret that there's a series of holes in the side of her outfit that look conspicuously like bullet holes, or, to be more exact, a pattern of buckshot, but there were no wounds.

She told the truth, or at least part of it. Deep down she found Huntress pretty attractive, but she couldn't just tell that to the world.

"I see, so you had a reason to help Huntress then. I could seek the answer, but just this once I will not. I only ask that you not hurt her, Scandal."

Pushing the throttle forward again, Batwoman took the small craft the final few hundred feet to the dock and the waiting medical personnel that Oracle had sent. Tying the boat to the pier, Batwoman knelt down to pick the Huntress up, cradling the injured woman in her arms, the only sound a soft, pain-filled moan that slipped past Helena's teeth, before she faded back into unconsciousness once more.

"Will you be coming along, Scandal? I have no problems with you doing so."

Scandal shook her head. "No, I'm headed off. I doubt I'd feel comfortable among the birds never mind any police," She disembarked, "Or trusted enough to be wanted around," she added, then started to walk away. She did pause, however, and half turn. "Give Huntress my best wishes." she added, then started to walk away again. She could be stopped if someone wanted to, but odds are she's going to ride off into the sunset metaphorically speaking if she isn't.

She did want to go, stay, look over Huntress, see her heal, but her life is rarely about what she wants, even when she thinks it is.

Watching Scandal move off, Kate stood there with her arms crossed under her chest and wondered what wasn't being said - or done. She had heard the initial coments and had started to leave, to go on her own way as well, only to pause when Scandal added the last bits to the ever growing puzzle. Could it be that Scandal had a thing for Huntress? It could be possible, as she herself had one for Renee, but why the secrecy? Why the hiding in a closet...a closet, heh, like she had for so long. She had to act one way or the other, and this time she attacked, running up to and grabbing Scandal by the front of her costume to stop her, before pushing the woman back against a pier so they could talk in private.

"Ok, out with it, you have feelings for her, don't you? Don't lie to me, for believe me I will know."

"Yes, I do, but I'm on the wrong end of the gray." Scandal said with some sadness. "No matter what you may think of me, I am Scandal Savage. I'm a mercenary, not a cape." Scandal said with some actual pride in her words, though. "I don't think it could work. There's line we can't cross."

She remained, and watched Batwoman incase she had more to say. Scandal didn't look like a merciless mercenary, nor did she look particularly heroic. She looked like a woman in turmoil.

"You haven't known Huntress all that long have you? For if you had, you'd know she was closer to the gray as you call it at one time as well. She was willing to shed a life of a villain if it meant the safe return of an innocent."

Relaxing if only just a little, Batwoman moved over to lean against another piling, so she could keep an eye out for Lady Vic. The woman was still out there some where - close - and that concerned Kate to a degree. Looking at Scandal at last, she thought about what else could be said, before she had to leave, knowing that in the end, Scandal herself would have to take the next step.

"I don't know about any lines in the sand, but I'd give it a chance before just walking away."

Thinking for another minute or two while she let that all sink in, Batwoman then pushed off the pier and moved off, only to pause moments later when she had reached the bottom of the stairs that led up to the pavement.

Looking back over her shoulder, she opened her mouth to speak, only to stop herself, yet doing so anyway, in case she could be of help.

"If you'd like, I can take you to where Huntress will be recuperatng. She'll - - need someone."

"Oh, I know, but she's on the crime fighting side. I'm not." Scandal replied casually. "It's still two different worlds, and I can't ask her to be a part of mine, and I ... simply don't want to be a crime fighter." She chuckled softly.

"Still, I think the place Huntress will heal can be a neutral ground." She smiled softly. "I'll do what I can, if she wants me there when she wakes up." she walked towards Bat Woman casually. She did not know what would happen in the future, but she felt a need to see where this would take her.

Kate nodded her head in thought before she walked up the stairs to the landing. Checking in with Oracle to tell her what was going on, she then motioned for Scandal to get in the car before she herself did. Minutes later, Kate started the engine on the late model deep red Lamborghini and drove off, knowing that by the time they'd arrive at the safe house, that Huntress would be there and resting, her wounds needing time and loving care to heal.

"By the way, for the record, I don't have any bad feelings about you."

Part 14:

Scandal entered the car without hesitation, though she half expected handcuffs and straps to pop out of the seat, and tie her up on the spot.

As they traveled, Batwoman spoke her feelings towards Scandal, and Scandal found those rather nave, honestly.
"I appreciate that, Batwoman, but I think it's mostly because we haven't clashed much." Scandal said calmly. "Huntress may not have the same feelings."

She hadn't battled Huntress much, either, but there was still some unusual relations between the Birds of Prey, and the Secret Six. They were enemies, and friends at the same time, it felt like, now and then, but she'd be really surprised if Huntress accepted her with no complaint.

She got out o the car, and she helped Batwoman transport Huntress to where she can recuperate, in hopeful peace.

"You underestimate me, Scandal. Were we to have clashed, or if I thought you might do harm to Huntress, you wouldn't be sitting here."

Getting out of the car in the basement garage, Batwoman checked the security features before she opened the doors for the "special medics", members of the very same Bird's of Prey, that Huntress herself had worked for.

The next hour saw her over seeing the immediate care for the injured heroine, the removal of her costume to be replaced by a gown, even though her mask was not touched. The detail finished at last, the two female medics left the safe house and the Huntress to Batwoman's care, though they both gave wary looks to Scandal before they left...

"One thing Scandal. If you hurt Huntress in any way, I'll hunt you down and kill you."

"You're right. I would have just kept walking. There's nothing noble in taking down someone in the shape Huntress is in." Scandal said seriously. "I don't doubt your abilities, but don't think you're unstoppable." She remained pretty serious.
She expected the wary looks she's been given, and she expected what Batwoman said.

With that the latex clad woman left the room, leaving Scandal alone at last with her friend..

Problem was, the people she got close to tended to get hurt. Knockout... Kira... She missed them both, and with the luck she's had she wondered if she could ever find someone, and actually enjoy a relationship. She did not want her lovers hurt, so she took the obvious way out for a while, and simply denied herself the opportunity to watch people she cared for hurt.

With that though in mind her body slumped a little as she stood by Huntress' prone body with one arm clasped by the hand of the opposite arm. She walked over to a chair, then took it off the floor before she carried it over by the bed. She sat it down, then had a seat in it, and waited for Huntress to mend.

Days passed into nights while Helena slept, her body healing slowly even as it fed on the fluids and medicines being pumped into her right arm. Attendants came and went in regular fashion each one checking fluid levels or changing the bed's sheets, and through it all, nary a one spoke to Scandal, although they did exchange hushed comments regarding her presence. Nearly two in the morning, Helena opened her eyes partly to look around, her body aching all over, forcing her to emit a soft moan of pain when she moved her head to see who might be there. Wondering, the Huntress started to get up, but before she could, a pair of hands touched her shoulders, though the face itself was still a blur.

Scandal did not care if the medics spoke to her, and she did not care to speak with them. She was asleep when she heard Huntress waking up, which was better than hearing some villain breaking in.

"Lay back down." Scandal said calmly. It was hard to tell how much, or how little she slept, but she did look a little tired. She was surprisingly gentle, and even a bit sweet, and motherly.

"You're still recovering," she continued in her gentle tone, as she practically insisted Huntress lay down more.

Her fever broken, Helena laid back upon the pillow again before she closed her eyes to rest. Fighting the pull to sleep again, she finally managed to whisper out a nearly silent question **who?** before she drifted off to a much deeper, more restful sleep.

Scandal smiled lightly as she saw Huntress go back to sleep, then tucked in Huntress carefully before she returned to her own seat, reclined it, then fell asleep as well.

How long she'd been asleep let alone in the bed, Helena didn't know, nor even how she got there or who undressed her. Reaching for the mask, she was surprised to find what might have been a liquid latex version that had already sealed to her skin, and though she wondered just who might have done that, it was just another question to add to the pile of questions in her mind just now.............., like what was Scandal Savage doing sleeping in a chair next to the bed?"

Moving as quiet as a church mouse in a room full of snoozing cats, Helena started to remove the various tubes and sensors from her arms, though in doing so, she failed to notice the state-of-the-art string that was attached to her gown's sleeve by the state-of-the-art safety pin, that ran to the sleeping woman, telling her that her patient was in fact awake and doing what she was not allowed to do....get out of that bed!

"Don't." Scandal's voice came quiet, and tender. It was difficult to tell, immediately if she were awake or not by the tone, but one of her large, expressive eyes looked directly at Huntress with an obvious concern.

The string, and the clip were just precautions, but unnecessary it seemed. Scandal, in all her touching, loving moments, managed to learn how to wake up when someone in the room did. Usually, anyhow.

Her head turned to look at Huntress, whom she left rather unmolested. What's been done to her was largely due to the medical units.

"You need your rest," she said in an almost motherly tone, "So lay back down, and wait until you're better healed."

The latter part almost sounded like Scandal would make her. Despite the holes in her outfit gratis of Vic and her shotgun, and blunderbuss, she was in perfect health, though a bit sleepy.

"And suppose you make me, Scandal. I am not one to stay in bed indefinitely. And why are you here anyway?"

She was angry.., angry and working on an empty stomach. Taking out the last of the intravenous tubes, Helena slid out of the bed and started to walk, only to feel a wave of dizziness flood through her mind and force her to lean back against the bed until it passed.

She hated to be a patient and was never really a good one, and if no one believed that all they had to do was ask Oracle, or Batgirl, or Zinda, or anyone else that knew her.

Part 15:

Scandal reached over, and grabbed Huntress by the shoulders, then made a good effort to try and put Huntress back onto the bed, and keep her laid down.

"Yes, I will try. I'll have you strapped down if needed." Her tone was not joking at this point.

She purposely did not answer the question as to why she's here. Her brief line of lovers were dead and gone far before their time, and she still worried about what would happen this time. Still, the concern she shows in her voice and eyes may speak volumes.

She slowly moved her hand to press the Nurse Call button to get help in returning Huntress to the IV unit.

Huntress scowled at Scandal when she was grabbed, but to her surprise she wasn't really strong enough yet to break free of the grasp. Sighing, she got back into the bed but rolled over expectantly to give Scandal a quick kiss on her cheek, before she flopped back onto the sheets again. Looking up at the ceiling for a moment, Helena turned her head to see what Scandal was up to only to study the masked woman's face intently, while she wondered why the mercenary was really there?

Scandal hadn't dismounted yet, so she obscured Huntress' view of the ceiling as she straddled the woman to hold her down in what was, apparently, overkill. The last bit of struggling came with the kiss.

Scandal blushed, and smiled a bit behind her mask, then she leaned down close to Huntress, looking her right in the eyes with her own expressive eyes. "Keep that up, and I might like it." She flirted a bit as she spoke in a quiet, sensual tone.

She didn't seem to notice that their close, close, proximity had their heaving mounds of breasts touching each other tenderly, nor that Scandal's hands moved from Huntress's shoulders to her wrists which were moved adjacent to Huntress' head.

But despite all the flirting, it was apparent that it was Huntress' move at this point.

Huntress watched while Scandal seemingly started to pin her down, as it was not so much to keep her in bed as to do something else. Her hands by her head on the pillow, Helena looked into Scandal's eyes as if for the first time, only to glance down at the woman's deep, beautiful cleavage, very much equal to her own if anyone cared. Helena could feel their breasts touching with each breath they took, and Helena thought maybe - but no it couldn't be - then again.

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."

Confused or maybe still a little doped up from the drugs, Helena leaned up and brushed her lips across Scandal's, before she planted a soft kiss on the woman's moist lips. She had never kissed a woman before, though there had been times she had thought of it with Dinah, but if this was what it felt like, Helena knew she had been missing out on another life.

Scandal kissed Huntress in return, and even through her face mask, it felt heavenly. "Mmmhmmmm... Mmmh." Scandal slipped a hand to the mask, then tugged it down so the kiss could deepen. She wanted to know what Huntress wanted. How she felt. If there was someone who could possibly survive being the lover of Scandal Savage, it might just be Huntress.

At present, Scandal was told Huntress's wounds were fine, and healed so there was no need to try and avoid opening wounds. At least physical ones.

Scandal's knees slid back, and slowly, her body lowered onto Huntress' body Scandal's costume, and Huntress' hospital robe between them.

Scandal's tongue slid across Huntress' lips, and she nibbled her lower lip playfully with heated, aroused breaths, and soft, warm moans.

Helena had not expected Scandal to return the kiss, and when she did, her eyes opened wide. In one moment, the reason for Scandal to be in the room became very apparent and Helena cursed herself for not seeing it back on the rooftop with her and Lady Vic, or even before that when Scandal had let her go when she clearly had the Huntress at a disadvantage.

Feeling the hot tongue slide across her lips, Huntress moaned softly when her lower one was bitten - nibbled, the sensations flooding her mind with each passing, heated second. Wrestling her right hand free at last, Helena gently caressed Scandals exposed face, seeing for the first time exactly who it was behind the mask before she delievred a second, even hotter, more hungry kiss, driving her own tongue into Scandal's mouth to get a real taste of her essence.

The hot, hungry kiss was returned with pent up passions, and lusts. Despite what most thought, she was a needy woman with wants, and needs like any other human being on this planet.

She pressed their bodies together as she took deep breaths as their lips clashed, and their tongues twined.

Scandal's hands slipped into Huntress' ebon locks, an her fingers clawed up loose handfuls as she arched her back slightly, and wriggled slightly, rubbing their bodies together. There wasn't a bit of doubt Scandal wanted Huntress even though she was the only non-redhead she ever acted with in any meaningful manner.

And there was no doubt Huntress wanted this, too. The women who danced in the shades of gray now danced upon the hospital bed with Scandal's body heating more and more, moment by moment.

This wasn't the ideal way she wanted to start a relationship, mind you, but hell if she were going to complain. Now all that's left is to make this last.

Aroused, Helena placed her left leg over Scandal's right one and started to rub their legs together, Deepening the kiss, she used her other free hand to cup Scandal's heaving right breast, before her thumb started to flick the protruding bud into rock solid hardness. In moments the bed was squeaking under their relentless assaults upon it's springs, but thankfully the door to the room was closed and the bed itself well off the wall. Only their excited moans would be heard, if they were too lost in the heated moment to keep from uttering any, and Helena knew she would be.

"Excuse me, but I don't think this is allowed....."

Huntress had quickly become privy to a side of Scandal only one other had seen so far. The passionate loving side that was buried deep within her.

But,

The mood was interrupted by a nurse she recognized as she's seen her come and go many times. It was as if they had a rule in this house towards the idea of "If you're in here, you wear latex." Everyone but her seemed to, and she wasn't sure why. No one handed Scandal a pair of latex pants, or anything, though.

She moved her mouth from Huntress' lips to her ear, then she whispered. "We can continue this another time." She said with a deep longing, then nibbled her earlobe a moment. It wasn't easy as her sex drive stopped on a dime, but certainly the nurse would get other staff, and well, Scandal didn't like having an audience, never mind being dragged away.

She sat up, then slipped off Huntress' body before she calmly returned to her chair.

Had there been a phone, it would have been ringing off the wall. If they had been at home the stupid doorbell would have been chiming. Here they were in a private room of a private hospital and still they get interrupted. Feeling Scandal's hot breath against her neck when she whispered "We can continue this another time."; Helena sighed inwardly and then looked toward the nurse. How the woman managed to keep such breasts in that scanty nurse's outfit was beyond her, but then, the same could be said of her own body in the costume.

"Yeah, later, when I've been released."

More like when the nosy nurse left the room was on her mind, but still, she was weak, still recuperating, and if the Huntress was well enough to do foreplay or more in the hospital bed, then she'd be healthy enough for some new Oracle-inspired mission. Laying back in the bed, Huntress endured the disgusted looks from the nurse while she put the various needles and tape back where they belonged, the very ones she herself had ripped out before Scandal ripped her a new heart - a newer goal, one which would definitely be continued later on.

Part 16:

Scandal couldn't wipe that small, "yummy" smile off her lips as she sat there, and let the nurse get Huntress checked up, or what ever she came in for. Certainly it wasn't their bouncing. She sure didn't push the call button.

Ah well. She simply resumed her vigil over Huntress, making sure there's no one coming after the ebon haired bombshell.

She wasn't too disappointed, after all, she practically cemented a relationship, and now she has someone to shower with affection now. Still, her luck with women was poor. Deep in her heart, that bothered her.

"There, you're all comfy again, and will be so long as this **** doesn't decide to rip your tubes and needles out again. I mean really, girl, can't you curb your animalistic behaviors? We have a sick woman here."

Giving Scandal one last look of disgust, Nurse Beth walked from the room and went on about her rounds.

She hoped the two women would behave but somehow she knew they would not. Huntress for her part remained quiet for awhile before she rolled onto her left side to gaze into Scandal's eyes, well perhaps lower, but the eyes were the eye to her inner secrets, and it was those Helena felt like exploring soon.

Scandal growled a bit at the Nurse as she were under the wrong impression, but gave it up there. She sighed a bit, then relaxed in the leather seat seeming to go back into her sentry mode for a moment. And in that moment it seemed like the relationship had been reset, but a glance, and a smirk showed that Scandal looked forward to their first date, so to speak.

She thought about all the things they'd do, though it'd be awkward since she only knew Huntress as Huntress.

Laying on her side, Helena stretched our her right hand to touch Scandal's knee for a moment, as if to say she longed for Scandal's touch once more. Letting her fingers caress Scandal's knee for a moment, Huntress finally let her fingers slip down the leg and then off, while she slid into another short nap. Her eyes closed, Helena drifted off to sleep, letting her hand dangle off the bed while she did, her dreams being of nicer things for once....of a mask less woman she might be able to call something more than just a friend.

She smiled at Huntress seeing her hunger for more.

That's good. She wanted to give Huntress all she wanted, and more, and a playful smile towards her gave that idea wordlessly as she watched her lover doze off.

Waking up to a darkened room, Huntress slowly rolled onto her back before settling in again. Scandal was no where to be found, that is, not until she heard a near silent breathing, telling her top look the other way, and there she was - asleep - in the same bed. Smiling softly, Huntress placed her head on Scandal's left breast and fell asleep again, drifting off to the rhythm of the woman's heart beat as if nothing else mattered in the world.

Yeah, to hell with it. Huntress looked like she needed someone to cuddle, and Scandal volunteered. To hell with the nurse. She was no fun.

Scandal let out a soft moan as Huntress touched her, but didn't wake, it seemed. She simply remained close.

It felt so great to share a bed again.

If the nurse had come by then she either had not seen the woman in bed with her, but either way, Scandal's left breast was still under Helena's head when she woke.

Purring almost like a cat at first light, Helena slid her left hand across Scandal's flat stomach before giving her a soft hug. They had spent the night together and though nothing more than sleep had occurred, just the idea that another had shared her bed and held her was enough for Helena this night. And when Scandal woke, she'd find the Huntress still lying upon her breast, content and hopeful of a new beginning.

Scandal exhaled softly, and hugged Huntress close. She enjoyed the closeness that she hadn't truly felt in a long, long time. She lazed about happily, though she kept her senses open, and she kept ready to move. She wasn't sure if Huntress was still a target, or not, and the last thing she wanted was to lose a third lover.

As much as she wanted to abandon love, and caring, she always found it impossible.

She counted her blessings that the nurse hadn't interrupted them... yet.

Helena slept soundly the rest of the evening and into the next day, more soundly than she had in the previous three nights combined. Stirring very little, she finally opened her eyes to see literally dozens of bouquets of flowers, and though she thought maybe from Oracle only, the different colors ad well as flower shop names too told her differently. She was loved so it seemed, as a colleague, and a companion, but mostly she was loved as a friend. But even then, all of the flowers paled in comparison to what Helena felt in her heart, and though she was confused at the time, Helena thought that maybe her life had just turned a corner and was heading in the right direction.

Part 17:

Scandal, at about that time, returned from eating the mediocre restaurant food from the first floor sipping a soda from a paper to go cup. She probably could have had food delivered, or something, but she didn't go out of her way to lavish herself.

She did, however, go out of her way for Huntress. More than a few of the bouquets are from Scandal, and at least one has a gold necklace in the card to be found as a surprise.

"Sleep well, beloved?" Scandal asked softly as she sat the cup down, then sat by Huntress on the bed, smiling at her with all the fondness one could want expressed in her eyes.

"Would you believe better than I have in years?"

Her head propped up against two thick pillows, Helena studied Scandal's features for a bit before she brought her right hand to the woman's right cheek. Caressing her soft flesh, with her fingers, Helena paused and looked toward the door as if she had heard someone approaching, only then returning her gaze to the woman she ahd shared a bed with.

"And I have a confession to make. I've never slept with another woman before, let alone did any thing we've done. I enjoyed it, I enjoy you."

Scandal smiled and pressed a kiss to Huntress' lips even though she caught the glance towards the door. It definitely put her on guard. Her cup holding hand moved so the fingers were on the base of the cup so she she could be ready to throw it at the person if they were an intruder, but it didn't look out of the ordinary.

Scandal kept her claws on, though covered by a leather jacket as it was a bit chilly outside. "There'll be plenty more for you to enjoy, I'm sure, beloved. But you must be at your healthiest." she said with a mix of playfulness, and seriousness. Scandal took the route of caution, and didn't mention that she were a lover to Knockout, new of the New Gods, and strong enough to knock around a Kryptonian, and they played rough together.

Helena moaned into the kiss despite her best efforts not to. The last thing she wanted was to have the moan heard beyond the open door which could alert a nurse to bother them again, and at this moment, in this place, with this woman, Helena wanted to be completely alone.

Breaking the kiss at last, Helena planted a kiss on Scandal's forehead and then pulled back again, before she looked at the open door for a second time, knowing what had to be done.

"Scandal, would you mind shutting the door and applying the lock for a few minutes?"

"You bet, beloved." she smiles at Huntress, then turned to walk towards the door.

Never in a million years did she think that she would be in bed with a rival group member so to speak. A Secret Six member and a Bird of Prey? An amused smirk crossed her lips, though her guard was up as she neared the door.

She was tensed, and ready to strike if she saw someone without latex on, more or less. That meant the heroines, and the nurses.

With Scandal's back turned, Helena reached up and took off the all-important mask, to reveal her secret identity, since it really wasn't all that secret anyway. Several already knew her name, and even the Scarecrow and the Mad Hatter knew her face, even if they didn't know the name that went with it.

"I thought I'd take a chance...."

Scandal had locked the door, and made certain it was secure, perhaps exhibiting some considerable paranoia in the process. She turned around and saw Huntress unmasked. Undaunted, unphased, she walked over, and kisses Huntress hungrily. "Your beauty is immense, lover."

Scandal was pleased at the trust, and wished she could offer something like it in return, but when one doesn't always wear a mask, nevermind make an effort to have a code name, there's no mystery to Scandal's secret identity.

Still, maybe in the end the trade will be equitable as Scandal offers a different aspect on love between two people.

Unable to resist Huntress' allure, she pressed another warm, loving kiss to her mouth.

Feeling the warm, moist lips upon her own, Huntress grabbed Scandal and pulled her onto the bed, effectively pinning her own body beneath her lovers. In minutes, their body's were intertwined upon the bed as Helena or Scandal vied for control, though even as she lovingly wrestled Scandal, Huntress wanted to do so only to a certain degree so as to let her lover share in the control, the domination, and the love making.

Scandal's hands slid down Huntress' fit body to her firm, smooth thighs, then raised them around Scandal's waist to further pin Huntress down as she presses her kiss onwards. A kiss filled with warmth, and longing.

Her tongue licked into Huntress' moist mouth, and sought out her lover's tongue for companionship as the kiss deepened.

Scandal's right hand moved to the pillow next to Huntress' head to brace her from crushing her lover too much while pressing against her at the same time to share the fiery warmth, and passion as her body heated.

Helena returned the passionate kiss even as Scandal came down upon her. Feeling all warm and tingly for a change, she continued to enjoy the sensations washing over her mind, until her senses picked up another person close by. Slapping the mask back on while she had her face hidden by Scandal's body, Helena pushed Scandal off of her in time to find Miss. Busy-body standing in the doorway, an obvious frown on her face, before the nurse shook her head and moved in..., with three more nurses in tow behind her.

"Since you seem to be feeling well enough to disobey your doctor's orders, Miss Huntress, you may as well get out of here and go some place where you two can continue your animalistic tendencies. As of now you are discharged. Get dress and leave - the both of you."

Animalistic tendencies aside, had Helena been in a different mood, she would have flattened the nurse for the insult, but as it was, she wanted to get out of the place. Sliding out of the bed, Helena walked for the closet to find her costume hanging there all neatly pressed and clean, and then started to get back into it.

She knew Scandal was watching her every move as she donned the material, so Helena dressed exceedingly slow for a change, while she slid the tight fitting latex up her legs, before running her hands up and down them to smooth and tug the material into place. Only then did she stand up and pull the costume up over her most private of regions, letting Scandal see she wore nothing under the material, even as her breasts disappeared under the deep purple, blue and white symbol of the Huntress.

Part 18:

Scandal didn't keep her... tendencies secret some times, so it didn't bother her too much to have the nurse see.

She simply wore a smile on her lips even as she were shoved off, and almost fell to the floor under Huntress' strength.

She glanced at the nurse, and resisted the urge to say she shouldn't be jealous just to jab at the poor nurse who had to see such passions, and not receive.
Scandal wasn't too surprised that she had the room's key.

Still...

Then her attention went to Huntress who's body she appreciated greatly. A very lush, and dazzling body that was one of the finest she had seen. A body worth carving a statue of.

She could only wonder how she lucked out like this. How she got to ruffle the feathers of a Bird of Prey so to speak.

Now there was only one question left. Two options, really. Should she wine, and dine her new lover, and date her as a celebration of her recovery, or just get back to someone's home, or a hotel room to continue, and enjoy the glorious part of a relationship where the two new lovers simply cannot keep their hands off each other in earnest?

Both had their benefits, obviously.
Well, perhaps on their way out, her sweet Huntress will make the decision for them?

Finally done with the red tape, Helena headed down to the private part of the basement garage where she found her cycle. Swinging her right leg over the bike, she smiled back at Scandal before she looked back to her bike and patted the back of the seat, a move to get Scandal to join her so they could leave the place.

They had things to discuss, like why Scandal had come on to her?, how they would continue this budding relationship especially if they should find themselves on the opposite side of some fight?, Lady Vic and the contract out on her?, and a few more.., but to do that meant they'd have to be some place safe and alone, and that meant a place Helena knew well enough....., well one of several.

"Hop on, unless you're scared. I know a place we can go to continue that discussion as well as tackle a few more."

Scandal wasn't used to riding bitch... in fact she never did. No one she knew rode a bike. Well, she supposed there was a first time for everything. She got on, ten slid her arms around Huntress' waist adoringly. "Let's ride."

She said with a little smile.

The innuendo was easy enough to grasp, and she didn't mind at all. She just wanted to get some place safe, and decent. She also wanted to make Huntress bedridden again for a while... in the good way.

Her healing factor boosted her stamina, and she looked forward to expending all of that stamina on Huntress, and give her a taste of some "Savage" love.

"Put this on so we can communicate."

Sliding a headset back over her shoulder, the Huntress then touched the side of her mask to activate her own comm-link, before she went through the start-up procedures. Even in the sub-basement garage, even with the added secrecy and total security that Oracle would provide, the Huntress had learned to be just that much more cautious, especially with a price on her head. Lady Vic had succeeded once, but with her escape, Helena was sure the assassin would try again.

"Hold on back there..., I'm kind of a crazy driver."

The Predator cycle sprang into life much like its name sake, the instant the Huntress cranked the throttle forward. Racing out of the deep garage, she timed the seconds that her approach would make at the current speed - 80 miles per hour - and smiled when the wall that concealed the private ramp slid away to reveal the normal garage of the private hospital. Touching a hidden button on the left handle bar of the bike, the heroine raced on, knowing the wall was already closing behind them, but all she cared about was herself, Scandal, and their safety.

"I know of a safe house close by, but we'll need to be careful, in case Lady Vic is around the area."

Scandal nodded, then slid the headset on keeping her arms around Huntress snugly. "You got it." Scandal said, then held on.

"I doubt Lady Vic is after you again. She did her job, and is likely off doing another." Scandal speculated. "I think we have time to ourselves. I certainly hope we do." She smiled. "I'd like to know you much better with no one interrupting." she said softly.

It's a two way street where getting to know one was concerned, was what Helena was thinking. Feeling Scandal's breasts pressed against her back, Helena wondered what she was going to do, or where this would take her down the current road. She had never experienced lesbian kissing before, let alone sex, but what precious little they had done was so awesome that Helena wanted to delve deeper into that side of her.

"You think so? I'd have thought they might try to re-hire her since I escaped, but it was lucky that Batwoman showed up when she did. If my uncles had unmasked me to see who it was behind the mask, all hell would have broken loose. Not much farther now."

"True, but you were in their grasp. Lets get to the safe house, and wait a bit to be sure, though." She snuggled Huntress softly making sure not to throw off balance, or control of the bike. "Lets enjoy things while we can, hm?"

Scandal wasn't able to think straight with the scent of Huntress in her nose, and such warmth, and closeness. All she wanted to do was enjoy her life. Something she hadn't had the liberty to do for a while. Not fully, anyhow.

The two rode on in silence for awhile longer, before Huntress turned to head into a parking garage. Racing the bike up the steep circular ramps, she drove as if she didn't have a care in the world dodging the cars going down the same ramps. Getting to the top of the garage, Helena gunned the throttle all the way back and giggled softly when the bike popped back on the rear wheel, but she took it all in stride...up to and after the bile left the safety of the pavement to go sailing through the air toward what looked like a large bill board that showed a model in a swimsuit....

"Hang on!!!!!!"

Just as the bike approached the bill board, the sign fell back to make a landing zone of sorts for the two women.

Landing hard, Helena rode down the board's face and into the side of the building's upper wall, only to vanish into the interior of the building........

Scandal held on as the safe house was entered. "Nice place." She commented. "How abut a tour?" she asked jokingly, looking around.

Scandal wasn't one for the overcomplicated, but still, it was pretty nice. And if they could spend time together, it's worth it.

"You want a tour when all I'd think you'd want is to know where the bedroom was. They're through there, by the way, while to our left is the hot tub showers."

Removing the heavy utility belt and placing it upon the table, Helena continued to get comfortable, adding the cape and gloves to the small pile, before she sat down.

Next to come off were the boots as well as the holster that housed the collapsible staff she used in battle, two items of the costume that were soon added to the growing pile. Relaxed at last, Helena made a bee-line for the small, but well stocked kitchen to pour herself a glass of Merlot, only then wondering what, if anything, that Scandal drank.

"Do you drink?"

Scandal smirked at Huntress' assumption that she wanted to get right back to making out. "Well, it's not far from my mind, beloved." she said to her warmly.

She did nothing to get more comfortable short of taking off her biker jacket. She was plenty comfortable in her outfit with the familiar weight of her claw bracers.

Maybe she were still a bit jumpy, as if Batwoman, and the other birds were going to swoop in and beat her down, or at least try to, the instant she let her guard down. Like this were some elaborate trap to apprehend her for some crime they found out about.

After all, this was BoP territory, and the Six, and they have been rivals in the past.

"I try not to drink." She admitted as images of a half dozen bottles of wild turkey and Jack Daniels flashed into her mind on her night stand. She lost it when she lost Knockout, and was close after Kira. Those were bad, sad times, and drinking only reminded her of it.

Keeping tabs on her agents had always been a particular specialty for the Oracle, but how Huntress had slipped past her security net undiscovered ticked her off. It didn't help that Helena had been found in the hospital bed with Scandal, a known criminal and member of several criminal organizations, nor did it help that she was not informed of this bedding until after the Huntress had checked herself out of the hospital.

Adding insult to injury, Oracle was soon miffed that the Huntress would take this Scandal Savage person to one of their safe houses, a fact that became evident once the house went active. Maybe Helena was drugged, maybe she wasn't, but it was time to raise the security alert on the woman and her supposed new friend. Typing in the proper codes, Oracle notified other agents in the field to be on the alert, even as she sent a private message to Batwoman, asking her to stay close to the Huntress, in case this was just part of some elaborate scheme on Lady Vic's part.

"Water it is then."

Placing the Merlot back in its cradle, Huntress grabbed two bottles of water and closed the door, before she walked back into the main room. She was familiar with the woman's fighting skills, having faced off against Scandal on more than one occasion, but the private side of the woman was a mystery, much as she herself was to Scandal, or so Helena thought.

Smiling, Huntress offered the water to Scandal and then proceeded to open her own, only then to take a first taste drink, as if she wanted to be sure of the added flavors. Water was simply not on her choice of things to drink, as it was too plain, way to dull, and mostly scentless. Give her a Coke or an Iced Tea any day, a good wine, and when permitted, something far stronger.

"Did I thank you for saving my life yet?"

"Thanks," Scandal took a sip of the water carelessly. Even if it was poisoned, and she had no idea why it would be, it wouldn't hit her as hard as it would a normal person.

Scandal nearly jumped a bit as Huntress asked the next question, and Scandal couldn't help but smile at Huntress, "Oh, I think you've done so many times over," she said as she reminisced on their hospital stay.

She took their wild, passionate love making as quite the "thanks" though she was never ignoble enough to have expected it from other women she helped out.
It was still really nice, though.

"So, what shall we do now?" she asked casually. Being in a Birds of Prey base was not exactly a place she ever expected to be on any level of good terms, and thus she were unprepared to handle it.

"Well, you're the guest here, what would you like to do?

We could just talk, or we could relax, watch a movie, compare notes, whatever. I'm game..., but you seem a bit nervous, so I might ask if there's something wrong?"

Even if Scandal didn't exactly come out and say it, her body language told volumes. Perhaps it was where they were, or maybe it was the fact she was with a much healthier Huntress and that they had fought a few times in the past. Home court advantage could be a bit of an intimidation, but Helena hoped to ease that possibility.

Sliding up closer to Scandal, Huntress looked her over a bit closer, not so much as a tiger of its prey, but as a concerned friend, hoping Scandal would open up a bit, knowing the woman would need to talk if they were to get any where.

"No, nothing, beloved," she kisses Huntress warmly, "I just didn't expect the question is all," she hugged Huntress softly about the waist, contentedly, then nuzzled her cheek to cheek a moment.

"I'm a bit rusty at dating, and I'd like to know what it is you do for fun since we're in your city," she says in a soft, private tone with their intimate position.

She hugged their bodies close, as if she missed the feel of it. It felt good to have someone to enjoy. To love.

Especially when it's new, and at that lovely point where it was difficult to not want to be intimate.

If the kiss didn't surprise her, the fact she was pulled close did. Their lower body's pressed together, Huntress looked down for an instant before her lips were attacked again in a warm, loving kiss, that sent her senses reeling.

She had been controlled by the like of Poison Ivy before, but this encounter was far different, far more pleasing, if not just a little bit scary.

"Well, I've never.., that is, I've not..., um, dated a woman before, so I'm completely new to all of this. But it feels good."

Placing her arms around Scandal's shoulders, Huntress leaned in and delivered a soft kiss of her own, before she pulled away to brush her lips across Scandal's. Placing her head to Scandal's for a moment, Huntress then leaned in and placed her head on her new lover's left shoulder, as she returned the warm embrace, loving every minute of the hug.

"How about we change that?" she purred at Huntress in a sensual tone as her hands slid down to Huntress' latex covered ass while she held their bodies snugly together.

She pressed soft kisses to Huntress' neck as she waited for the answer while she adjusted the odds against a negative answer.

Her pulse began to race as she anticipated the moment, and enjoyed Huntress' scent as her lips played upon her skin softly in caresses, and kisses. Her eyes half closed as she enjoyed the moment, not sure how long it would last.

With each passing moment, Huntress fell under Scandal's control. She had denied her body far too long and what little affections she had gotten from Nightwing, or Arsenal had been to long ago. Feeling the hands caress her ass, Huntress moaned softly and returned the kisses to Scandal's neck, hoping her lover wouldn't mind the attentions. Pulling away at last, Huntress took a deep breath, showing Scandal clearly that she had indeed enjoyed the moments, before she gave her reply.

"I'd love to explore the possibilities."

Scandal swept Huntress off her feet, then carried her some place more comfortable so Huntress wouldn't be ravaged on the hard floor.

As she went, she pressed kisses to Huntress' lips, and neck to keep her warmed up for the main event.

Something they just barely had not managed to get to.
Maybe later they could punish that nurse for interrupting, but for now, she wanted Huntress more than she wanted anyone in a long time.

The Huntress gasped as the strong woman picked her up and carried her in her arms Huntress pondered just where they were going. Moments later after she had been kissing away at Scandals neck the Huntress found herself sat back down on her feet.

Huntress looked around curiously hearing the sounds of metal hitting the ground, seeing chains and a few other thinhs including a strap on with various dildoes and vibrators, then feeling her wrists grasped the Huntress watched as her hands were cuffed in front of her, she watched as the chain was looped through an over head hook brought down secured around the hand cuffs then the Huntress was hoisted into the air as she looked down seeing Scandal spread the hanging womans legs and attach a spreader bar hooking the bar to the floor securing the Huntress so she was immobilized in the air.

"Wait Scandal what are you doing?""

She gasped as she felf the woman squeeze her latex clad breasts from behind as Scandal pressed her own body into the Huntresses.
