Was talking to a friend off site and they were curious to know if there would be interest in a ship vid starring a black supergirl. Specifically Nia Nacci: https://hussiemodels.com/portfolio-item/nia-nacci/

What do you think? Any interest in a custom video starring her as Supes?

Let me know!
Bert

She's gorgeous. I think the real question is can she act and do action? I doubt if her skin color is going to be a factor for the vast majority of people.

After a long break I finally finished my third story a few weeks ago. I need to upgrade my sig to reflect that! I've started several other stories, but nothing is close to being finished.

I'll say it again, no one here likes to see black super heroines in their peril videos! Despite what others on this forum may say how thats not true, most fans do not but clips with black super heroines.

You can say it again and you will still be wrong.

You can't equate 'no one' with 'most' it makes no logical sense especially in a thread where several people HAVE explicitly said they are interested.

'Most' is a fair comment but 51% of a group is 'most'. A lot of people get pirate vids from sharing sites but you can't equate that to 'no one buys SH videos'.

If the girl is pretty, the costume is good, the vid is professionally shot, well acted, well written and the story appeals, there is no reason for it not to sell.

Adding to what Tally ho says, the girl has to be fit. If the girl is pretty but looks soft she can't be a superheroine just as male actors with receeding hair lines or pot bellies can't be superheroes.

You really missed the point especially since my comment wasn't about no one or most people buying sh videos but about buying sh videos with a black super heroine.

And I will say it again, if the black girl is pretty, the costume is good on the black girl, vid is professionally shot, well acted... the video still won't sell.

That's your opinion unless you have industry figures you care to share with us.

That said, guess the only answer is to make the custom with all the best attributes you describe including a great script with an intriguing villain and see what happens. Care to donate $10??

I by no means want to hijack or change the subject, but I know I prefer women of color as the villainess ir dominatrix against a petite white blonde heroine, I know my fetish comes from the pattern cutter where Eartha Kitt as Catwoman and the catwhiskers totslly dominates poor helpless white Batgirl, the interracial aspect to ME makes it 10x hotter...of course I am also that way with Black men as well, they must be the dominant subject of a film or picture set against a white heroine. But again, this girl looks amazing and would fill the role and boots great!!! meeeeow!!!

There is a difference between what people say and what they buy. I would like to see an attractive heroine in a cute costume doing scenes that hit my kink. So many other things before the color of her skin. I think some of the best supergirls stuff comes from Japan. Really beautiful models in well fitting costumes on nice sets doing interesting perils.

If they were tottering around in 6” heel I would probably like them a lot less, if it looked like it was filmed in a storage locker, also less.

Producers have to decide which models are going to sell and that is going to depend on personal taste and experience. This girl is gorgeous, hits a lot of my buttons. But if nothing else hits my buttons, probably just go right past it.

Gus Gorman may be right, he could be wrong. She could be the next Christina Carter. A lot of CC success had to do with the content she put out and not just her skin color.

I don't believe I did miss the point, I simply chose to address the sweeping and contradictory generalisations you made at the start of your statement which in essence boils down to -
nobody here buys black SH videos (thats the 'no one' bit) apart from the people here who buy black SH videos (That's the 'most' bit)

They don't sell as well in your opinion is your point but you stated there was no interest at all from anyone here at the site which is manifestly untrue and inaccurate. THAT is the part of your comment I was addressing

Years ago, He Who Shall Not Be Named had a beautiful Black woman in his group of actresses and she starred in many SHIP videos. HWSNBN wasn't known for continuing to produce content that didn't sell. Based on that, comments here and the poll results so far, I'd say Gus is just flat wrong.

Well, I'll tell you what. When I get that shoot done, we'll see how it does.
I don't know that I would shoot her as Supergirl because that's not what I had originally planned....but it could be a short side project to see how it's received.

Let's see some numbers then. Do you have sales data? Did you conduct an extensive survey of fans who buy clips? Otherwise it just sounds like you are espousing a theory that has no merit. I think black women are just as beautiful as any other. I would for sure like to see it.

You're just plain wrong.

Speak for yourself. Ultraheroix has some great African American heroines. I find heroines of color specifically appealing, and make it a point to buy them. They're just hard to find.

This reminds me of a model railroading facebook group I belonged to that got shut down due to trolls. Someone came in crying "where are all the black model railroaders" when guys like Monster Railroad were part of the forum. Turns out we estimated about 1/3rd of the participants were black or hispanic. But this person and some friends kept "fighting" until people got fed up and left and the owner shut the group down.

This is like going to your thanksgiving dinner and bringing up divisive issues over and over until someone says something in appropriate then you can feel good you did a gotcha on your family.

Gus, where are all the black men wanting black women? I see a great deal of black men screwing white women porn out there. Perhaps your question should be asked of another demographic.

Quit looking for fights that aren't there.

Yet multiple people in this thread alone have stated they would like to see Nia in a SHIP video, so your claim was already disproven before you even made it. So clearly, your stance has nothing to do with actual data, and is purely based on your own ignorant worldview. If you don't want to see black models in SHIP, then don't buy videos with them in it. But trying to argue against them being made altogether proves you to be a racist, and you're a fool to think others can't see right through that.

Let's just leave that conversation in the past and pass comment on your own views of the question rather than commenting on others views please.

That's not directed against any of the recent posters I just don't want another Heart of Darkness thread where we end up going Colonel Kurtz on each other ( and yes I know he's not in HoD, but I'm pitching for the descent into madness vibe there)

Why not a black Zor-El? They are cousins. Could be a thing.

Hell all the bets are off anyway.

I wanted Supergirl on the CW show to lose her powers to a black super girl. Why not. Stuff like that happens in the comics all the time. They could have given the actress a few months off for maternity leave while the new girl has her powers.

Krypton was a planet, heart of an actual interstellar empire. Why not a black one, or an Asian one? It was a planet, not a freaking city state. They aren't space Luxemburg. Besides, I have watched some of the Asian made SHIP videos, and while I don't speak the languages, the visuals are at least as compelling as the western stuff. The fight scenes are generally truer to the comic media too.

This isn't a discussion. This is one person stuffing a cat into a bag of dogs and hoping a fight breaks out.

One thing to have a discussion. Its another when someone comes in and just accuses people of pretty much being racists for no other reason than liking what they like.

Its a fake moral high ground.

Sorry, I just saw this topic! There is definitely an interest in minority, especially black Superheroines. I did a supergirl variation with Monica Jade as Megagirl and it did very well. It's a nice change a pace and adds variety for a lot of Superheroines fans. Although to be honest I've had more sales for white Superheroines, there is still a significant fanbase (and sales) for black and other minority Superheroines and I am happy and proud to provide that variety.

I think a Latina supergirl will be cool and they could dye her hair blonde. There are blonde Latinas.

Here's what I saw. Gus made one inflammatory comment then responded to the first person that bit. After that, crickets! Gus just sat, watched, read, and probably laughed his arse off at how easy it is to get people fired up. I admit that healthy debate is fun as hell, but the antagonist didn't participate at all.

Everyone has overlooked a factor from this comment. Gus said "no one likes to see black superheroines". Did this person not consider the thoughts of black men? Does he truly think black men don't want to see black women? This comment is ignorant and distasteful. Gus, certainly does not speak for all black men. As a black man, I would like to see a beautiful woman such as Nia Nacci be Supergirl.

A SHIP film with a black heroine needs an attractive model to be successful. That is the basic rule for all genres of porn. This type of SHIP film cannot afford to take a gamble on a model with a small fan base.

A SHIP film with a black heroine needs a good concept and direction like any movie. A black actress shouldn't be blamed for a film's failure if the director poorly filmed the movie or it has a bad concept. Most people would not want a hardcore SHIP film of a heroine farting regardless of the actress's race.

Here's where I can chime in alongside the esteemed Da Jinx. We cast as diverse range of characters as possible - Asian, Latina, Indian, Arabic, and all European ethnicities - given the limitations of living in Pittsburgh.

This includes one black superheroine and three black supervillainesses, about one-fifth of our active cast. which makes sense because our city itself is 20% black. We also gave Pittsburgh its first black mayor! (It has had never one yet in real life).

The origin story of the black superheroine (Savanna), in her Cheetah/Vixen-style jaguar costume, did well above-average in popularity.
We brought her back for another episode (it was difficult to arrange because first of all she had twins, which put her out of commission for a year, and then she moved out out of town, but her parents are still here) and then cast another black actress as her sister, the evil nemesis Panthyra. That episode (EP18) did equally well, and Panthyra can continue on to more adventures even if Savanna eventually
has to be recast (we have a backup actress whom we are interviewing soon, just in case - she is seriously statuesque!).

But then we also partially base the characters around their initial actress, and we feature only original superheroine creations - we never swap or erase anything in any direction. I don't think it makes sense to totally change the appearance of Supergirl, a character who has been blonde and white for 50 years. Instead, put the time and money into properly promoting a newly created character who represents her own unique point of view, rather than ripping off something already established. Monica Rambeau is a great example
of how to do this, and so is Naomi to some extent - the superheroine universe could use many more of those. Unfortunately many of the comic book creators in the mainstream industry have an agenda to destroy and replace, rather than to create and increase, because that is how their divisive politics operate, and also because they are lazy.

One of our most popular characters so far is actually one of the black villainesses, Sintilla. She is actually biracial, as her mom is British. She's so appealing that another comic book producer saw her on our convention floor and hired her on the spot to cosplay for a photo cover for his comic book, based in Cleveland. This is certainly because she looks completely amazing and utterly at home in her tight and shiny black and pink costume, as an experienced model, backup singer, and go-go dancer and a lover of all things sexy retro (e.g. Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt).

So it's all about how the actress looks, and the presentation. This model Nia looks amazing, but she could inhabit any role you create for her. So be inventive and original! That's my two cents.

We all know the safest bet is to stick with what works.
And the next safest bet is to try ONE less conventional thing.
A hot blonde is safer than Nia; the blue top and red skirt is safer than any other variant; Supergirl is safer than an original character; popular themes and fetishes are safer than new twists...

Nia swapped into a Supergirl video made by a studio that does well with Supergirl videos sounds like a fine experiment.
