I for one would love to see someone do a superheroine fetish podcast, although I would think it might be difficult to get sponsor, not to mention that it might be next to impossible to get on any existing podcast networks considering the nature of the fetish and the potential backlash of feminist and or activist groups.

That would be awesome to have one!
You took most of the words out of my mouth. I think the success of a superheroine fetish podcast depends on what the host covers. A superheroine fetish is not automatically SHIP. It could be about men and women enjoying a superherione fetish without the peril and violence. Captain America A XXX Parody by Digital Playground is a good example. It's about Black Widow and Captain America hooking up at HQ.bushwackerbob wrote: ↑4 years agoI for one would love to see someone do a superheroine fetish podcast, although I would think it might be difficult to get sponsor, not to mention that it might be next to impossible to get on any existing podcast networks considering the nature of the fetish and the potential backlash of feminist and or activist groups.
I agree the podcast would get major backlash if a movie such as Uninvited is covered.

Perhaps I am misreading the preferences of the majority on this forum but I would say that for most if you take the peril aspect out of the superheroine fetish you are taking out the engine that feeds the fetish, that dividing line that separates the SHP fetish from peril-free superheroine porn. The dichotomy here is that the same thing that defines the SHP fetish for many of us is also the very same thing that hinders SHP's ability to be more mainstream, more accessible to a larger audience. I for one have no desire to listen to a podcast discussion of superheroines running around in costumes and having consensual or mind controlled sex. But hey, that's just my opinion.GeekyPornCritic wrote: ↑4 years agoYou took most of the words out of my mouth. I think the success of a superheroine fetish podcast depends on what the host covers. I think there is a lot that could be covered in a superheroine fetish podcast. The psychology of the fetish, talking with producers and stars, there’s a lot that could go into the podcast. Sleeperkid on Wrestling with fetish does a great job interviewing and touching on the subject of kink and fetish.
I've actually thought of doing (hosting) something like this for awhile. Maybe a YouTube chat/discussion with a group of producers to chat with each other and fans on the genre and answer questions. Maybe do a one time special event and see how it goes. What do you folks think and who would be interested in participating ?
I'm not misunderstood, I'm just that bad!

the sleeperkid has done a bunch of podcasts in the past couple of years (mostly pre-COVID) with fetish actresses who are often in SHIP clips. I see Christina Carter, Coco, Jacquelyn Velvets, and Cali Logan are on here.
