What new types of peril do you want in the superheroine genre?

Post by GeekyPornCritic »

Superheroine peril genre has been around for many years. Some perils are reoccurring themes in many movies. First, the typical weakness of being exposing to a subtance such as kryptonite is commonly used for established and original superheroines. Second, the next weakness is losing a powerful item such as a belt or bracelets. Third, probably the most common peril is chloroform. Have many movies have we seen a villain using chloroform to subdue our heorine? Fourth, sexual stimulation is the easy way out to defeat a heroine to use her sexual desires to tame her.

I am sure there are many more common perils and weaknesses in videos. I think it is time for the genre to expand and create new creative methods to defeat superheroines.

As stated in the title, What new types of peril do you want in the superheroine genre? How do you want Supergirl to be defeated without kryptonite?

Here are a few ideas that I have come up with or read from stories on this site.

1. A villain or even jealous friend steals a superheroine's powerbelt or source of power for his or her personal gain. It would be easier for a friend to steal it especially if he or she knows the superheroine's identity.

2. Super villains team up to defeat and sexually destroy a common enemy. Just picture the Sinister Six defeating and then gangbanging Spider-Gwen.

3. I read one of Lady Jane's stories about Victory and she is nearly defeated by a Vampire. Victory becomes weak and surprisingly horny while the Vampire is sucking her blood. Vampires can pose a problem to superheroines because they are undead creatures. Superheroines are not trained to deal with Vampires.

4. A stronger villain defeats the superheroine. This rarely happens in videos, and I've seen it maybe four times out of 300 videos on my hard drive.

5. I really like Red Kryptonite's concept of converting Supergirl to a super villain. Instead of using a substance to weaken the superheroine, a villain uses a substance to convert the superheroine to a super villain. Then, our former superherione can be used to defeat her fellow supers.

6. Lie to the superheroine that you have hostages, and trick her to submit to you.

Well, I have a list of things I don't like in SH peril:

a) Tickling - I never find this fetish exciting. I find it silly.

b) Foot fetish - I know there's lots of support out there for debooting and such so I can't come down too hard on that. Just not a huge fan myself.

c) Dumb heroines - When someone falls into a trap that's so obvious that a sixth grader could avoid it, it ruins much of the subsequent scene for me.

d) Time stop attacks - These also do nothing for me. Having a heroine be a mannequin that's easily manipulated with no power to resist at all feels like cheating somehow.

Now, as to new perils I would like to see more of:

a) Add-on garments, devices, belts or helmets that draw off power - How the heroine is fitted with these is the trick of course.

b) This is a bit of a corollary to a) above but tricking a heroine to wear specially developed panties that control her or hurt her so that she would be immediately too weak to take them off.

c) Syringe attacks aren't used nearly as much as I'd like. Perhaps either as tranq darts or even arrows for the more powerful heroines. Of course, hand-injected syringes make the attack nice and personal.

d) Gas enclosures and mouth masks - Used occasionally but always a bit on the expensive side to produce in a convincing way so they're pretty rare.

e) Ball gags in unusual shapes - Whether designed as pacifiers or cheek bulgers or any of several other possibilities, these would be a fairly easy switch of the common ball gag and draw increased interest.

More to follow as I think of them.

I think I agree with Dr D regarding injections. I love me some sleepy peril, but I could do with some variety. Gas masks, sleeping dust, a bit of hypnotism - something other than just chloroforming.

A little more in the way of interesting, fun weaknesses too. Say, a heroine who uses powers that need her eyes being blindfolded, then easily overpowered and tied up before being kidnapped.

I guess a little more in the way of story couldn't hurt either, but I don't know how practicable that is.

I also 100% agree with Dr.D's List of Things I don't like.

Here is a weakness for fans of hardcore superheroine peril.

Weakness: Abstinence

Sex is a basic need for a person's mental health. No, I'm not saying a person will go crazy if he or she goes long periods of time without sex. The absence of sex can be a negative impact to a person's social life. Most movies depiect superheorines becoming weak or being tamed by her new master after an orgasm

I want a superheroine who needs sex to use her powers. Sex recharges this superheroine's power. She needs to have sex once per day to recharge her superpowers. She will be rendered powerless after two or three days without sex.

A villain can capture her and deny her orgasms until she agrees to be a sex slave.

We see the same things over and over because most people know what they want and they can't get enough of it -- and producers know what's easily filmed and what's a solid investment. This genre is not lacking creativity -- it's lacking any financial motivation for creativity.

The variety we do get is because somebody said "fork it -- I'm willing to write a big check to see something different." The more different it is, the bigger the check has to be.

So kudos to everybody who writes a big check. Double kudos to the rare ones who solicit/incorporate others' ideas before writing the big check.

I'd like to see more suspense, and heroines that actually process surprising information and adjust their approach.

I'd like to see a power other than "I think I am extra-strong and extra-tough." (And no, dropping in through the ceiling does not count anymore.) Then you could actually show me the loss or countering of that power in some way other than "omg that punch hurt."

Abstinence as a weakness sounds like fun :)

But I know if I really want to see such things I'm probably going to have to write a check.

I am also a big fan of seringue but we don't see it often enough.

I would also like to see more spike drink or drug/pheromones lipstick used against superhero/superheroines.

Another point, we do not see enough kissing in superheroine's movies.

I enjoy kissing in superheroine videos. I always add it to every custom order.

Count me as another fan of syringes! It must be something to do with penetration, I guess...

I also like the introduction of drugs/items/spells/curses etc that turn heroines to the dark side, and make them incredibly turned on.

I'm definitely not a fan of heroines becoming mindless or stupid drones to be controlled like puppets. I don't find that interesting. I much prefer to see the heroines participating with enthusiasm in their own debauchery!

Not exactly peril

How about superheroine who fall in love and willingly become a sex slave to a villain while still being a superheroine

or someone who need depraved sex to keep her powers

I think I must have said this before, but I am just really surprised nobody has done a peril/fetish version of the Sex Criminals comic. Other than obvious adult comics, that's the only one I've seen where the characters really have to have sex to activate their powers. And the power which is acquired through the orgasm doesn't have to necessary be time stoppage, it could be any kind of transformation into any kind of superpowered being, whether hero/ine or villain/ess, especially if they're in a tight costume. Where's the 'peril' involved? Well, for example, if you keep 'edging' the character while they're still in their secret identity, and they never fully transform, that would be pretty annoying for them wouldn't it? There many variations and possibilities within this theme, though, just like the various Sex Criminals in the series have various variations in their powers.

Another peril area that more people should try is 'high-tech' methods of causing harm, such as nanotech or cyberspace. Nanotech bugs that are released to crawl all over a heroine's skin or even to intrude into her more private places? Having a heroine be translated into pure data and be immersed into cyberspace, to be assaulted by malicious viruses and computer worms?

Not to mention the possibilities of ubiquitous technology like cellphones. I'm thinking, for example, of the villainess from Ladybug season one called Lady Wi-Fi (who by the way had a pleasingly tight costume). I'm almost writing out a script here, but what if there was a *heroine* with the same wi-fi powers (just get a Lady Wi-Fi zentai suit off the internet, I see one right now that's $55) and there was a villain who slowly cut off all internet access so she became powerless and was forced to submit to some seriously unbecoming peril to get her wi-fi turned back on?

It's the 21st century, and hopefully some adventurous millennials are entering our little niche..let's welcome them with open arms with some fun spirit-of-the-moment ideas. :)

any super blonde sexy petite heroine, secured tightly and bound on a sybian with an amazing funnel gag strapped to her head, forcing her to swallow ANYTHING put in the funnel, which is conveniently located inside a strip clubs bathroom...hmmmm the underworld biker gang criminals that the heroine has busted before turns the tables on her and it is all captured on hidden camera...the catch? the men only have to pay a dollar for a full 10 minutes in the stall....enough time for several trips for them and several DRIPS for her!!!!

Public orgasm of a hypnotized superheroine, using one of those Ohmibod or Lovesense orgasmic devices. The scenario I'm suggesting works like this:
Villain captures superheroine and fits the device.
Superheroine is hypnotized and made to forget her capture.
Superheroine attends a pre-planned public appearance and reads a speech.
Villain activates device.
Superheroine cums in public.

It could be fun to have a model reading the speech/script for the first time at a podium while receiving actual jolts of pleasure.

I have some ideas about new perils but, even more, I think usual ones could be used with more creativity.
About your points:

As for point 1, the heroine could go to battle with confidence and suddenly her power doesn't work... beacuse it was stolen or nullified with a device or somehow tampered with. A crushing defeat follows...

I like your point 2 too, but even more I'd like to see common people (a seemingly harmless group of nurses, waitresses, or any common girls for example) to team up and coordinate a smart attack that puts a surprised heroine out, with surprising ease.

3: I'm not very interested in vampires but there's an interesting idea here: a villain's nature (or some tool he's using) is such that heroine can't figt or can't cope. An example: villain can morph in a giant amoeba that is able to swallow the heroine and deny her breath, making escape impossibile as well. After all her attempts are vain, heroine uses up her oxygen and is asphyxiated.
Obviously this can be done in comics and fiction, quite difficult in video.

4: well many recent videos have a villain punching, crunching and beating to a pulp a poor heroine. Maybe I've seen more videos than you?

5: I don't like any idea about mind control or dumb heroines. But... Blackmail could force a heroine to do bad things. Including your point 6 below.

After commenting your points...
I'd like to see more often:

- Overconfident heroines that knowingly undertake impossibile mission (and maybe sometimes win in the end??)

- The anguish of a sidekick or remote headquarter controller that sees remotely (or anyway understands) that heroine is walking into a trap, or is being defeated, or wants to retreat but can't, or is being carried away as a prisoner after capture.

- Escape attempts gone bad (walking or hopping in bondage, trying to open doors, make communication devices work, calling for help at a window, trying to set other heroines free, fighting villains even when they are still partially bound, etc.)

- Heroine is kicking ass, first villain is down. But there're more, and more, and more. Until she's swamped, pinned and put out. Obviously this need at least 4 or 5 villain characters, in video clips can be expensive.

- Confident heroine makes a very impressive entrance in the villain's fortress. She's dropped with parachute (ok, not in video), surfaces from water in scuba equipment, smartly picks a door in the darkness, jumps over the walls and... villains know everything and are in waiting. Heroine is immediately ambushed and eliminated. Villains congratulate each other on a well done job.

- Prisoner heroine is bound and helpless, sidekick comes to the rescue. When villains detect this, to avoid the prisoner being of any help they ruthlessly put her out with ease (for example they suffocate a gagged heroine). Then they wait in ambush for the sidekick. Maybe they created some hint so that sidekick could find the prisoner and be eliminated as well.

- Trying to pass through a narrow passage (air duct, machinery, water pipe, whatever) to gain surprise over the villains, heroine is easily trapped and blocked into a escape proof trap, where she's offhandedly gassed or drowned.

- Heroine can't find her enemy, so she put herself in danger as a bait and is captured. But the communication or radio device that should be used to track her doesn't work or is blocked or found and destroyed. So she needs to escape (more easily said than done).

Other ideas:

- Heroine is trapped underwater in a maze made of chambers, or flooded base, whatever. She has scuba equipment or a power that permits her long stints underwater, but can't stay there forewer. She has to find a way out. And in the meantime scuba villains attack her again and again. Not a good idea for a clip, but can be done immagining a gas flooding the place (using dry ice, colored lights, etc...) and using gasmasks as a life saving device.
Heroine's demise comes when villains rip her mask off or block her air source (for example).

- Heroine is attacked by a tape-throwing device. Tentacles wrap her in tape, grab and tape hands, and so on. Needs special effects and good props, else it can be ridicolous. When heroine is trapped, villains gloat over her and then easily put her out.

- Strong villains throw furniture at heroine. She's strong but under a big wardrobe she's temporarily immobilized. Villains use this moment to put her to sleep. Variant: they use a big, big pincer-like device, or a net, and then dispose of her.

- Villain uses his powers to hold a blob of water all over heroine's face. A force field keeps this water from falling away. Heroine can't set her face free of the water and drowns.

and so on.............

I'd like to see some absurdly camp resolutions to seemingly dire perils. As an example of what I mean, here's a segment I was planning to use as a cliffhanger in a multi-part story:

A masked heroine is captured by a villain at a public place such as a museum or gallery. The villain hypnotizes her and tells her she's going to be a living work of art. When the next party of visitors reaches her exhibit, she will unmask herself and then snap out of her trance to see them all gaze upon and photograph her exposed face.

The villain escapes with stolen works of art, leaving the heroine to her fate. The next party arrives and the heroine does indeed fully remove her mask for them. She awakens to see...

...an elderly couple with sunglasses and a white stick each.

The heroine pulls her mask back on, just as the tour guide arrives and scolds the couple for walking ahead of the main party. They complain that most of the exhibits are not of interest to blind people, while the heroine resumes her pursuit of the villain. (She gets unmasked properly later in the story.)

The heroine would stop for a moment to thank the blind visitors in a deadpan Adam West style.

"Thank you, citizens. Your thirst for knowledge prevented my greatest secret from becoming public knowledge."
"A brass unicorn has been catapulted across a London street and impaled an eminent surgeon. Words fail me, gentlemen."

A scenario where her outfit is really restrictive.
In high heels, how can she follow an opponent who has the same speed as her?
With her mini skirt is even more difficult and prevents her from giving a kick when the opportunity arises.
The corset also preventing her from moving as she wants and her breathing is spared.
Her hair whipping across her face and her view is obstructed.

A scenario where the shots on her opponent are without effects because he is like a chewing gum (kind Buu in DBZ).

A scenario where her opponent is maniacal, player. She is placed in an environment where there are only traps like the MurderWorld (Arcade / X-Men).

I've been reading Steve Bell's Miss Marvelous. Thank you Void for telling me about this marvelous series. Steve wrote a lot of interesting perils that I would love to see in SHIP movies. I'm not referring to Miss Marvelous's weakness because that is very common in SHIP, but I do enjoy it.

1. I loved the idea of Miss Marvelous going undercover at a club. The bartender drugs her and his friend fucks her. I think this would work in SHIP if the heroine transforms to fight her attacker to only fail because she is drugged and gets fucked in public at the bar. Primal Fetish uses a bar..hmm..script writing time!

2. Miss Marvelous is ambushed, captured, seduced, fucked, and recorded by a fake cop. Superheroines trust the police without question. I actually wrote a script with this idea before I read this story. My story involves a corrupted lesbian cop capturing a superherione.

3. A weaker, but well trained fighter beats the superheroine. Most superheroines are not trained. They learn on the fly. They are stronger than most villains. However, a well trained fighter with world class talent may be able to beat a superheroine. He may not have super strength, but his experience and talent give him the advantage over a rookie superheroine.

Steve Bell wrote a villain named Stretch in his Miss Marvelous series. He is similar to Buu in DBZ. His body is completely rubber and he can stretch his limbs to grab his opponents in unique submission holds. Most physical attacks do not harm him because he is rubber. However, if Miss Marvelous uses her full strength then she can deliver some pain.

I want to see a heroine being put in a maximum security prison for her vigilantism, together with all the people that she defeated.

She gets gangraped and abused by the male inmates everyday
(Beaten until all her bones are broken, forced to become a human toilet, painful things shoved up her pussy)

Tortured by the guards everyday
(Electrocuted, waterboarded, whipped)

But she can never die because of her regenerative healing powers and is regularly forced fed.

By the end she is begging to be killed.

Something I don't see enough of is slow power draining. A Parasite type character that uses touch to sap away a heroine's powers. It can start as a hand over the clothing, and escalate from there... The more intimate the touch the better...Being kept as a battery for the villain(ess) who enjoys her like a snack over and over. Special effects can be used to show some power drain, or it can just be acting. You can skip the strobe lights (although I watch that video over and over (D nat vs the leech)
Bonus: Heroine's invulnerability being taken away means she's essentially a first timer to this type of touch.
Things I don't like are Gore...Beating...Death...anything that smacks (get it) of real world violence against women.

Uniform replacements. Either a new uniform when they're defeated/enslaved/converted or their uniform changes as they go through de-powerment.

Maybe a villain/ess with power over fabric/latex/clothing material and they bind the heroine with their own suit.

Your idea reminds me of a Giga video. The hero upgrades his costume, but it has serious defects. It permanently changed his sex and gender to female. Then, he now a she (they switched him with a female actress) becomes stronger, but is also vulnerable to pleasure attacks.

Giga has some great peril situations and power draining scenarios I'd love to see on this side of the Ocean. Their Black Dress series is one that can hit any character.

Big fan of this. I hate it when the heroine is instantly drained in some undramatic and unsexy way (ie: a flash of light), and then she's just beaten up and/or killed. I much prefer the slow draining myself, especially if it involves touching the helpless heroine all over her quivering body by hands, tentacles, vines, etc. Plus, if the heroine can recharge her powers overtime, why shouldn't the villain keep her alive (barely) as an ongoing "snack"? Maybe even show a time lapse in which she eventually surrenders and enjoys the draining process, becoming a willing pet of the villain.

I would also like to see more "freeze" videos, of a superheroine becoming a living helpless statue, but more focus on the villain playing with his/her new toy. Like touching her unmoving body, putting her onto a platform, draining her powers, selling her to a collector, etc. More time to show her new "life" as an object owned by her adversary, to exist as a trophy of his/her final triumph over the foolish heroine for all time. Something about the finality of it is really exciting to me.

Huge bonus points if the superheroine chooses to become a statue, whether by hypnotism, blackmail or even just her finally surrendering. The villain could make a grandious speech about how tired the heroine is of fighting crime, leading a double life, but that evil keeps coming up. The uselessness of her efforts to stop the unstoppable. That over time, even she will age and be forgotten. But as a work of art, her beauty and legacy will literally last forever. She'll be immortal. A shining example and inspiration for future do-gooders. Upon hearing and accepting this, she could step onto a platform or put on an object that'll put her into suspended animation for all time. Just a thought.

I love to see heroes and heroines defeated but not everything has to be an end in itself 😉
I see a similar scene (see photo) and am I more than satisfied?
Absolutely not; for me there must be a story behind it otherwise it's all (for me) "wasted" ..........
Of course it comes down to personal opinions
😉

In terms of new forms of peril, I think it should be consistent with the heroines story line, e.g., supergirl with various forms of kryptonite, or being crushed, beaten down by a villianness, villian who has same powers.

I do think good writing and directing to set up either different kryptonite or super villian to give legitimacy to eventual defeat of supergirl. I think too often film goes straight into peril without backstory.

Example: from the film with Alexis Monroe in :
Super Addict: Supergirl is defeated by villianess
who can shoot electricity from her fingers.

But to different perils, 1st back story to heroines
strength and weaknesses is most important.

I would say classic bat-traps (particularly of the pornographic kind). The heroine captured and facings some creative and overly prolonged peril. A drowning trap or exploding dildo set to kill her after inducing x-number of orgasms. Fuck machines set to bone her into the hereafter while the villains make their escape.

I have to agree with those that have said more "Bat Trap" like. Those familiar with Dick Sprang's comic work or the 66 Batman show know what I'm talking about. The problem with Supergirl stories I find is that the Kryptonite is too easily gotten all the time - it's like the villains can pick it up at Walgreens.
The writers for a lot of stories make the heroines very, very stupid. "Gasp! They've taken my magic bracelet/belt/pendant! I'm completely powerless without it!" Could we get a hell of a lot less of that in the stories? We are all here for the peril and the traps and the sex, but that doesn't mean I want to read about or watch heroines that are idiots.
I have an artist villain called Rembrandt that ties up heroines and then covers their naked bodies with paint and rolls them along canvases. He then sells the canvases to rich businessman and criminals as pieces from the humiliation collection.
And for Pete's sake can we have the heroines look and act like heroes? I'm so sick of the costumes being straight up bikinis and a mask. I'm sure for the 3D poser stuff it makes it easier, but part of the appeal is the heroine getting decostumed. Two tugs on a bikini isn't much.

This is not exactly a peril, but what about the villain having a psychological trigger(not mind control) but enough to affect the heroine so she is defeated.

But she can't figure it out.

I would also like some sort of a villain who could possess a heroine where she is still in there and realizes everything that is happening to her body, all the emotions and physical contactd but not in control, the possessor is and is a sadistic sex fiend and goes out and engages in unimaginable sexual deviant acts...the villain remains safe of any complications the host gets into and the heroine experiences it ALL, but helpless to stop it, her voice, her expression and all of her actions controlled...imagine how dirty that could get!!!

Idk if there's any such thing as 'new perils' if I'm gonna be real. But perils I'd like to see MORE of? The heroine being defeated and humiliated publicly viewed more as 'tragic' than in bad faith. Where the observers don't immediately go 'Lex Luthor is raping wonder woman... SHE'S a whooooooooooooooooore!' (I guess Lex Luthor couldn't be blamed for anything?)

I don't think I have ever seen a peril where the heroine is cloned multiple times and controlled by the villians....sending them out into the world, not as the heroine but as normal people they put into perilous situations and sexual scenarios....each individually feels what is happening to them at the time but the heroine feels ALL of them.at the same time...100 clones in a gangbang and each individually enjoys it but the real heroine feels all 100 at once ....plus pain of a sawmill.peril, or a laser beam or pendulum blade, the rack, a whip, the iron maiden....all while.she is contained and filmed as it happens to het clones...

To whatever extent I'm about the peril, it's more about the public humiliation kink than probably anything else. That and/or the threat of permanent or semi-permanent sexual captivity (but that's only a "peril" in good-ending fiction where there's real suspense about whether the heroine prevails, since I take "peril" to be fundamentally about suspense).

Of course public humiliation has the most teeth if the public is irrationally hostile somehow. This may not always mean the public is randily cheering on rape or sexual debasement, though I have made some use of that trope and if you grew up in the Nineties and the Oughts when pimp culture was openly glorified, that seemed perhaps more believable than in some ways it seems today. But I take Femina's point, it's really too easy. And there are similarly terrible alternatives: public indifference or apathy (the heroine being reduced to such straits that she just becomes invisible to society, especially if she visually scans as poor or homeless); pity (in its way worse than hostility); the public being horrified by their predicament but simply too fearful of the people messing with her to say anything (not one I've used to any great extent to date but I do have some ideas).

Or, if you're writing fiction with a good ending, you can simply have public humiliation backfire on the baddie. I did that in [shameless plug alert, sorry/not-sorry] one of the Space Princess books, where the Big Bad humiliates the lead heroine publicly and instead of cheering him or being quietly terrorized as he'd expected, his public rose up against him and deposed him. That was just as satisfying to write as any of the bad-end stuff I've done.

That's quite inventive, really. I don't believe I've ever seen anything like that either.

I like the sound of that twist ending. Got a link to that specific Space Princess story?

It's The Fourth Rule, the first episode of Space Princess, free at the Amazon link in my sig. Thanks for the interest. :)

EDIT: But I mean I can provide a direct link, too...

On Netflix. Jessica was suffering PTSD after a villain used mind control to force her to have sex with him and to kill for him.

1. Giant sized peril. Giga is pretty much the only company that produces giant heroines in peril, most Western producers just do femdom and vore if they touch giantess material at all. The idea of a heroine being publicly humiliated at a scale no one can ignore is very appealing to me.

2. Heroines fighting with new handicaps or weaknesses, a heroine is brainwashed or otherwise manipulated to have a weakness they didn't have previously and now they have to deal with the reality of fighting crime with it. Maybe the villain that gave them the weakness shares it with other criminals to make her life difficult.

3. Public meetings turned peril, a heroine sits down for an interview, does some inspirational speaking or fan meetup, any thing that makes her feel safe and appreciated around fans only for those "fans" to turn it around on her.

4. Age difference, teen heroines getting dominated by mature villainesses, or mature heroines getting over confident and letting teen criminals get the better of them.
